beckymumof3 · 26/05/2005 09:59

Quinty - Quins How did that happen? Pretty dreadful prospect having to 'reduce' them. God, how do you make that decision? I feel for you. Let us know how you get on. My goodness - you must be showing massively??

ebbie22 · 26/05/2005 10:01

MINNIE1 · 26/05/2005 10:32

Quinty,
You should be offered home help, it may not be much. How are you feeling about the whole thing??

OP posts:
Quinty · 26/05/2005 12:05

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I have just posted on the other thread that I think this may have been a bit of a bad idea coming on here before we have made decision about what to do - it looks like due to previous cesearian we must reduce or terminate. Thanks for all your kind words and if things turn out differently I will let you know - thanks for not assuming I'm making it all up.
Lots of good wishes for healthy, happy babies for you all x

MINNIE1 · 26/05/2005 12:15

Quinty,
Please dont feel you have to leave, were all here for you. I really feel for you as i am sure this is not easy on you or your DH. If you have to terminate or reduce i would not think any different of you. Its a decision you and your family will make and everything happens for a reason.

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 26/05/2005 12:21

quinty dont worry about having to make that decisions and it affecting us iykwim...u are only going to do what is best for ur babies and u r faced with a horrendous choice.

afternoon to everyone else...not feeling too good here my back is in agony and also have terrible headache. Just feel like crying and i did beg dh to stay home but he couldnt cos everyone would have thought he was skiving to watch the uefa cup come home..which i can understand. ds has just fallen down the stairs and bitten his lip so he isnt a happy bunny either...just feel liking curling up and going back to bed . Also not helping is that feeling of nothing being there again..will i ever feel like ther is actually a baby?????

scully · 26/05/2005 12:37

Hope everything works out ok Quinty, I don't envy your decisions......
Nemo, I'm also feeling quite dodgy today, thought I was doing ok this morning but then the nausea hit about an hour ago, now I just want to curl up under my desk and tell the world to go away, but not quite so politely......

dramaqueen72 · 26/05/2005 12:43

moring ladies.
qunity wow, hope you are doing okay. my friend had to reduce triples to twins and it was very hard time for her. the twins are doing very well now and shes not got long to go.

ordered my doppler today, because i am determined to be positive about this pg being ongoing. well i figure the horrendous sickness must be counted as a good sign of hormones etc.

I've def lost my waist. eek.
june 6th (next scan) is taking ages to get here.
pg brain has kicked in tho, cant tell the number of stupid things i have have done lately. sigh.

scully · 26/05/2005 15:36

I'll be 11wks on Sat and my waist has completely disappeared and I've popped out at the top of my stomach as well as my waist if that makes sense I look obviously pregnant now, so much earlier than last time.
Still don't have dates for my scan or booking appt, should come through next week......may have to lose my temper if I haven't got anything in the post by then

george32 · 26/05/2005 15:56

I've been driving myself crazy shopping again! Trying to find something to wear this weekend with no luck (have I mentioned I'm off to the seaside tomorrow?)

LOL at pregnant brain kicking in DQ. I had a go at DP because he asked me if I was making dinner. I stropped round the kitchen grunting about why he couldn't make it and banging pots & pans together. How embarrased was I when he reminded me that, about an hour previously, I had offered to have it ready for when he got home - Whoops !

Sorry you are both feeling rubbish Scully & Nemo.
HURRY UP 12 WEEKS, THIS WAITING IS AWFUL!

Bonkerz · 26/05/2005 17:43

Spent the whole day worrying. Even came close to ringing EPU but decided that if it happens it happens. Have felt queasy today but not tired like normal (although did have lots of sleep last night!) Havent eaten much butdefinately dont feel as sick as i have done. Do you think you can get used to feeling queasy to the point you dont really notice?? boobs still abit sore and no blood or pain which is good. Got a horrid feeling its all ended.

Bonkerz · 26/05/2005 20:59

ok feel better now. Dh came home and started cooking his dinner and i havent stopped heaving!!! Have started eating some lemonade ice lollies to help ease nausea! Sorry

expatinscotland · 26/05/2005 21:01

Uggh. I made the mistake of eating some yoghurt. It came right back up. I've got that just-about-to-be-sick feeling. A night's just not a night unless I retch before bed.

MINNIE1 · 27/05/2005 08:33

Morning all,

Bonkerz,
I have that feeling its all ended but like you i could'nt eat a salad last night yuk!! so i spent the evening in bed.. glad all the same that i did feel like that..

Well i will be 9 wks tomor and DP is away for the wkend yippee, Hope to get the house sorted tomor, Once that is done i will relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

How is everyone this morning?? It is pi%%ing down here (great)!!!

MINNIE1 · 27/05/2005 09:54

ninah,
Ireland !!! We always have the rain... You a day after my scan i'm the 14th... Iwas counting the days this morning i have 18 days so you have 19.. I know its a long way but we'll get there..
Have you let the cat out of that bag as intellin anyone? I dont know what i would say if someone said it to me!

OP posts:
ninah · 27/05/2005 09:58

well once I denied it
the other times I swore them to secrecy but it's all getting a bit absurd
Yes,I guess the days will go fast. I am tempted to ring up and get an earlier scan, but then the gap til 20 weeks will be huge ...
I just want to be able to come clean now!

sweetheart · 27/05/2005 10:21

Morning!!

I've had hardly any sleep for the last two nights thanks to my new car and it's bloody faulty alarm!!!! I'm about ready to sent it through the crusher!!!

Anyway, how is everyone??

I've been feeling worse since I hit the 11/12 week mark - although I'm sure thats a good sign as with my dd I had a much worse 2nd trimester than 1st.

My waistline is well gone and I'm looking very pregnant now!!! Have had the odd funny look but most of our friends and family know so no awkward questions.

Congrats Quinny - gosh, can't imagine 4 little ones, I think you're very brave!!!

sweetheart · 27/05/2005 10:22

The wether here is fantastic by the way - we're all hoping to be allowed home at lunch time to start the bank holiday weekend early!!! YEAH!!!

MINNIE1 · 27/05/2005 10:26

ninah,
Would love to tell my family, dont care about anyone eles. My sister know as she is pg too so i have someone to talk to. Roll on 12wks

Also lovely weather here too. Managed to find something nice and loose to wear today!
Some nice man gave up his seat on the train for me yesterday - I took it greatfully as it was hot but slightly concerning with me only being 11wks tomorrow
