I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

Looking forward to seeing other people on this exciting journey

Sorry should have put on that I have two boys 8 and 5 (am I mad goin back to the sleeples nights and that my hubby will be in Afghanistan when this little on is born. He left for Bosina three weeks after #1 and was back form iraq by 12 hours with #2 so I should be used to it.

So glad there is this thread I will not feel so alone now xx

Welcome alys know what you mean about going back to the sleepness night my 2 boys are 16 and 13,was thinking back the other day and used to love christmas when they were yonger going to the school nativity etc can,t wait having a young one again .

it has been really quiet on here but I'm sure things will pick up soon. We told some more family members over Christmas - didn't want them feeling a bit miffed we hadn't told them while we were up. Also told ds who know gives a hug to the baby every time he gives md a hug. Luckily a few close friends have had babies recently so he knows my tummy needs to grow huge before baby arrives!

9 weeks tomorrow - hope there's a scan date waiting for us when we get home. Can't wait to get home to my own house, own bathroom and own bed. Home sweet home!

I've eaten soooo much my little tummy is fit to explode lol. Home again for a couple of days I hope, feeling deprived of wine however the chocolates have been going down a treat!

Pleasantly surprised at how well I'm feeling so far, bet now I've said that it will all change. My boobies are like little rocks though!! Ouch.. !!

Had joined the September 2010 club, but just checked my dates and due date is 26th August.

I have 3 DC, 9,7,4 and am 44. I was planning to go back to work next month, but think I will put it on hold now.

I have just lost 8 stones an was looking forward to buying lots of size 12 clothes and nice lingerie in the sales. Think I'll put that on hold too! But over the moon as I thought that all this was behind me and really pleased to find out I have another chance.

smiley wow 8 stones!! that is amazing, how did you manage it? I had lost weight recently too. 11kg since dd2 was born last september. Feel like I've put most of ot back on again already.. It all knows where to pop out to once you' ve had a baby before.

Hopefully they will try and get him home if not my mum and dad.

I've been awake since 1:30am, is that normal? I was convinced it was all coming to an end as my boobs were not sore and I did not feel sick any more(8 weeks of feeling rubbish you think I would have been glad of a break)

Any way thats enough moaning, I feel a lot better today and the boobs are back to normal, so I am a lot more reassured.

Well I'm still off food and about 8pm i start feeling really nauseus, at least I can just go to bed. Am forcing myself to eat but really don't fancy anything. (better than throwing up though)

Thinking about making docs appt now, have got past the point of the last pg, and also Christmas eve was a worry as that's when I mc last year. Am still pregnant, am actually starting to believe I may even get a little baby at the end of this one.

I too have started spotting a tiny bit this morning which is just gut wrenching to any mum to be but especially when you have been there before, although it was much later last time. I am 5+5 I think (due 25th Aug) so am just hoping it's still implantation bleeding. I am taking my booking letter to the antenatal office at St Georges tomorrow (not playing the royal mail and then hospital post system game) and hoping I might be able to self refer for an early scan. Trying to keep calm and stay relaxed about knicker checking.....although I am still peeing like there is no tomorrow as its hard to avoid. I am so bloated......even before the Christmas dinner, thank god for leggings!

Will update the list as my date has changed by a day. I am staying positive!!!!!

Just popping my head around the door for a post-xmas 'hello' and welcome to the new girls! I've been a bit quiet of late because I've just been so tired and (like most people) all over the place visiting relatives and friends.

I'm 6+1 today and luckily got through 25th and 26th without any nausea but spent most of yesterday in bed or laying on sofa feeling very sicky. Feel slightly better today (up and dressed!) but keep getting waves of nausea coming over me. Not pleasant but not unmanageable, I'm hoping it stays like this and doesn't get any worse.

Also woke up yesterday with the most foul taste in my mouth, not metallic just like a really bad breath taste. Disgusting. It only goes when I eat nice fresh things like oranges but then that makes my tummy all acidy so I'm just sucking sugar free mints as much as possible.

We got a juicer and smoothie maker from my mum in law for xmas, once I stop feeling so off it will be a great way of getting fruit and veg into my diet

Hi, I'd love to join. This is my second posting (my first was about lubrication -nice!). I am 5 weeks and a couple of days with my first. Am seeing the Dr tomorrow - think I'll be due 27th or 29th.

We only got married in Oct and just started trying - had been on the pill for years and wasn't hopeful but we've been lucky. Still, it's very early days and I am by nature always paranoid, so am convinced something is going to go wrong! Not had any nausea yet but boobs have been sore and about once a day I get a cramping pain for a minute or so - more like ovulation pain than period pain - and I've also been tired, grumpy and tearful, so a delight to be around over Christmas!

Hi i woke up today bleeding heavily so quite sure there is no hope left, was meant to go gp's weds/thurs but going to go in the morning to find out what is next. Do you think they will still want to scan me?

God i don,t believe it been to the toilet and and am sure i saw blood, sorry for to tmi,wiped a few time since and nothing,i am really shitting myself can,t go through all this heartache again.Phoned the doctor and can,t be seen till tomorrow just wondering if could book a privite scan for today.
