erika back to bed methinks, without a doubt! I would love to, but for some reason our bedroom absolutely honks which helped me decide to sleep on sofa with dd when she got up so early. Largely to do with it being a store room for so long and it has all been disrupted, DH has promised to sort it today.

ninja DD is up there. It is a good idea really, for many reasons, but one immediate one is we realised when moving that our bedroom needs decorating more urgently than we though, on account of a couple of large cracks in the wall from the loft work, and holes in the ceiling where they used hammer drills etc, and some enormous coffee stains easily hidden by our bed, but would not be by DDs bed! We can sort this after christmas and will be fine to do this with us in the room, but would not be happy with us in a new room and DD in a horrible room! Funny isn't it, all that money spent and I am much happier to spend it on her than us!

She loves it, it is perfect for her. The little annoyances for me up there, such as a couple of cubby holes which need not have been there are perfect for her to play and hide in, and one os big enough to slot her bed in. I am going to use some of the muslin left over from our wedding to create some drapes to seperate her sleeping and playing areas, princess like

Oh My Word. This baby is wriggling so much that i have just vomitted. And he continued to wriggle while i vomited, and he continues to wriggle now while my stomach wants to chuck up but there is nothing left! what an earth is going on! He is wriggling so hard it feels like my ribs are moving, like my cervix is moving, and all my organs. Its not a kick here and there. He has gone a bit nuts .

I had a coffee this morning, and some toast, but nothing i do not normally have, this is crazy...

it is really really uncomfortable.

YAY the first girl big congrats to everyone on births and engagement!!! i wonder if anyone is in labour now??? wish i was!!!although i keep swinging from bring it on to being a bit scared at the thought of the hours of pain!!

i called helpline number, put through to labour ward, had some patronising mw telling me it is normal, baby is likely posterior which means I can feel more movement and to have a hot bath.

Except, on thursday baby was back facing to my left side, and does not feel posterior to me.

He has calmed down. But now that worries me, as I have read that if baby is in distress due to cord wrapped around his neck he can show sudden significant increased movement immediately prior to stopping movement completely. So now I am panicking and also feel like some over anxious new mother. Which I probably am. Even DH thinks i am being over dramatic, the midwife knows best and all.

It was probably the coffee.

try and encourage baby to move again PAV with a nudge or whatever normally works!!just as reassurance he is happy!!! MW can be so difficult, it really annoys me when they dont listen to you and your concerns or take it seriously!! Im sure he is fine but the fact he made you sick and is moving so much when they tell u at this stage the babys movements are less dramatic, i can understand why u r worried! see how you feel but if you can stop thinking about it and are getting upset i would call again!! xxx

No, no movement but he is probably fast asleep after all that wiggling!

I do however have a very very very solid bump now from top to bottom. Major BH! Solid as a rock.

are you engaged yet maybe it was the baby moving down?? or in the process of moving down? is this your first? its mine so im completely clueless. but i had a bad night the other week couldnt sleep tummy becoming very tight and rock hard so whenever i moved i was in pain and slight cramps feeling sicky , when i went to see the midwife a few days later she said i was engaged so could be that??

missesse second baby. Head does not feel engaged, but then, if it has only happened in last hour, maybe i won't notice til i start walking properly! He was not engaged at GP appt on thursday - he was 'free floating' still perhaps he is just enjoying the freedom of floating around while he still can, if he is not intending on making an appearance soon.

When are you due? Can't be too long if head is engaged?
