HI ineed and Insy. Sorry forgot you before.

Had a poor nights sleep last night. Up to the loo 4 times and just couldn't get back to sleep. I was having pains on my right side again but I know this is normal uterus pain at this stage.

No more plug gone since Wednesday.

I personally am hoping I don't give birth on Sunday when there isn a full moon because if there is any truth in it the labour wards will be full!!!!

My kids and dh have just drawn a picture of me. I have a huge tummy and very swollen feet that they have coloured in Green like Shrek! .

Miserable rain here today. Nice that its cooler but stuck indoors.

bigcar · 06/06/2009 12:58

Afternoon all

dreamy, have a lovely evening, hope the party goes well and baby stays put for one more day!

Thanks for all your kind comments on my photos I happen to think my lot are pretty gorgeous, not that I'm biased or anything Edward slept from 12.30 to 7.30 this morning!!!!! So we got a really good sleep in last night, doubt very much that will happen again for a while

These June babies are definitely on their way now ladies Can't wait for news, hoping for plenty more over the weekend

Naat · 06/06/2009 15:46

Hi lovely Juners!!!
Super quick post, as I'm on the car with everyone.

LittleS, you're my idol, woman!!! 2 hours!!! Oh my God, what a great birth!! So happy for you, so proud of you as well!

Thank you all so much for your messages of support for me today. I'm handling it OK, she keeps asking soooooo many nosy questions and DH keeps 'throwing back those balls'. She has no limits, girls!! IKm not showing anything though, poker face all the way... Aaaaaand breathe.

Will come back and post properly. Lots of waves!!

Afternoon all!

Well, I will not be heading into City Centre for any more shopping trips until after baby here. I walked from our flat to the mall (about 10 streets? Maybe?) and hurt every step of the way. Then had to walk back!! I'm home girl until I can push the baby in its pram!

Sounds like some people are starting to move along! Let's have some more babies, ladies!!

naat if it helps, imagine her as an animal in the zoo and you're observing her behavior for a paper!

loooouise · 06/06/2009 18:03

Yay, LittleSarah many many congratulations! Welcome darling Alexander. Sending big big love from Yorkshire to Scotland.

bunnymother · 06/06/2009 21:20

Evening ladies!!

Very very quick post from me - have been skim reading w delight all our news!

LittleSarah - congratulations and welcome to little Alexander! Am really hoping that I have such a fast labour!! Looking forward to seeing photos!

Doris - excellent news, well done - congratulations on little Annabelle Rose. And well done to your DH for picking up the MN language so quickly! Also looking forward to photos!

What lovely names everyone has chosen so far - nice to read the thread and think "ah, I like that name, its beautiful!". And great to see us "popping" one after the other...

I have been further "unplugged" but am hopeful that's the end and that our LO arrives v soon. My bet is also on tomorrow night, so perhaps I will even see one of you in the labour ward, what w the full moon and all!

Will read thread and reply properly tomorrow, but had to post my excited congrats!

And, of course, am thinking of you Effie and your darling little Rupert. As one of the wise Juners said, babies are such tough little battlers, aren't they?

Naat · 06/06/2009 21:30

Wow, Juners!! 2 babies on the same day!!!
Congratulations Doris and thanks to Doris' DH for bringing us such great news!!

Having contractions here, not regular but quite strong.

MIL was left at hotel at 7 and ctx started at 6.15, imagine my slight panic hypnobirthing relaxation was what helped me survive those 45 min. Now at home and waiting to see if this is it or another false alarm . Will keep you posted.

Tee, LOL!! Believe me, I was at the zoo hahaha

Hello to the rest of the juners. Shame on me for not answering properly.

xxx

Tee2072 · 06/06/2009 21:37

Good luck naat!!!

ermintrude13 · 06/06/2009 21:39

Congratulations to Doris, welcome to little Annabelle Rose and well done to Doris's DH for getting the lingo right so fast . How lovely that we're moving at last!

Bunny hope your unplugging pays off and Naat that you get either a good night's sleep after MIL visit or a little baby.

lol - just realised - LittleS's last post before the one she was in labour was agreeing with mine about how likely it is we'll all be 'late' - and she gave birth bang on her due date. What a well-behaved baby that Alexander must be .

Effie, hope baby Rupert is doing well.

night night all x

loooouise · 06/06/2009 21:49

Yay, congratulations Doris and hello darling Annabelle Rose! Thanks to thoughtful dh for keeping us the loop.

Thinking of you Naat, sending you labour vibes! xxx

chocciedooby · 06/06/2009 21:52

Congratulations Doris! Fantastic news. More June Babies....so exciting.
Lovely name too. Looking forward to hearing your birth story.

How are you doing Blueberry???

How is Rupert today Effie? Hope you are ok

How are you getting on Littlesarah? You must be over the moon today.

Roseability - Hope things start moving along for you soon.

How was the curry tonight Loooouise? Lauraloo - Any more niggles???

Naat - Hope you survived the day ok with MIL and baby didn't arrive today. Maybe tomorrow eh!

So many stong BH's this evening. Nothing regular though but sometimes they really make me anxious.

insywinsyspider · 06/06/2009 22:13

littlesarah huge congratualtions, looking forward to your update and hoping for a fast labour like yours!

dasiy tiredness is the worst, I am definitely not a nice person when I'm tired and turn into very shouty mummy, I rely a lot on friends and family and admire those that do it with less support - I'm definitly high maintenance

doris more congrats to you too! looking forward to the update

naat hope to hear from you soon too

effie lovely to have you back on line and hear your news, hope you get some sleep and kisses for Rupert soon x

Had my MW appointment today and everything fine except baby not even engaged - was hoping it might be thinking about arriving soon... with all these lo's arriving I'm getting impatient!

silkcushion · 06/06/2009 22:13

congratulations Doris and hello to little Annabelle Rose. Have to agree that these June babies have fabulous names and fabulous mummies of course)

Good luck Naat if it really is all starting and well done on surviving yr mil even if it isn't!

Hello to everyone else. Check in again tomorrow

lauraloo09 · 06/06/2009 22:14

bunny here's hoping the 'unplugging' will lead to something for you

naat hopefully ctx will become regular for you and soon you'll be holding your baby...and yey on you surviving your MIL visit

choccie I'm in the same boat as you strong BH but nothing regular yet Just ate a big curry and had my raspberry leaf tea and BH have became stronger but i dont think it will lead to anything tonight

I hope all you other juners had a lovely saturday and here's hoping more june babies are born overnight...sending positive labour vibes to all

MrsMcJnr · 06/06/2009 22:20

Hey ladies I thought I?d come back and see what?s going on lots I see!!!

Many congratulations and thanks to Doris? DH (and to Doris) for letting us know about Annabelle Rose fabulous news and a lovely name!!

Happy due date Daisy and Leaky

Blueberry ? thinking of you and hoping all is well.

Effie ? rooting for Rupert to join you at home very soon x

June ? let?s hope the babies make the most of the moon! Make the most of that nesting husband

Choccie ? thanks hon , I am feeling the pressure from friends and family to produce the goods I have to say, your thoughts on the labour wards being full due to a full moon are reciprocated here. There are 6 delivery suites at the hospital and when I asked at AN classes what happens if they are full they laughed and me and said it never happened

Bigcar ? what an incredible sleep from a baby of a week old! Lucky you hope it wasn?t a total one off!!!

Naat ? hope you got through the day ok! Sounds like baby Naat listened to your plea to let today pass first, maybe tonight?!

Laura ? sorry to hear you are so uncomfy, hope it?s not long for you.

Tee ? good plan on keeping away from the shops!

Looouise & Roseability ? how was the curry?

Hey Bunnymother Ermintrude Insy Silkcushion

Nothing really happening here, no more unplugging, some contraction like tightenings but nothing regular or strong ? ho hum!! Have shaved my legs etc and done my nails this evening just in case tomorrow is the day!!

Nemoandthefishes · 07/06/2009 03:46

congrates to doris and littlesarah and welcome to the new june babes!!!

Am awake and fed up back is aching and cough is annoying but know it is yet again another false alarm as none of the other 3 showed up without being evicted!!!Insomnia is such a killer..at least there is a valid reason for it once bubs is here

chocciedooby · 07/06/2009 04:22

Hi Nemo. Another Insomniac here. I don't normally suffer to be honest but I just can't seem to sleep this evening.

DH didn't come to bed until 1am and now DS1 is awake and was trying to crawl into our bed! Not sure what thats all about but I have been sitting with him since 4am. I am going to be so tired in the morning and its my turn to get up with the kids!

Maybe its this full moon business thats waking us?!

Nemoandthefishes · 07/06/2009 04:35

maybe choccie..lol
am lucky in that everyone else is fast asleep so at least I get some peace in the insomnia

Ineedmorechocolatenow · 07/06/2009 05:42

Congratulations to Doris (and her DH!)! What a beautiful name too! Hope it all went okay x

Effie - Hope that your little one is okay. Thinking of you all x

Well, no sleep here since midnight. My milk's in (I look like Pamela Anderson on steroids ) and she's been grazing all night. Now she's sound asleep next to me and I'm waiting for the 'shift-change' at 6 with DH who's crashed on the sofa. Then I get to sleep for a few hours.

We were inundated with guests yesterday, all bringing lots of fabby clothes for her. SIL arrived with 3 binbags of clothes, and my best friend is up today with 3 suitcases full. Methinks that Emily is going to have a fuller wardrobe than her mummy! The novelty of pink clothes has yet to wear off. I'd resigned myself to never having a girl and would walk quickly past all the stripy tights and gorgeous dresses to get to the clothes for DS.

In a strange way though, I'm a little sad for the DS2 I'd fallen in love with since the scan. I'd built him up in my head and could see him running round in the garden with his big brother. Does that sound odd? Don't get me wrong, I'm so thrilled to have Emily and I'm so completely in love with her, but I still feel a little bit sad when I'm packing up all the boys' clothes from the drawers....... or maybe it's my milk coming in and I'm getting all emotional! I am tres excited about being able to get a doll's house (I never had one as a kid) and cute dollies....

Hope you are all getting better sleep than us night owls.

Come on June babies!
