I feel shit v. happy

skihorse · 26/11/2009 11:47

I had a cunty moment this morning when I realised that I love all the BESHies!

Ponymum · 26/11/2009 11:53

rots It's the obstetrician who told me not to have another one. Mainly because of the SPD, but also I suspect because of my age. Also she is really against c-sections and she probaby thinks me coming back will wreck her statistics.

I was severely disabled for nearly a year last time, and her view is that the SPD will be worse this time around and I might bugger myself for good. I am more positive. Yes, I'll probably end up in a wheelchair for several months but this time I know what it is and I have been seeing a physio right from the start, as well as all the pilates and strengthening I have done in the last year.

If I am in a wheelchair it's pretty much got to be a c-section. We went through the options last time - I thought I could do a water birth if I stayed upright but they said they wouldn't let me as I couldn't get myself in and out of the pool so it was too dangerous. As I say, will find out more today.

skihorse · 26/11/2009 11:57

Ponymum You also have me and I can send good drugs. x

givecarrotsachance · 26/11/2009 12:30

ponieez @ SPD. Not good. LOL @ obs getting her stats screwed up . That's the way the crumbles, as an old teacher used to say.

iggy glad you're feeling shitty!

ski I have strong sense of smell in spades. It's VV horrible. The world smells really bad - or maybe it's just my part of Yorkshire .

Ponymum Sorry I've been caught up in all sorts of things, e.g., sleeping, eating, feeling sick etc. and I completely forgot to say that I'm so glad you're back. When you disappeared I thought you'd either had a name change and gone incognito or you just hated us too much to find us! So it's great to have you back on board and it does of course mean that us baybee-virgins can ask you and carrots for information. You really put my mind at rest for example knowing that you too had fears of baby/foofoo fail.

skihorse · 27/11/2009 09:34

How are you all feeling today? iggy I trust you're feeling like poo? What are everyone's plans for the weekend?

I'm going to ride early tomorrow morning so that I can have an afternoon nap and with any luck get out to the cinema tomorrow evening without allowing my head to fall to my chest and dribble & snore through the entire screening.

Nausea hit me hard last night at around 7pm and almost literally knocked me off my feet. Am craving fruit and sushi so had to stop at the supermarket on the way to work because I don't fancy taking a stroll out at lunchtime in this hurricane weather.

iggypiggy · 27/11/2009 09:59

I feel rough as a badgers arse

Like i has hangover or summink.

I also wanting lots of fruit - a good fing I guess

CurlyCasper · 27/11/2009 10:17

feeling left out. not sick at all and just want carbs. Nipples back to pink, belly ok. cramps pretty much gone. I feel nuffink Wish babies could kick or summat in week 7...

Suppose I should do some housework at the weekend. Other than that, a lie-in is on the cards. Maybe some pressie wrapping and sorting out of bank accounts. Oh, the thrills

skihorse · 27/11/2009 10:20

Yeh I'm doing some pressie shopping, we're having a secret santa at the stables and of course I've my BESH to buy for. I've told jailbait to keep his eyes peeled for something in this genre today.

Curly exackerly, you should be able to see inside if you shine a torch or something.

It's one of the lad's birthdays and normally I'm right in there, he's got a luxurious type of fresh fruit covered cake, a local cake (rice & cream & chocolate), apple pie and something else. I had to walk away...

iggypiggy · 27/11/2009 10:20

casper I also want crisps and toast

CurlyCasper · 27/11/2009 10:27

you two are fuelling my hunger. ski I would have my face in that birthday trough before you could say "puke"; iggy - toast (or any form of bread) all the way! Actually not after crisps though

Just had two slices of white bread, hummous and ham. starting on my fruit corner. Then I think it will be cuppa soup time... Think my lunch will be gone well before lunchtime!

skihorse · 27/11/2009 10:32

I've got for lunch and still untouched:

Box of sushi
microwave pasta dish
500ml fresh squeezed pomegranate/raspberry/apple
mango/pineapple slices

I will be eating bogroll by 6 though!

skihorse · 27/11/2009 13:54

OK, I've eaten everything.
