I've just had to call the triage ward and my GP. I mentioned the other day that my neck was a bit sore, but I now actually can't move my head and can barely lift it. Tried to eat breakfast and can't open my mouth. My shoulders are so swollen at my neck that I look like Herman Munster

I asked for a home visit and the receptionist said I'm not a priority. Well I know that, but honest to God how am I going to get to the surgery with two toddlers and a husband who can't drive?

tummum - how frustrating. Wish I had a sensible suggestion for fixing the dishwasher but I don't, sorry. Back to bed to start again might not be a bad idea!

Blotted sounds terrible. You really have had a crap time with pregnancy, haven't you? Would you be able to take a taxi if DH looks after DC?? Hope they can give you something to sort it out. (((hugs)))

Thanks also for the advice on the D/W. The washing on empty and emptying the filters seems to be working. I just need to fix all of the baskets so that they actually move rather than sit there and squeak. SIgh.

Have just spend a whole hour crying my eyes out whilst writing letters to my best friend, her groom to be and her other bridesmaid for her wedding day on 3rd May which I'm not going to be able to attend. Am so gutted about it, but there is no better reason for me not to be there, other than to have a little bundle of joy that we've been waiting 3 years for!! Sniff, blub, sniff. Need another box of kleenex.

Even if I'm still in hospital on 3rd May, I'm going to wear my full wedding regalia, I'll follow the order of service and sing along to the hymns. Maybe they'll discharge me quite quickly...

Feeling exhausted ( no change there then!) this morning. DS awake at 5.55am. DH no where to be seen - he'd gone into work already!!!!! Its a bit stressful for him at the moment still but that is ridiculous especially as he didn't get back till 9pm last night. I just hope he can get back at a reasonable hour as I could so with no having to do bedtime on my own again, especially with such an early wake up call this morning. I could do with a nap now!!

MW appointment later. Will be interested to see if am still 2/5 and what she says about a sweep.

I'm not sure but I think I've been "showing". TMI alert but if can't share with you, who can I share with? Have had heavy discharge over past week, perhaps more. Its thick and a greeny yellowy colour. There was quite a bit this morning but theres been a fair amount recently. Is the show different from losing the plug?

I've got my sweep today, so I've been doing some nesting in the hope of making it work. Luckily the window cleaners came this morning so I could vicariously nest through them!

On the downside, my car was broken into last night and miraculously, nothing was damaged and nothing was taken. I must have disturbed them on one of my many trips to the loo as they left behind DS's buggy and car seat and also my gadetty thing for connecting my ipod to the stereo. I also had an expensive fountain pen in the glove box which they left behind.

They left my swim bag (containing 2 damp towels, costumes and nappy ) outside our next door neighbour's house. I found it at 6.45am when I went to the shop, and they thought I was coming up their drive to tell them I was off to hospital!

Anyway, I am being pulled off the sofa to play fuzzy felt...

wow, reggiee, bet she's in right now! this is so exciting. we're sure to have a couple of announcements in the next couple of days
if not today.

This is my last day "working" and I have to write 2 newsletters, 2 sign off reports and produce all content for our project intranet site, hmmm not much chance of that

Now is anyone else experiencing really painful kind of burrowing pains in pelvis/fanjo. They take my breath away literally and thought about llare last night as I was whining into my own pillow. Happening this morning too - enough to double me up - didn't have this with Lotti???

Little girl born 5.53 this morning 8lb 3oz !!!!!!

Still no news from Looby or DiveDaisy - ooh the suspense is just a killer and now Reggie has joined them unless she is just sleeping after being awake all night.
And it sounds like LadyH won't be far behind - good luck today

Gert2a good on you for planning to wear your wedding regalia in hospital - I hope that includes a big hat !!

Llare that was a strange break in glad nothing was taken although it still feels violating when someone has been through your stuff. Hope the sweep goes okay today - report back on if Paracetamol helps etc.

Blotted hope you get sorted darling - neck pain is awful and you never realise how much you move your neck till its wrecked! See what your doc says but I would really recommend seeing a chiropractor if its muscle/joint related - worth every penny IMO

ladyhelen, does sound like a show. but do keep checking for colour: if it's too greenish, call MW to check as it could be meconium (?) so they might want to see you.

I tried the nipple stimulation thing this morning. I was awake about 6.30 couldn't go back to sleep and thought 'Oh well, why not?' To my big surprise I started having some good tightenings. They did wear off after I got up unfortunately, but I'll definitely try that one again! Maybe in combition with assaulting dh

Thanks for your thoughts everyone, I'm seeing the GP this afternoon at 2. NHS Direct nearly had a fit when I told them the GP receptionist said I wasn't a priority. I'm floating away on my codeine cloud now so I'm going to try and get some sleep.
