Hullo people. I would like to post today and say that for the first time in about 3 months I have done something approximating nice parenting. I have played dollies with DD. I have let DS have his cousing round for the afternoon to play and done K'nex monsters with the,. I have allowed all 3 of them to do painting and not minded about the mess.

I am officially no longer the world's most lazyarsed parent. Woohoo. Mini mexican wave in celebration of me.

I love not having morning sickness. What it's possible to do in a day when you're not hugging the bowl is just so lovely.

Minicooper · 24/08/2009 19:30

Just to second mummyelk - carrie2010, I can't imagine having gone through the last 2 years without my NCT girls - I have no family in the country and they've been family and more. We still meet weekly, go to each other's birthdays, christenings etc etc and are now all expecting no 2 within weeks of each other. Honestly, they'll keep you sane, talking, getting out of the house and not questioning why on earth you didn't decide to stay childless In other words, you're all in it together. Or maybe I was just really lucky with my group!!!

MummyElk · 24/08/2009 19:50

Well done arcadie!!! you're much better than me - anyone else find they are suddenly superb at parenting when being watched?!! (like, on a train, or at the park, or in a shop)
And yay minicooper i do like it when someone agrees with me!! my NCT lot are all trying for or expecting within weeks of each other too - weird how it works out isn't it!!

Hello Everyone,
Sadly it is my time to say good bye to everyone. I lost my baby early this morning after bleeding for 3 days .

I wish you all lots of love, happiness and healthy pregnancies and easy births.

love

Mrs Snow

Carrie - another recommendation for NCT. Smaller groups than NHS and they actively encourage you to keep meeting up. Those girls have been like family the last 2 years - and I think I can speak for all of them when I say I don't know how we'd have got through it without each other...

It was actually a real factor when deciding whether or not to move - I only agreed when they promised they'd come and visit Wimbledon!

Hello all. I cant believe we have reached a new thread already and on 3rd page! I have been out of touch because i cant say anything positive. still worrying despite a good 9 week scan. now 10 weeks and today had really bad period like pains for about 2 hours. convinced myself was about to miscarry again. i think i should probably stay out of this thread until i can stop being so gloomy . I know we are supposed to get various aches and pains but i didnt think they should be so severe???
Right, promise to only post again when i have something nice to say

Pingpong · 24/08/2009 21:55

Mrs Snow How unbelievably horrible when you think you're past the danger time. I'm so so sorry and hope you're physically doing ok (can't imagine you're doing so great emotionally). Find nice supportive people and cry and grieve. Hugs.

Sariska · 25/08/2009 09:56

To echo everyone else - Mrs Snow, that's such awfully sad news. I do hope you have plenty of RL love and support. You certainly have plenty of the virtual variety. X
