katster, I haven't done anything (well except a little trimming with a mirror, but really just little and carefully) since weeks, if not months. In my case it is really impossible because of my varicous veins. And my husband agrees on it. If I just imagine, one little cut and there would be a lot of blood involved. It does not look pretty at the moment (strangely interesting though, maybe worth to be in any book for medical students or midwifes) but I guess, when I'm in hospital surrounded by medical staff, they have seen worth or at least similar. And if they haven't yet, it's time to learn anyway (that's probably the teacher in me speaking)
I don't think my bottom pain is getting me any nearer to a labour start but at least I can work on my "breathing to get through pain". It's not as easy as I thought. I seem to stop breathing when I feel pain, so it is really good exercise (again teacher speaking).
My husband seems to be stuck at work for another couple of hours, his team has to do something to finish the last month. One guy is currently in NY, so you can't blame him, the rest seems to have left already (one guy to play tennis!!!). I wonder what they would have done if he hadn't come to work today (what they all expected, as they all thought, it has to happen over the weekend)
