I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

Looking forward to seeing other people on this exciting journey

Sorry to hear that PDR

PDR · 13/12/2009 14:19

Thank you everyone - everything happens for a reason I think so obviously this little bean wasn't meant to be. On the plus side, we won't be needing to move house for a while yet [sigh!]

PDR · 13/12/2009 14:46

oh dear.... i know i shouldn't have but i have now done another CBD test and it's come back positive 1-2 weeks.

i think i will still go to my appt at the hospital tomo if only to get some advice...

have kind of resigned myself to the fact that it's gone.

Missus84 · 13/12/2009 14:53

How many weeks pregnant should you be PDR?

I would definitely go to your appt tomorrow - at least you can get it confirmed either way.

PDR · 13/12/2009 14:59

I would be 7 weeks according to my LMP but then as my cycles are irregular I can't pinpoint the date I ovulated.

When I went for the scan yesterday the sonographer said I measured 4 weeks 4 days....

Missus84 · 13/12/2009 15:03

Hopefully the doctor can check the hormone levels in your blood for you.

BunnyBaby · 13/12/2009 16:22

PDR, that's really good news, fingers crossed for you tomorrow

vinocollapso · 13/12/2009 17:43

PDR, don't despair yet, wait until you've been to the doctor's. As Missus says, wait for the hormone levels to be checked - I don't know how accurate Clear Blue tests are, but when I had a mc in July, pg hormones are still detected. Wait and see what the professionals say tomorrow. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, I truly am. Is someone with you?

Either way, don't lose hope and hang on in there for the next time. Be kind to yourself and do what you need to do to get through it (vodka worked for me!).

xx

liahgenispreggerswithnumber6 · 13/12/2009 17:54

Oh blimey pdr I have my fingers very very firmly crossed for you. Hope it's good news.

muser Am hoping you will have good news for us this evening too. x

cazzybabs · 13/12/2009 18:38

PDR - just wait till you have seen the doctors before deciding either way. I am a pessimist and perfer to think the worst...but you need to keep the glimmer of hope.

I would like say...morning sickness morning sickness - all day sickness with throwing up in the evening sickness

erghhhh this is the worst I have ever had morning sickness

Muser · 13/12/2009 19:45

Afraid there's no good news from me. My hormone levels have dropped. I have to take a pregnancy test in a week to make sure it's all done with.

cazzybabs · 13/12/2009 19:51

irishmumwannabe · 13/12/2009 23:23

muser and PDR I'm so to hear your news. As others have said, so many of us know what you are going through.

Just been in my MILs for the weekend - told her as she lives in the UK and we won't see her for another 5/6 months. She's excited but she's not getting OTT because I told her about my MC in July as well.

Symptoms wise, heartburn, exhaustion (walked around Birmingham all day yesterday and then slept from 6:30 until about 9:30 this morning ) nausea, sore boobs - I'm just happy to have them though.

HOpe you all have a good week.

Scotchontherocks · 14/12/2009 00:00

Take me off the list, too It's been a hell of a week. 3 years TTC and MC at 6 weeks. Wishing everyone else all the best of luck, though. x

vinocollapso · 14/12/2009 07:39

Muser and Scotch - so sad for you, truly. Hope you're resting up and being looked after and taking it easy. PDR - again, so sorry it's gone the wrong way. I'm thinking of you all and don't lose hope for the next time.

I had a about 4 hours yesterday when my sickness lifted - I didn't realise how shit it was making me feel until it went. I got so much done! And ate pizza instead of crumpets!

But now it's back, and I'm gagging all over the place. Still, I'm not ungrateful.

Kaylo - we're in the same situation bedroom wise! Don't worry, it's only short-term, tell your DH to go and have some fun on his own, that's what I'm doing!!

ElusiveMoose · 14/12/2009 08:23

Muser, Scotch and PDR, I'm so so sorry to hear your bad news . It must be so hard to hold on to the positives, but at least you know that you are able to conceive - so there shouldn't be anything stopping you conceiving again, when you're ready.

When I was pg the first time round I only joined up to the antenatal thread in my second trimester, and all the beans were born successfully. This time round it's really lovely to be talking to people earlier, but at the same time it's so awful to lose people from the thread .
