I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

Looking forward to seeing other people on this exciting journey

Hello Ladies, Can I join you all.! 1st BFP on Monday due 27/08/10. Scared and excited all at the same time, your support would be greatly appreciated. Congrats to you all and merry Christmas! x

Morning & Happy Christmas!!

Been away and working so not been able to post - have just waded through 10 pages! Welcome newbies and I am really sorry about the ladies that have left.

I've been suffering from Nausea morning until night including, on one occasion, waking me up in the night. I've told my parents and sister as really couldn't cope pretending to be bright and breezy anymore. Off to in-laws for Christmas day and due to visitors we won't be able to tell them until the evening.... really not sure how I'm going to get through the day.

It's my birthday on the 27th and all my friends will be expecting the usual festivities... not sure how I'm going to get out of that one either!

Wishing you all a wonderful few day x x x

bigmuther65 · 24/12/2009 09:40

Have a Great Christmas everyone hope those of us suffering with nausea manage not to feel to bad

Rubena · 24/12/2009 09:46

Hello,
I've been following for a while, so thought it would be rude if I didn't introduce myself! I'm still on a thread with the girls from my first pregnancy, and what a lovely bunch they are, but don't want to totally bore them with pregnancy symptoms! Got a b+ive a couple of weeks back and estimate about 8/8 due date but have all the appointments in the 1st week of Jan to confirm. Have had morning nausea but no vomit yet(like last time) and feel massively bloated.....
Have a great Xmas all x

am firmly crossing my fingers for yu poppy try not to lose too much hope just yet, look at girls story*

(((()))) for you. x

PoppyIsApain · 24/12/2009 17:56

Went to GP, she said i have to go back in a week to see how iam and get a scan booked. The bleeding was more like spotting i think, and had stopped this morning but i seem to have brown bloody discharge, soz for the TMI. I am trying to be prepared for the worst so that im ready for it. We were about to tell dh's parents last night after i'd been toilet as well. I just wish i knew either way, a week seems so long and such bad timing with christmas.

girlsyearapart · 24/12/2009 20:08

very long time to wait poppy. I had about 30 hour wait which was already way too long. When they rang to move apt forward 2 more hours I was really struggling to hold it together.

Without wanting to raise your hopes your bleeding sounds a lot lighter than what I had but you sound like you're dealing with things the same way I did- give up hope and expect the worst.

I don't know if it's the best way but that's what I needed to do so I understand.

Take care.

PoppyIsApain · 24/12/2009 23:20

Thank you girls what you have said means alot, i still feel sick so that might be good. I keep knicker checking ocd style, it is rather taking my life over. Cant wait till 30th when the scan can be booked. Having no hope helps as i can see it more clearly, i am scared though

Have a good christmas everyone

mrsZaC · 25/12/2009 08:02

hey girls just a quick one to say merry christmas to you all, hope you all have a great day..

best of luck poppy, fingers and toes crossed for you.

I'll catch up properly when I'm back at work, speak to you soon ladies

northlondonchoclover · 25/12/2009 11:43

Started spotting yesterday, dark brownish, sorry if TMI

Some more today - only when I wipe though, and dark brown.

What bad timing!

Not quite sure what to do, best to wait and see?

Missus84 · 25/12/2009 12:36

Wait and see northlondonchoclover - lots of women have spotting early in pregnancy and all is fine. Brown blood is old blood, I'd only start panicking if you see lots of fresh, red blood and/or if you get pain or cramping.

northlondonchoclover · 25/12/2009 13:11

Thanks Missus84, am trying not to panic.

Stopped for now, but feeling slight heaviness below (although not cramping or severe)

irishmumwannabe · 25/12/2009 22:08

Poppy and northlondonchoclover I am keeping my fingers crossed here for you both. Hope you get your scan soon Poppy. FWIW when I had my mc in July I went straight to A&E and they scanned me then and there at 5 weeks.

HOpe you are both ok and think positive if you can.

Hello to the new people - the list is getting long isn't it?

Talk to you all soon

Crazycatlady · 26/12/2009 10:31

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful time. We had the best couple of days, with family here on Christmas Eve then friends and their lovely 14 month old boy here yesterday for Christmas Dinner. DD got thoroughly spoilt, she had a ridiculous number of presents to open... but really it was just brilliant.

We told our parents on Christmas Eve that we're having another baby, they were over the moon but very shocked, don't think they were expecting it this soon.

Exhausted today after three days of constant cooking and two days of fun...

Poppy and choclover hope you're ok. Sorry you're having such a worrying time, especially over Christmas.

I've got my scan date through - 27th Jan. Aaaaaages away.

girlsyearapart · 26/12/2009 13:59

sending out the positive vibes to you both poppy and northlondon.

I am thoroughly exhausted now after a xmas spent rushing around whilst remembering I'm meant to be taking it easy..

I am also now a compulsive knicker checker now even though there has been nothing since the day I went to hospital.

FIL told me yesterday that his sister had 8 miscarriages, 5 went to full term and she spent the whole 9 months in hospital before having her healthy son, who is nearly 30 now.
Some people have it so tough

Can't wait to get my scan date through should be end of jan hopefully.

northlondonchoclover · 26/12/2009 14:12

Its all over for my little bean. Thats 2 MC in 4 months. DH and I are totally devastated

Thanks for the support, all the best to the August 2010 mums.

Crazycatlady · 26/12/2009 14:27

choclover I'm so sorry . Look after yourselves xx

PoppyIsApain · 26/12/2009 17:03

I am sorry for you choclover
I am still waiting, had a severe migraine yesterday which kept me in bed nearly all day on my ds's 2nd xmas
Iam bleeding brown blood occasionally and fresh blood even more rarely and not cramping at all but felt very sick all day today, as though iam very hungover but i havent had even a sip of alcohol obv's. GP said on xmas eve to go to a & e if i bleed alot more and/or very unwell in myself which i certainly am not right, im going to phone out of hours doc's when dh gets back at 6pm, im abit worried that i might get myself stuck in hospital overnight

Hope everyone are having a great christmas

bouncingblueberries · 26/12/2009 20:49

Big hugs to poppy and northlondon thinking of you both

bigmuther65 · 27/12/2009 11:49

So sorry northlondon, fingers crossed poppy
Hope everyone had a great Christmas,as if by some miracle i felt fine Christmas day no sickness didn,t feel to nauseas, but now back to normal.Just been looking on the internet sales and brought some maternity trousers, but may be a bit to early yet to wear them, think any expansion is down to all the food i have eaten.

popAwheelie · 27/12/2009 12:59

Take care you two- hope you're getting lots of support, hugs and delicious meals made for you.

alys78 · 27/12/2009 20:01

hi,

Just found this group and would love to join. I am due on the 5th. We had a miscarriage in October so am checking every five minutes.

I am so sorry for northlondon and her family and have everything I can have crossed for poppy

Its nice to have somewhere to come and feel normal as my hubby thinks I am very neurotic at the minute
