Babies due in AUGUST 2010....

I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

Looking forward to seeing other people on this exciting journey

I just popped on to change my details on the list. Went to the doctors today but won't be seeing a mw until 18th, ages away! Hope all the sickly feeling ladies are not feeling too bad, I've been a bit queezey but not too bad, the tiredness has wiped me out though. Still it's my birthday tomorrow!

hello agian ladies, have been doing minimal mumsnetting due to festive business/ pregnancy tiredness...

still pg! have seen mW - lovely MW booked me in who attended DS's birth.

gave blood again (why do they never get the vein?) for all their tests.
although i found another blood-wallet amongst my paperwork afters, so may have to go back again to get that one done.

Back online after lots of hereing and thereing. So sorry to see that some of the group have miscarried.

I'm feeling fat, spotty and sick. We've seen lots of family and friends this week but haven't told anyone our news yet, as I'm worried to following a previous miscarriage. Think my mum may have clocked though

Really really want my scan date to come through now, I am 9 wks tomorrow. Feel like I could relax a bit more if I get the all clear at the scan.

Have a feeling I will be chasing the apt though as the doctor wasn't listening when I said to go by the EPU dates..

Off shopping this morning while Mum has the girls for me.

Morning all,

Felling little sickly this morning and sleeping far longer than normal. Can't believe it's NYE! Happy Birthday Looby!

I'm thinking my hospital could be quite good as getting the scan date so early seems to be a positive sign for starters. Still seems like an endless wait though!

Have plenty to do today, going into work for a couple of hours then off to meet DP in town. Although I have to say laying on the sofa seems a far better option right now.

Well, I had my scan at 8.30am this morning and all is well

We saw the heartbeat and were reassured that everything seems fine. The sonographer could see where the bleed had come from and said to expect more bleeding, but that it wouldn't affect the baby at all.

Huge relief! Quite an uncomfortable scan though - had expected it to be an external scan but it was internal.

DH also relieved to only see one baby in there - he was convinced it was twins!

So now I can relax a little until my 13 week scan and enjoy celebrating the new year with a lovely family meal tomorrow. Hope everyone else has a lovely day! Off to bake a celebratory chocolate cake with ds.

My scan also was great news,good strong heart beat,mine also was done internal not the best feeling.No explanation for the bleeding,but they seem to think every thing is ok,going for a follow up appointment next week for reassurance,and was told if that if worried or anything changes to ring them.

Got my scan date through today, 11th of Jan so only about 10 days to wait. DH can't get the day off work though so I'll probably have to go in with 13mth old DD [nervous emoticon] and of course paranoid pregnant woman that I am, I'm dreading finding out something bad and not having DH there with me...

So jealous you have your scan date through littlemiss the last few days I've been getting random NHS letters through and get excited everytime but they are boring non baby-related things chulita so excited for you, scan date is nearly here! I'm gunna have to go without my DH aswell as he will be away bobbing around in the north sea somewhere at work, booh! so think I'll probably be on my lonesome as mum/friends will probably be working

Question... when I went to see the doctor he sent my details off to the hospital told me a few tips and my due date and basically said he didn't need to see me until after my 13 week scan, unless there is any pain or bleeding. Aren't you supposed to see a midwife before then? or is that all at the same time

I think you should see your midwife around 10 weeks for your booking in appointment. Maybe call your hospital and ask?

Yeah, you may get an appointment from the hospital - it seems to work differently in every area.

Nothing left in me, no more scans needed and im allowed to try again when im ready. Life is a shit.
