divedaisy I'm weirdly flexible!

To see the photos you need to be a member of the facebook group. If you email me on llareggubmn at gmaildotcom with your facebook details I'll find you and invite you to the group.

divedaisy · 11/04/2009 21:46

llareggub - I already emailed you on 29 March. I found my log on details and I have a friend request - could it be from you llareggub?? What are your RL initials??? Would you want me to email you to discuss??

llareggub · 11/04/2009 21:53

I remember now! You emailed me and said you didn't have an account yet, and you'd let me know when you did. I don't think I've sent you a friend request, but I'll try and find you now I know you are there! Second letter of my first name is "e" and the second letter of my surname is "l." Sorry to be coy but I know a few RL people who post on mumsnet and I'm pretty sure a work colleague has rumbled me!

divedaisy · 11/04/2009 21:54

Febes · 11/04/2009 22:01

Just watched little miss sunshine too. I've also spread easter eggs around the house, so I better go to bed now, because I'm sure the dcs will wake me up bright and early to show me their finds

Hoping for a good deep sleep uninterupted with baby bump kicks, restless legs, heartburn, loo trips, bad dreams, snoring, thirst, spd pains, hunger etc etc

Jennster · 12/04/2009 07:31

Morning ladies. Just spent a while catching up. Of course the night I fell asleep at 8pm as I read dd a story, is the night she had nightmares about buzzy bees and crickets and so got a particularly disturbed night. Dh is starting his sober month before birth a little later than usual because of the bank holiday (which I don't blame him for actually) but as a result was snoring like a trooper last night. Have been awake for ages now and of course this will be the morning they all lie in.

llaregrub those swaddle wraps look gorgeous, but I went with the cheap cotton ones. One for the wash, and one for on. They look a faff to clean and dry, and far too expensive to buy two. I might go back though and have a look for the bags.

Jennster · 12/04/2009 07:43

They're all still asleep! Why can't they do this on days I'm trying to have a lie in.

FiKelly · 12/04/2009 08:04

wow new thread and page 4 already! not had a chance to post as dh and I have been carrying on the re-organising , sorting etc. ds's room is nearly empty now.. and the room we're moving him to is empty of our stuff, dh has just got to take ds's old cot bed apart, move his black-out curtains in, the chest of drawers and his bed. I'm having a day off from sorting as cream crackered from yesterday.

I actually packed my hospital bag last night and labour stuff. just got ds's overnight bag to do and a few snacks for me to buy.

in the sort out I discovered some of the fitted sheets I'd just washed are for a moses basket. I must have been given them with some baby things we were given as we don't have a moses basket. if they are of use to anyone let me know and I'll post them to you. there are 2 in white, freshly washed and are lovely quality jersey fabric.

dh is off fishing for the am.. I'm off for a bath then while ds is playing I plan to catch up on everything I've missed.. with the laptop. back on later this am x

divedaisy · 12/04/2009 09:23

Good Morning. It's Lego tidy up day today in my house. DS bought another Lego set yesterday and I am not allowing him to open it until the rest of his Lego is put away - ie all the wee bricks lying all over the floor!!!

The Easter Bunny came to him too in the middle of the night - for the first time! I was quite annoyed at his teacher who told him some story about the Bunny and therefore he was expecting an egg... now don't get me wrong - he had been given a choice of an egg or Lego - and he chose Lego and he happenend to get the pressie a few weeks ago when he was having a sleepover at his Nan's, and he knew he wasn't getting anything else from me. Then the teacher spouts this story that I've never told him and all of a sudden I've to produce eggs!!! It's not the value of the eggs but the principle that I'm annoyed about... We do understand about Easter and he does get eggs - but it was this Bunny story and the expectation of another 'mini santa' thing happening... is this unreasonable???

divedaisy · 12/04/2009 09:25

Jennster - did you see the swaddle wraps I found in Smyths Toys - they are £9.99 only. I posted a link to them last night.

FiKelly - what do you want for the moses basket sheets??? I could use them if you still have them...

divedaisy · 12/04/2009 09:28

Despite all I ate before going to bed last night I still managed to wake up around 4am starving... gonna sort breakfast for us now - complete with Pink Grapefruit Juice which for me is an absolute MUST HAVE!!!

Blottedcopybook · 12/04/2009 09:45

Morning all! I'm staying in bed today for the most part, I spent an hour scrubbing our bathroom yesterday after two hours wandering around Wickes and toddler-wrangling whilst DH faffed about, THEN I hosted a toddler playdate for four hours before driving into Glasgow and back to pick DS1 up from his Dad's house. Tried to get up off the sofa to go to bed last night but my back and pelvis worked in sync to make my legs stop working. So, although I slept pretty well last night I'm having a lazy day.

I am actually about to batter DS2 though. Anyone else with 3 year olds here? He's usually a really amiable little boy, very happy and chirpy but he's started this utterly ridiculous overreaction to everything - there's no build up to it, he goes from happy cheery to screaming at the top of his lungs in anger/frustration in a second. It's actually frightening the bejesus out of me and sends my stress levels through the roof, I get startled and shout so he cries/screams even more and I end up putting him in a time out until he stops.

Between that, hubby not getting me an Easter Egg (I didn't expect one, dunno why I'm disappointed) and the "But whyyyyyyyy?" rhetoric I'm pretty glad I'm staying in bed!

Febes · 12/04/2009 10:08

morning I'm trying to type with finger puppets on.
DD slept in till 8.45 this morning and although I woke earlier I must have fallen back to sleep so we had a lovely sleep in.
