This is getting silly!!

The other lady here with me is lovely and 29 weeks with her 2nd. Had been bleeding due to position of placenta but all cleared up now. She's just waiting for dr to come and ok her going home. Someone else is on their way in though so I won't be on my own!

No way SES!! They're not fasting you as well are they?? Could you ask someone on the desk what's going on? The very least that they can do is to keep you informed .

Well I have been bad mummy supremo today . It is heavy rain here and I just can't bear to go all the way on foot to Jo Jingles and back in it, then onto school...made a pretend phonecall to Jo and he told me that some naughty boys had smashed a window and the rain was coming through so class was not on this week . Sun came out shortly after, so I got the waterproofs out and we were all ready to go, but dd refused to put the trousers on...so I (gratefully) said no trousers no class...She doesn't seem that bothered but still...

Dr just been!!! Took all of 5 mins for him to say "You're not going home" "it will have to be a CS" "it won't be before Monday"

How annoying SES! At least you are in the right place etc, but what a pain having to stay in over the weekend!! Hope dh spoils you with lots of trashy mags and chocolates. How are you feeling in yourself? Are you having any niggles etc??

Absolutely no BH or anything! Feel fine just getting annoyed with this head pushing out my right hand side and feet tickling my fanjo!!

Ses really feeling for you, I can remember just how uncomfortable it is, and DS3 was only breech/transverse for a matter of days. And I remember well the waiting for docs/cons/anyone else who fancied a ponder at my fanny! LOL Have you got the doings thing with the telly/internet/phone set up? Saved my sanity that did!

Am on borrowed time, friend due round, am hoping beyond hope the wine doesn't open just yet, we've already said it will be an 'our night' tonight, don't think even I could handle it from now till god knows what time in the morning!

Have also given in and put DS2 to bed, he is taking 2 hours plus to go to sleep at night, so yesterday I thought, bite the bullet, cut out the daytime nap, except he then fell asleep in his dinner last night for all of 10 minutes and still didn't go to sleep for an hour and a half last night (remember I said DH was going to be late? By the time he got back I was ready to climb the walls!) and in amongst the typical paddies he'd been handing out like smarties all afternoon and evening, I decided he needs his day time nap for now!

Ah door bell, must go, Ses, am thinking of you more than I care to admit! Will try and get back at some point, keep stong sweetie xxxxx

Oh, Ses, I'm sorry you have a weekend in the hospital ahead of you, but hopefully you will get some time to relax. No advice, just hugs!!!!!!!!! Make that DH take care of you and family visits in small doses!

I think I've said before that I've always wanted babies rather than a career but just didn't meet the right guy until 4 yrs ago. It feels like what I've been waiting for for more than a decade is finally happening

Hey Ses, it might sound a bit cheesy but I think the most important part of being a good parent is actually caring that you are doing a good job and wanting to do the best the can for your LO and you definitely have that in spades. That's what I'm telling myself when I'm worrying about whether I'll be a good mum. I'm sure you will cope brilliantly and the wagon is here for support, advice and rounds of tea with brownies

(okay I can't do advice but a chat over brownies is right up my street ).

I'm fine, but starting to get uncomfortable. I felt really well in the first part of the day yesterday - and now I just feel like a big fat blob, with a backaache! I've been getting 'Whoa, you're really pregnant now' type comments for the past few days too Makes a gal feel all sorts of pretty, don't it?

LBOT - I've had some days where I've felt really fat, awkward and uncomfortable and other days where I've almost forgotten I'm pg! It does come and go a bit but it's all good and means you're making a healthy baby

Lovely holiday snaps LBOT, esp the giraffe pics!

Just back from shopping. Still not enjoying shopping pram combo Feel relieved to get back to car. So annoying when non pram/wheelchair users use the lifts automatic doors etc. Suppose it just takes some getting used to. Guess it will be easier when I am not feeding so often as locaitons to stop and BF are the focus!

Mustnt moan as I know Im fortunate to have time to go out shopping

I did get a wave of Tink/Diege-shopping-vibes and got some lovely items for DD from H&M

Oh and HV weighed the small giraffe this morning and she is now 10lbs 10oz, so gained 8oz since last weigh in, and is now only 2oz of her birth wt. Am thrilled!
