Kayzr · 25/09/2009 10:20

I love Vosene!! I am allergic to most shampoo and vosene is the only stuff that clears my scalp up after I use something I am allergic too.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 25/09/2009 10:31

OOOH- Nat- we're also going to the fireworks i think- we told the DC's we would go again after we'd been last week!!

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 25/09/2009 10:33

Morning Glask and Tink

Vosene is the only one that does anything for me. It still stinks....!

Tink enjoy your quiet day

essenceofSES · 25/09/2009 10:34

You chatty alcoholic bunch!

Diege - thanks, I think I'll ignore the comments from last night that I didn't want to hear and focus on the nice ones from my boss! I told her I kept meaning to pop along to the next regional meeting with O and she said the next one is next Wednesday. She wanted to know what time I'd be there so she could plan the meeting around it

Bumps - if you're lurking, the meeting is in Maidstone. If you're free next Wed afternoon, I could meet you in town for a coffee?

As for alcohol.... my weakness is Bacardi and diet coke or a good bottle glass of wine

tink - still no more teeth here!
My SIL actually was quite too as her two youngest were over a yr before they got any!

Lightning - Vosene - yuk! If you fancy a change, anything with selenium in should work well like the one Glask said.

Wow! One advantafe to going out last night is huge success with expressing this morning. Nearly 5oz whilst I've been typing this!!

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 25/09/2009 10:36

LOL Glask.

Am hoping the weather holds, DH rang before and he was driving down the main road that leads to our new house, he said over the land it was dull and grey but a bit clearer over the sea, but that's a bit further down than Blackpool, more Southport way.

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 25/09/2009 10:43

Ooops morning Ses I'm with you, unless it's a proper 'not stopping till we can't remember we should stop' sort of drinking night, I stick to the old vino. In fact, have fallen slightly in love with a Gallo rose one at the moment, t'is a bit too easy to drink the bottle though

Actually the dandruff isn't helped because DS1 and 2 had nits last week (1 week back at school, he bought home colds, nits, attitude, and a library book that he has at home anyway, and he said "I thought it would be good to bring home one I have" Why? Would love to know how a 7yo's brain works....), I managed to get rid of the dirty little creepy things before anyone else got them, but haven't stopped itching yet, I am constantly scratching about!

Kayzr · 25/09/2009 11:12

Blossom Hill White Zinfandel is gorgeous!! I could drink loads of it!

Just been looking at the baby names thread and I now have a huge list of girls names that I just love!!

essenceofSES · 25/09/2009 11:13

Sorry to run off - big poo episode to clean up!

LOL at logic of bringing home a book he already has?!!

Right, must get moving as have to go into town. Have a good day everyone!

tinksbiggirlhasstartedschool · 25/09/2009 12:08

lol @ ds nat - my dd1 has brought home the attitude and she seems abit sniffly 2.
going to let her wear her boden clothes for first time tom

so knackered the school run after a week takes it toll

cantmummyhaveabreak · 25/09/2009 14:31

Tink- Imigine doing it 3x a day!! I have to take both in a morning, collect DD1 at 11.45, then collect DS at 3.15!! its a 30-45min round trip each time depending on how long it takes for them to come out!! DS always seems to be the last oen out and normally forgets his jumper/lunchbag/coat- he's a PITA and then i have to wait another 5mins while he faffs about getting it!!

Lightening- the weather seems to be holding out so far, we've had some grey dull clouds overhead but no rain. I forgot i'd ordered my food shopping to come between 7 & 9pm so if it isn't here by 7.30 then we'll not be going. They're normally here bang on the begining of the time slot though so fingers crossed for the same today!!

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 25/09/2009 14:35

Yep DH actually made it up to Blackpool for a job and he said it wasn't raining, fingers crossed it stays dry!

Don't know if anyone is interested but have just seen this Looks like a good deal Is a good shop as well, it's where we got DS1's bouncy castle from.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 25/09/2009 14:38

Oh Lightening- I so want one!! BUT i haven't got anywhere near enough room for it!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 25/09/2009 14:39

Have just listed loads and loads of stuff on ebay again.... fingers crossed i get good sales again- could do with some extra holiday cash!!

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 25/09/2009 14:44

I don't know whether to get one or not, DH and I were talking xmas pressies this morning, DS1 wants a laptop (TBH his PC has had it, DS2 has really mucked it up, but if DS1 get's a laptop then DS2 can do what he wants to it!) and I said a playhouse and swing/slide/climbing frame thingy for DS2. They had a smaller version of the trampoline but it was a waste of time, and it was wrecked within a month.

But it is a bargain, I'm not good at resisting them!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 25/09/2009 14:50

haha- we have a swing/slide/climbing frame thingy.... was the one at just over £100 from toyr R us and is fantistic- the Dc's love it.... will last them a few years but they'll have outgrown it by time its past it!!

Right off to get DS from school!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 25/09/2009 16:37

been V quiet on here lately....i'm getting into the AIBU threads again.....

Moosy · 25/09/2009 17:05

Argh I've got behind and can't keep up again!

Feeling crappy these last few days, heartburn all afternoon/evening, dizzy spells several times a day, very painful tummy muscles, a touch of SPD, and now DD2's got a cold so I'm tryng my best not to catch it! (moan over)

Any sign of AF yet Kayz/Diege or will we be hearing HONKS soon?

Oh, and I LOVE vodka and coke [droooool] and can't wait till this little thing pops out and I'll be able to enjoy a nice cold one pint

Kayzr · 25/09/2009 17:17

No AF here. I've had loads of heartburn though.

essenceofSES · 25/09/2009 17:28

Kay - definite What time is that test arriving?

Moosy - good to see you!

We had a good afternoon. Popped into town and got DS's passport photos done. Got 2 lots so he can have a British passport and an Irish passport. We're hoping to take him over to Ireland at the end of October for DH's granny's 95th birthday!

When we got home, our neighbour opposite was just getting home with her 3DC. She was kind enough to buy O a little outfit when he was born and I said I'd pop over from time to time and never have so I popped in then. She has DS 5.9yrs, DD1 4.4yrs, DD2 2.10yrs. She gave us a packet of biscuits as she said it is tradition for them to give something sweet when a new baby visits for the first time She said they are sikhs and will have us over for a full indian meal sometime

tinksbiggirlhasstartedschool · 25/09/2009 17:31

i bought dd1 her play house and 3ft trampoline in may she played on it loads for first few weeks. so a complete waist never wants to play outside on her own. hoping that dd2 will play with them next summer.

oh kay [hmmm]

didnt go outside into garden the whole of the 8 weeks holidays says to windy mummy or too many webs. she wont play by herself with anything u have to play with her!!

tinksbiggirlhasstartedschool · 25/09/2009 17:32

hi ses crossed posts. you neighbours sound lovely

essenceofSES · 25/09/2009 17:39

Hi tink They are!
I'm sure the playhouse and trampoline will get more use next summer when DD2 is bigger. Even if she's not old enough to play on them, she can be out in the garden keeping DD1 company.

Kayzr · 25/09/2009 17:45

The shopping is arriving between 7-9 tonight. But I'm not testing until Monday at the earliest.

essenceofSES · 25/09/2009 17:49

Monday??!!! Don't think I can wait that long
Where's Lightning for early testing persaussion??
