Good luck for the weighing Glask, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you both.

Tink I didn't realise they could go part time to school. I remember dd1 did have staggered entry so that the reception class wasn't at full capacity until sometime in October.

Hello STT have replied on fb.

We should definitely have a date where we can all meet up. Where in Reading should we all meet?

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 09:19

LB if he feeds again at night you'll get let-down to feed him but he prolly won't feed at night again now. Great news for you
We're in the house today too trying to sort the pooing too

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 09:22

Is Reading easier to get to than London?

Moosy · 14/05/2009 09:28

It certainly is for me! How easy is it for you northerners? Is there anywhere else that would be easier for us all to get to?

Moosy · 14/05/2009 09:29

Oh, and we had another miracle this morning - we had a little GOF for the first time in aaaaaaaaages! I feel pretty awful now though, too much exertion for the day already! DH is in a slightly better mood though

lardybump · 14/05/2009 09:30

You would have to change at London I think, let me check!!

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 09:31

I don't know where it is.....I'm off to look at a map

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 09:33

Hurray for GOF.
Dh seems happier things are returning to normal here too. Twice yesterday!

lardybump · 14/05/2009 09:35

sorky you would have to change twice on train.....

lardybump · 14/05/2009 09:36

kins cross and paddington

lardybump · 14/05/2009 09:36

kings

lardybump · 14/05/2009 09:39

xpost yay for gof moos, i am not brave enough yet!!!!

Diege · 14/05/2009 09:41

Morning! I'd be up for Reading too, although will have to investigate trains/changes etc as will have baby with me and have not so fond memories of travelling to London Euston with dd3 screaming her head off at 10 weeks.
SORKY, I would say yes Reading a little easier than London, having been to both, but that was a while ago and I'm no local!
LB, any chance you could express some milk and have it ready just in case ds wakes in night? I would say if he goes a week you could well have cracked it, and could be cruel and offer him cooled boiled water instead . I am hard though, so won't be offended if you're raising your eyes
Hasn't the York meet come around quickly KAYZ! Shall we finalise arrangements etc on wagon fb? I think so far we provisionally arranged to meet york minster and go to Betty's en masse? Did we arrange a time??

Diege · 14/05/2009 09:45

Sorky, I think if you go via manchester you can avoid going via London, by changing at Birmingham and somewhere else...(from memory!).Will have to investigate!

lardybump · 14/05/2009 09:51

i would also need to change twice...

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 09:53

Right have looked at map and trains. Will be driving down as trains look like a pain for me. Reading is more central than I'd thought, for some reason I thought it was just north of London

I'm presuming Saturday will be best again:

Saturday 4th July-sorky
Saturday 11th July-sorky(tricky)
Saturday 18th July-sorky
Saturday 25th July-sorky

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 09:53

Started a york meet thing on the FB group.

Will also be up for Reading probably. Depending on when and how much it'll cost me.

sorkycakey · 14/05/2009 09:56

Kayz I'll pick you up if you like?

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 09:57

Are you sure?

Diege · 14/05/2009 09:58

Thanks KAYZ!
Have the same problem change-wise on the trains, so may have to pass - only chance being if I can leave dc 4 with dh and other dds...will see how things go as baby may only be a few weeks by then!
Right, off to investigate fb!

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 09:59

I'm now checking fares etc for reading!

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 10:02

£59!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to go to Reading!!!!

lardybump · 14/05/2009 10:03

I will also drive as it takes twice as long for me on the train......

DD has just done a poo on the potty and is now dancing around the room singing poo on potty.... Now i need to get her to do it when she has clothes on......

Kayzr · 14/05/2009 10:05

We have been trying to potty train DS1. He won't do anything on the potty. He was wearing pants yesterday and sat on the potty for 5 minutes and as soon as he got off it he did a wee.

glaskham · 14/05/2009 10:05
