Cheers guys, I know it's probably nothing to worry about but can't help worrying a little anyway . My mum went 3 weeks overdue with me then was induced which just didn't work and finished up with stressful emergency c-section so I suppose that is lurking at the back of my mind. I sure it will be fine though, she is just doing things in her own time.

Ses - enjoy the pizza tonight. Really looking forward to meeting you and O on Saturday.

Kayz - sorry for another bad night.

bodenaddict · 16/09/2009 09:07

hi

poor u cant

kay ye 4 win

must dash off 2 jolly babies

cantmummyhaveabreak · 16/09/2009 09:19

morning again..... have rationalised my thoughts a bit since my post this morning- suppose being sick again has just made me doubt the BFN i got... Thing is, it really doesn't feel like a bug, in all other aspects i'm fine and well, just that smells make me heave and gag and i'm sick first thing in a morning..... JUST like my PG symptoms were....

Either way i'm sure i'll find out for sure soon enough. i'm pretty sure AF should be any day now if not here already really... Plan to take DD's swimming tomorrow so just my luck that i start later today, and be really heavy tomorrow!!

Good going on lottery win kayz- have never bought a scratchcard myself...

Ses- yes, the rest of us met at york in may so it will be only you and MMM, but she's got it a little easier than you with already knowing me. Really looking forward to it, though it may not be so good for me if i've still got this sickness....

Boden- enjoy your group.

MMM- you too, enjoy your group.

IDOB- dont worry about baby being late, it happens to most first babies, and i'm sure they wont let you go so far over it ends up like your mum had....[keep positive smiley]

Diege · 16/09/2009 09:47

Right, I'm bringing that pregnancy test with me CANT, although if it were me being sick I know that, by that stage, I'd be getting a bfp if that makes sense? I do remember how it was with Ruby though..please don't worry too much yet..99.999% chance the bfn IS a bfn
SES, enjoy your pizza night tonight!
Hi MMM, looking forward to meeting you on Sat - snap here with the early start - fingers crossed we have good boys!!
KAYZ, slug and lettuce would be fine for me, or should we stick with picnic?? Arghh, can;t make decisions..
Enjoy your class BODEN! Great to get out with babies.
IDOB - no pressure from your midwife then As others have said, loads of time yet, many babies don't engage until labour starts. You are doing all the right things though, so please don't panic!
GRUFF, like 'chobble' too . I got a coat for ds from H&M too - a green fleece one with orange lining - saw lots of very trendy ones too for when he's a bit older!
Right, hairdresser due here any minute, so better get the breakfast things cleared away!

Kayzr · 16/09/2009 09:49

Diege, Shall we say Slug and Lettuce or Pizza Express(not bothered) if raining and picnic if dry?

We could all meet at the train station and then decide depending on the weather.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 16/09/2009 09:58

Slug and lettuce or Pizza Express (again not bothered which) both sound fine by me. I'm going to be buying butties in York if we're having a picnic anyway- one less thing to be packing.

Diege- I was also thinking that if i'm PG enough to be sick i should be PG enough for a BFP- but yet i'm still being sick, and i'm 99% certain it's not a bug....

kookykid · 16/09/2009 10:01

Sorry I haven't been on. Seriously, how do you guys manage it?? It is great to be home but even with my mum and DH at home I never seem to have a minute to myself! Having been brilliant while I was in hospital, DD is understandably now wanting my attention and playing up quite a lot when I'm busy with DS. However, she is lovely with him and likes to help pick his outfit and help change his nappy, so I am hugely grateful for that.

DS is doing really well and making big progress and tolerating longer periods of time on his back. The cleft speicialist is hopeful that he might even start taking the odd bottle soon. I have to keep his hands covered otherwise he has a tendency to pull out his feeding tube. We haven't learnt how to insert them yet, so it means a trip back to the hospital. Am terrified he'll do it right before a feed.

Right it's 10.00 so DS needs a feed. Hope you're all well. Will try and have a proper catch up later.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 16/09/2009 10:04

Nice to hear from you Kooky, Glad DS is doing well!! It took me until about 6 weeks ago to get 'time to myself' back.

bodenaddict · 16/09/2009 10:39

Yay weather does look good . I'll bring some butties with me anyway - they'll get eaten at some point!
MOOS if you are there let me know about wrap as will be listing on ebay in the next few days if you don't want it
Right, J's nap time seems to have gone really quick today, have got nothing done! Oh, apart from my hair that is

bodenaddict · 16/09/2009 15:14

tumbleweed tumbleweed tumbleweed

not long now till dd1 starts school i feel excited

Moosy · 16/09/2009 16:25

Sorry Diege, yes please! I'll send you an email with my address

Enjoy your night out Ses, sounds lovely!

Kooky, DS's improvements sound good, it must be nice to see him getting better.

DDs are back from preschool, all tired and grumpy so watching a Fifi DVD - phew! DD2 has managed to have no accidents all day, until 2 minutes ago when she did an eNORmous wee on the sofa

Moosy · 16/09/2009 16:27

Oh, and I'm absolutely ballooning! I've put on an inch on my 'waist' in the last couple of days and I feel really full and sloshy. I've made an appointment with the MW to check I'm still the right size as I suddenly feel huge. Good news from the blood she took last week though, my HB is now up to 10 - woohoo!

Kayzr · 16/09/2009 17:54

DH is struggling to breathe. He is just ringing mil to see if she can take him if not it's 999.

bodenaddict · 16/09/2009 17:56

wow moosy !! sounds like u r doing well#

oh no kay hope he is ok

Kayzr · 16/09/2009 18:09

He has gone to the gp surgery. So just waiting to hear from him.

bodenaddict · 16/09/2009 18:15

hopefully he will be ok

essenceofSES · 16/09/2009 18:19

Kay - That sounds quite scary. Hope he's ok.

Boden - hello! Not long for DD1 now!

Kooky - good to hear from you. Your photos on FB are gorgeous!

Moos - glad your Hb is getting better. I'm sure you're MW will be reassuring.

I started reading Gill Rapley's BLW book today. Really impressed with bboth what it says and ease of reading.

Also pleased that DS's gums seem a bit better at the moment. We've had lots of lovely smiles again today

Tomorrow we're not leaving for York until after my cousin finishes work at 5pm so I'm hoping the M25 will be ok. My cousin's going to sit in the back with O and a bottle of EBM to hand incase we get stuck.
In the morning I have a friend coming over. She has DS1 age 5.9yo and DS2 age 1.4yo. She got married in May to a lovely man (not either of the boys' dads) and they're ttc. I think she may be pg! They will then have 2DC each from previous relationships plus one of their own 5DC!!! Diege, why does 5 DC make me think of you?

DH has just got home from work so I'll go and get ready to go out in a minute! I've managed to express over 5floz today to leave with him. Most I've ever got in a day so my boobies obviously knew what was needed from them and I didn't have to delve into my freezer stocks

GruffaloSoldier · 16/09/2009 18:55

Hello everyone!

LOL at 'chobble' I'm sure it is a word

Where has the week gone??

Ses - I have the BLW book, agree its great and GC doing very well on it. He ate broccoli today and seems to be eating more and more by the day.

Kayz - Hope DH is ok. that sounds very frightening.

Moosy - great news about your HB, sorry for big wee from dd!she will get there!

Exciting about wagon meet up - even if i am not going great about weather forecast!

Hi Diege - GC's H&M coat was brown and beige like a tartan sort of pattern with turquoise fleece lining. Its for 9-12 months, so Jan-Apr time.

Cant - hope you find out what is going on soon!

Hi Boden and KK! KK glad to see you, you sound like you are all doing really well!

I have had a nice couple of days with GC, wenr to a children's centre yesterday and they had the MAD academy - GC absolutely loved it, I think I have been depriving him of some serious fun!will def be going more often.

Also went to toddler group today where I used to take the 2 year old I looked after during pregnancy. I havent been back since I went on ML so they loved seeing GC and I was surprised to find two ladies pregant due in 4 and 5 weeks and 1 had just had a baby! Time flies!

DH went for an interview today for a senior position where he works. I am so nervous, we don't find out til tomorrow. If he doesn't get it I think I will have to go back to work next year, not sure but probably.Only part time though. Fingers crossed he gets it!

Kayzr · 16/09/2009 19:14

He is ok. He has got an inhaler to take.

Diege · 16/09/2009 20:07

That's a relief KAYZ! That must have been really scary for both of you x
SES, that friend of yours with (soon to9 be) 5 kids sounds a nutter Good luck with the motorway tomorrow!
MOOS, I await your e-mail! It will be perfect for a growing bump!
GRUFF, I know the exact coat! - a little boy I know has it and he looks so cute in it. Sounds like you're enjoying time with GC; best of luck with dh's interview! Will he def hear back tomorrow?
Off to do bottles now, my least fave job..then want to watch secret millionaire at 9. Life in the fast lane yet again

bumpsnowjustplump · 16/09/2009 21:48

Hello all. Back from holiday and all is well. DS is much better now after getting a virus and chest infection before we left. AB worked though and he is fine now....

DS is crawling everywhere and pulling himself up on the furniture... He looks so little. He has had his first crawling injury as well now (carpet burns on his nose and cheeks...)!!

Jessica loved the holiday and it was worth it so see her face all week she was so good....

I have no chance of catching up on all your news but hope you have a lovely time on saturday...

Huge congrats to kooky he is beautiful...
