I wouldn't worry too much Bonkerz - its amazing what little parasites they are (in the nicest way ) - they will take everything they need from you before you get any nutrients so hence why you are losing weight & the baby will be doing fine and dandy.

Just had a reunion of my last class (5 babies to cuddle awwww) which was lovely but reminded me of the hard work i've let myself in for!+

well just "lost the food i ate earlier! " I think i make it worse for myself though cos i tend to feel sick but lay down and hold it all in, now ive been sick i feel better! Dh is about as much use as a chocolate teapot and the most humiliating thing is i pee myself when im sick, much to dhs disgust and amusement!!

Hi ladies, just checking in before I retire for the night.
Been to all day dance event in Brixton and just got in so those clean sheets on my bed are calling me.

How are you feeling bonkerz? LOL at peeing while puking, I'm with you on that one. I find it easier therefore to puke in the sink so I can not lean over as much and cross my legs while I'm sick. I can't do being sick in the loo, makes me feel more sick! Hope the sickness part of the pregnancy ends for you soon. My energy levels are getting better so I don't feel quite as sick. Having said that had to get off the train on the way to Brixton today to wretch in the corner of the station - nice!!!

Glad im not the only one with bad bladder muscles then!!
Was sick again last night cos i tried to drink some milk, Obviously my baby doesnt want nice things so im gonna relax and stop beating myself up about it and will stick to what stays down! Like ive said before im not a small lady so i supose i have ample reserves of alot of things!!
Will make my mates jealous by telling them i can still lose weight by getting pregnant and eating 4 pckts of crisps a day!!

Hope all you ladeees have had a good weekend, obviously im the only one who has spent all weekend in her pyjamas!

Had a long chat today with ds and dsd and explained all about baby coming and feelings and why im so sick etc, We also had a listen to the baby which they loved so much. DSD and DS really took everything i said in today and ds even gave my tummy a kiss tonight and said night to his brother or sister, it was so lovely.
Better day for me cos managed to eat a very small roast dinner and kept it down too!!
Anyway, hope you are well.

In work falling asleep cause my lovely dog is in heat and we had another dog sniffing around last night which drove our dog mad (me and DP awake for most of the night)!!! so when i let our dog out for her wee this morning the other dog was still sniffing around! i jumped out of the shower and out the back with a mop in one had and holding on to my towel for dear life,

My doppler arrived on Sat and it is wonderful to be able to listen to my beans heartbeat. It is so reassuring (once I'd worked out which was the babies, rather than just listening to mine!!) I'm so glad I've rented one now.

Lovely weekend visiting family I've not seen for years. Didn't tell them about pg though as we had DPs boys with us and they don't know yet. Going to tell them in a couple of weeks & getting a bit scared now about their reaction. Hope it is good.

bonkerz sorry to hear you've been so sick, don't worry about eating stuff that will make you sick just take vitamins or something and stick to the crisps, your body must have it's reasons ...

sorry that I havent been around much,had a really gd wk last wk but come friday I kept feeling real dizzy and faint.....
I dont know what it is but im eating well,and trying to get enough sleep...

ebbie I am always done in by Friday and dp is annoyed with me as I always fall asleep at least once watching film etc, and have to ask whoddunit, so I wouldn't worry too much!

ds is fine, dp is recovering but still v spotty and the bump is HUGE. ds said 'hello' to it in the bath last night I think he is quite interested now tho wd still swop it for a bike hands down

george, good to hear your doppler is reassuring you too how old are dps boys? I'm sure they will be thrilled for you. my eldest is 13 and hardly reacted to the news.well not much gets a response out of teens these days..at least he wasnt horrified!!
minnie thats a funny mental image of you in the garden this morning!! and hope all is fine for you tomorrow at the scan.

I really cant wait to get it over and done with, and see bubs. As for me in the towel this morning !!!! OMG what am i like... I hope the neighbours were'nt looking!!! not a pretty site first thing in the morning. But if it happens again tonight the shot gun will be out, i really need sleep now!!!

Aggghhhh - just told my boss, what a relief that's over and done with me. Spent 15 mins assuring him I will be coming back to work.

Ninah - the music thing was at Brockwell Park in Brixton - Dj's were - Tony Humphries, Danny rampling, Norman Jay, express 2, CJ Mackintosh with live pa's by Michael Watford and Jocelyn Brown. Very good.

I've got another one and a talk with the genetic consellors, nervous isn't the word but just trying to be positive and take one thing at a time.

My boss mentioned something about me being at work at around 8 mths pg so I had to break it to him today that I'm leaving as soon as I can (mid Oct I think). No way do I want to face the tube once I'm beach ball sized. Can't wait to tell everyone else on Thurs. Ninah, know what you mean about people not noticing I'm so fat - think they must all be being really polite!
DQ, DPs boys are 8 & 13 but just a bit worried about the whole step family type of thing. Don't want them to feel like they won't be wanted anymore esp the little one. Love teenagers, they make me laugh so much. They really do just wake up one day & start grunting.
How is the eating going today Bonkerz? Much more staying down?

Can't believe we are all so nearly there to 12 weeks. It seems to have been a lifetime all the ups & downs we have had. So glad we are hanging in there.

Minnie, yes it was me that went to the BB eviction and yes i was at the end but it was my friend holding the shoe banner! Got autographs and best bit was saw dermot o leary who is a sex god!! Just know im gonna get varicose veins cos was on my feet for 5 hours friday night and have just got back from 4 hours on my feet at a weezer concert tonight!! Baby is probably cursing me cos of the loud bass music!

Eating wise have been a bit better today, made a tuna pasta bake and had some at lunch time and its stayed down but have just eaten 2 pkts crisps, did follow them with some melon though!!

I just knew it once i seen the shoe, DP though i was mad and didnt have a clue what i was raving about!. Good to hear your getting a little down, i love tuna when i am eating it and i just feel horrible after it. But i think i am like that with alot of foods..

George, thanks, but mine is not til tomorrow tho I am getting vicariously nervous for Minnie now. By the way I have a dss as well, he was 12 when we had ds and had always had his dad to himself but he was really really into a 'little brother' and loves him, they are a team. Like you, we did wonder .. can always remember breaking the news, his dad said O, you may have noticed Ninah has got a bit fat lately ! well we're having a baby and dss said Oh, cool! ... by the way, do you know the best burgers are from X not Y ..

Anyway, had a tireing weekend - what with dd's birthday party a family party (at which I got bitten to death by mosquitos) and working in the garden. Also sat my 1st exam yesterday so only 1 more to go - thank goodness!!!!

Can't believe I'm 15 + 2 today - the last few weeks seem to have flown by. Thought I might have felt a movement last night but I was just drifting off to sleep so I might have imagined it.
I'm quite lucky on the food front - I've been in the mood for lots and lots of fruit.

Anyway, hope your all well. Or at least just not feeling too sick in your case Bonkerz.

george, i think the dss will be fine,fingers crossed they take the news well.
ds and dd1 were 12 and 9 when dd2 was born and they adore her.(they arent 'officially' dhs children they are mine tho of course he treats them all the same) now at 13 and almost 11 they are more teenager-y and were like 'oh thats great' and thats it!!
sweetheart i too am craving mountains of fruit. last two times i did this it was a girl, so we shall see!
