I told her today how i'd felt i'd been bullied into giving the formula and how it's just mucked everything up and that i was ready to discharge her from their care!! it wasn't so much her that'd bullied me but the other one and i was ready to put a complaint because of she did!! I've proved now that she just needed to be given the time to gain!!

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 10:16

Tink can you come to Reading?? We could meet for coffee and wispa's!!!

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 10:19

Hurray for fatter babies and potty poo's!!

Diege I can pick you up too , it actually doesn't add too much onto my journey it would seem, if you wanted to go and it's not too much hassle for you it's an option.

I'll have to figure out where you live Kayz and add you to my route, hang on a minute....

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 10:20

I'm in Pickering.

lardybump · 14/05/2009 10:23

sorky have mailed you sorry for delay

Sparklytwinkletoes · 14/05/2009 10:29

Yay Glask! I'm so, so pleased for you, I've actually got tears in my eyes! You've worked so hard, I hope you're feeling really, really proud of yourself!

Reading would be OK for me, I'd probably drive down though, so if anyone wanted to meet up first and cadge a lift, I'd be more than happy to have company? I've got quite a big car too so it would be quite comfortable

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 10:30

Crap you both live at opposite sides of the country.

I'm thinking I'll have to stay overnight in Reading, does anyone have anywhere to recommend for me?

Got the msg LB, thanks

Moosy · 14/05/2009 10:37

It'd cost me £45 to get to Reading by train, a bit better than the £124 it would have cost me to get to York!! I might drive instead if I have the car, but the DDs have never been on a train so it might be a nice adventure for them!

Reading
Saturday 4th July-sorky,kayz, moosy
Saturday 11th July-sorky(tricky),kayz, moosy
Saturday 18th July-sorky, moosy
Saturday 25th July-sorky,kayz, moosy

I can do August too if that's easier for anyone.

Moosy · 14/05/2009 10:38

Oh and hooray for your super boobies Glask!

glaskham · 14/05/2009 10:38

Thanks STT .... When i put her on the scales it said 2.0 but i was looking at it upide down and thoguht it said 2.60 (her weighing 2.58 last week) and thoguht we'd had another poor week... them i looked again, and even spun the scales round to make myself believe it!!! then i was throwing DD1 up in the air crying my eyes out in happiness!!! Yes i am VERY proud of myself and her!! As soon as the nurse left i phoned DH at work to tell him, then my sister, then my mum, then MIL!! all while the pc was loading up so i could tell you lot!!

Sparklytwinkletoes · 14/05/2009 10:40

Have updated FB re York and added my mobile no if anyone wants it...

Crikey, I've only just managed to sort myself for the first meet up and you're planning the second...

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 10:43

Glask, Here are some directions!! I love doing route planning. [wierdo smiley]

Diege · 14/05/2009 10:44

I have written your no.down STT . will be great to meet you .
BTW, do you think I should bring my hosp. notes with me or is that being overly dramatic? (I'll be 36 weeks)

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 10:45

Maybe bring them just incase Diege. York's hospital is meant to be fab for maternity!!

idreamofbeanie · 14/05/2009 10:49

Wow glask, that's fantastic!

I might come along to the Reading meet up too if I'm free (I think I have an NCT class on the 18th). I'll probably drive from York so I can also give lifts if anyone wants to cram into my tiny polo.

I'm really looking forward to the York meet up now. I can still get to Bettys a bit early and reserve us a place in the queue but can someone take my mobile number and call when you arrive or I'll be accosting every lady who's pregnant or has children with her shouting "are you a wagoner" . I'll stick it on facebook.

Diege · 14/05/2009 10:50

Hey a York labour would certainly get over the childcare worry (current anxiety) and think of all the birth partners I'd have!
