Its not a constant pain haven't had any sharp stabbing pains since last night. Think i'm just more aware of any ache since finding out.
I will ring nhs if it gets worse or constant.

Hello! My day at work flew by today! Think the two whole days of sitting around doing nothing worked a treat!

Re.the prunes. I make a breakfast compote that is made up of prunes/ apricots/ apples/ pears. You boil it up in water for about 5 mins and I add it to DS's muesli etc. It is probably a good way for us pregnant ladies to get prunes into us also. Plus apricots are very high in iron. But DS eats it happily and so do I - is delicious! Just a suggestion!

Welcome to Esmeanddante - congrats!

Londonlottie - coming your way. Sorry you feel so wretched. Mine is nowhere near as bad as that.

Laurawantsababy - the preggie pops have defo helped me, but think I am the only one to try them thus far.

Biccy - I can understand why you are annoyed, but it is quite sweet of him. Agree with you, if you downplay it, your DD will forget all about it.

Hello to everyone else! .

mowmi · 08/06/2009 18:56

Thanks Ladies - You've made me feel a whole lot better. For those of you feeling poorly -I hope it passes quickly for you!!

Still in office - poo! Hoping to leave soon...must log off now.

Biccy · 08/06/2009 20:30

oh, I see!

lilacpink · 08/06/2009 21:06

Wow, this thread is still moving along really quickly.

Despite feeling ill pretty much all day and night and being sick ~ 3 times a day I'm still knicker checking too. Funnily enough even after I had a scan I thought later the same day, perhaps I could take another test to check .

I feel awful, like I've been poisoned at the moment, evenings are definitely the worst! [sick green emoticon]

Seeing my midwife this Weds, she had lots of common-sense advice, was great with DD and visited us most days after birth for many weeks (DD had v. v. bad colic from birth to week 7, and we really struggled), she also called me after my Molar Preg as I'd had an appointment booked in with her, and she said she didn't want to just cancel, she wanted to phone and check I was ok. I think I'm very lucky to have her. I had the opposite experience when her colleagues visited when she was on leave; so much so that my DH wanted to ask one of them to leave!

Anyone picked up there free bag from Lloyd's pharmacy (from Emma's Diary)? Is it worth getting?

Liskey · 08/06/2009 21:07

Hi Ladies - thought I'd wander over and join this thread? I've left it a while before risking joing this thread as I feel very scared about another mc\mmc.I'm 35 and had a mmc last August with my first pregnancy.

I'm now 8 weeks pregnant again due 17/01/10.

lilacpink · 08/06/2009 21:14

Hi Liskey, congrats on joining here. I had a similar thing to a MMC last Oct. It's great to join an antenatel thread isn't it

Biccy · 08/06/2009 21:17

Hi Liskey, I recognise you from one of the TTC threads. I understand how you must be feeling scared. I have been a nervous wreck today as I approach the 7 week mark tomorrow (when I miscarried in Feb). I am too nervous to get out my pregnancy book; haven't told the GP or midwives I'm pregnant. So scared that admitting it officially will spell the end. But I was starting to feel out of place on the TTC threads... at what point was your mmc? Do you think you'll feel a bit less scared after that? Are you having an early scan?

Oops, thought I hadn't pushed the button - but obviously had...

Liskey · 09/06/2009 08:07

Cheers Lilacpink and Biccy - nice to see you both here too!

I had a slight bleed at 6 weeks had a scan at EPU and then a second one which found no heartbeat later so I ended up having a medical mc at 9 weeks - very grim. So I've passed the point of last time - myself and DH are still worried though - we saw midwife on Friday and couldn't speak about later things as we kept saying we need to get past the 12 week scan first. We're trying not to get excited this time.

I think you need to register with your midwife soon though Biccy as ours wants to book in from 8 weeks for the scan and everything - seemed very early to me.

Biccy · 09/06/2009 09:04

Morning Liskey. Am feeling sick, and exhausted, and bloated this morning... so I think I had better be brave and pick up the registration form from the GP on the way home from work today. You're right, I think they want to know earlier than they used to, and I think they try and do a 10 week scan here, so you're right, I ought to get on with it. Just silly superstition.

alibobins · 09/06/2009 09:19

Off to Gp at 9.50 still got a few niggles in my pelvis and hip area on my left side

Biccy · 09/06/2009 09:41

Good luck alibobins, let us know what GP says.

Gp had a good feel and said everything feels as it should and its just muscle ligament pain.
Roll on a week and a half till I hit that magic 12 week mark but don't think i'll relax until I've had a scan.

Biccy · 09/06/2009 10:33

Jolly good! Still think it was a good idea to go.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 09/06/2009 10:56

Hi everyone may I join?

I'm 7+4 today with our first bubba and we think due on 20th Jan but will definately know after scan as we had MC and no AF in between. When i had MC we though i was 7 weeks but scan put me at 5 1/2 weeks maximum and no heartbeat was seen. So i think were just past the mark of previous MC.

Liskey feel a bit awkward being on here dont want you to think im following you, found this thread and your on it. . I'll sod of if ya like LOL

I'm taking this one step at a time, first step was midwife, now next step is scan mainly to see if theres one or two in there, as im a twin and DH mother a twin also.

FifiForgot · 09/06/2009 11:12

Hi all

Have just come back from the GP having had low abdominal pain for the last few days. She thinks everything is ok but can feel a "mass" on the left hand side. She wants to rule out an eptopic pregnancy, so I have to go for a scan at 1.30 this afternoon.

I am in bits, I am terrified that this is all going to go wrong and DH is 2 hours away at a meeting, I can't get hold of him and he travelled with a colleague so can't get back, even if I can get hold of him.

I thought everything had been too easy this time - keep your fingers crossed for me.

timmette · 09/06/2009 11:15

Fifi I hope everything works out for you - it may be a cyst I have one on my left ovary. Fingers crossed - at least you are getting it sorted out.
