Starting to feel a bit better but still getting a bit over tired and some nausea. When does the famed ?blooming phase start??

I finally went to yoga yesterday ?I had forgotten that it?s actually quite strenuous isn?t it, even though it was a much gentler version tailored for pregnancy. I was tired all afternoon though. I can really feel it in my arms and bum today, which is good news as I really don?t want to turn into an enormously unfit blancmange.

For those of you who have done pg yoga before, how many classes a week did you attend and how far into your pregnancy were you practicing?

bliss I am really shocked at your numpty neighbours. Incredibly shortsighted.

littlejay and blondie I am now into maternity jeans as well, I?m not really ?showing? as such but everything is getting a bit tight and uncomfortable around the waist. I have some nice tops which are forgiving around the midriff so hopefully I can last in those for a good few weeks yet before I have to buy some proper maternity tops.

HC have a fab Easter break.

Flamesparrow what on earth is a Hot Milk bra? Thanks v. much for nappy info btw.

LittleMissBliss · 09/04/2009 13:07

sammysam Well done your dd, sound like its going well, long may it continue.

Thankyou HumphreysCorner and Willmouse.
We have two more viewing today , so looks like their is lots of interest in the house. Dp wants to drop the price and we had a row about it yesterday because i flat refused. People will always put in a cheaky offer so would prefer a higher starting point.

Our Garden is nicer with lots of high trees to stop neighours overlooking, where as they have small shrubs and are over-looked. We re-plastered all the artex ceilings when we moved in, we have a private drive and stand alone garrage. Where as Their garage is ajoined to the detached house next door and a shared drive. But they do have a newer kitchen so that may sway it for people. So we may have to get some new doors and handles for the units now. We were hoping that we wouldnt have to bother. Oh well fingers crossed for this afternoons viewings. The house has never been so clean and tidy just hoping DP doesn't get too used to it.

Flame very!

hot milk you need to search on there for stockists.

Not cheap, but I know that my cup size doesn't really change for b/feeding so figured it was worth it.

LittleMissBliss · 09/04/2009 13:20

*there not their.

hackneybird x-post, oh pregnancy yoga sounds like a good idea might look into some local classes feel i should be doing some exercise!

Hot Milk are a sexy maternity and nursing range! So you don't have to feel frumpy whilst pregnant of breastfeeding!

I'm going to one in xchurch LMB but thinking it is a bit of a trek for you. I want to do the 7-8 class as it will giv eme time to do dinner etc, but she wants me to take the 6-7 one as there are more at my stage and it makes the classes easier. can see her point, tis just frustrating

patmum · 09/04/2009 13:43

LMB as a potential purchaser (oh if we could only find something that we liked) stick to your guns. In this climate, as you said people will put in a cheeky offer anyway. If you're getting people through the door then you aren't particularly over-priced.

As for the kitchen, beware spending much money as it's definitely one area that people like to make "their own". You could try asking for feedback from the estate agent get them to ask viewers (after the event) if the kitchen put them off?

As for Yoga hackneybird I went once per week last time until about 10 days before the birth. Needed to do more often really. This time there are no classes near me so I've bought a buddah bellies dvd so that I can do it at home but also do it more regularly. At least that's the intention...

Flamesparrow · 09/04/2009 14:23

won the dress I was bidding for on ebay - same as the black one I have for this wedding but in bright blue - ideal for summer with flip flops. I will glow this pregnancy.

hackneybird · 09/04/2009 14:51

Flame I LOVE winning auctions on ebay. Yay for your dress.

Flamesparrow · 09/04/2009 17:25

I've never been one to sit there until the end before, but I got slightly hooked

littlepea72 · 10/04/2009 07:13

Hi everyone, havent been on as i havent felt to good. MS comes & goes, but at least its not anywhere as bad as it was. Im finding my bed so uncomfortable now, even the pillow feel hard, think its times for a little shopping!

LMB...being married into the army i have moved 8 times in 6 years. Reading the differences between the 2 houses, yours sounds like the better buy. I would rather have an older kitchen, its the one thing that most people want to change anyway, and doesnt cost that much to put one in. Plus i would rather have my own driveway! As for the cup & saucer ride...who told you!! lol....I was on it!

Sammysam...i remember we got the potty that flushs, it was a nightmare, everything went down that potty! We lived in Canada when DS was ready, the weather was so good that he ran arround outside without a nappy, but copied other children, so that helped. I think something just clicks with them when they are ready. I hope its going well for you.

Hackneybird...i too am wondering when the blooming phase will start! I wish it would hurry up!! lol...

HC hope you are having a great time at the caravan!

Thank you all for the advise about my blood tests, you are all right, and i will trust that the doctor knows what she is talking about. Not much i can do until i see her in 7 weeks time, so im not going to get stressed out about it. But it does make you start to think about what would happen. You think the worry you have before your first scan will go away....it sooooo doesnt! There is always something to keep you going. At least the first time you dont have a clue what is happening lol...

Hope you are all well....the weather here is in the 20's so we are off out today....no cup & saucer rides i hope lol....

LittleMissBliss · 10/04/2009 11:56

We have an offer! Its 25k under the asking price cheeky buggers but its a start! There are also another couple interested who have asked to be informed if there is an offer on the house. So hopefully they can start a bidding war and who ever loses can have next door!

Crap better start seriously looking for a house now as we've said no forward chain and will have to move in with the parents untill we buy our new house!

bring on the bidding war LMB

Treats · 10/04/2009 16:09

Hi everyone!!

God it's been ages since I've been on here. sorry for long absence but it's been a busy couple of weeks.

Good to have had the distraction though, because it took my mind off the gastroschisis situation. But we had our follow up scan yesterday with a more senior consultant, and she said that she couldn't see any evidence of an abdominal wall abnormality. So Baby Treats is OK!! DH and I very relieved - as were our parents. It was great to see him/her on the scan again. This time we saw a face, which was a little unnerving actually - quite alien-looking. Hopefully their looks will improve before we meet them in October. .

Was actually sick the other day! My first sickness - I feel like I've won my pregnancy spurs and I can look you all in the eye again! Haven't had anything since. Saw that someone on else on here (sorry, can't remember!) was saying that they'd spent the first 12 weeks eating everything in sight, but had now lost their appetite. I'm in the same situation - since about 13 weeks (now 14w3d), I haven't been nearly as hungry as I was.

Bought a pair of maternity jeans today - Red Herring. Does anybody have a pair from here? Tried on these and Jojo Maman Bebe jeans and preferred the RH ones. Enjoying being at home today in my nice comfy trackie bottoms instead of workwear.

They've also just opened up a pram store on our local high street - Bugaboos, Quinnys, Phil & Teds and so on. Think DH and I will be paying a few visits......

LMB - glad you got an offer on your house. Sounds like a cheeky offer to me, because everyone thinks the market is on the go slow at the moment and sellers must be desparate to sell. I would hold out for a higher price if I were you. Not that I'm a property expert

Glad you won your dress Flamesparrow

littlepea72 · 10/04/2009 17:15

Glad to hear everything is ok with baby Treats!!! Thats a weight of your mind im sure. Lucky you just being sick the once, we wont hold it against you lol....once is enough for anyone!

LMB, what a cheeky offer! But at least you know there is interest from a couple of people...roll on higher offers!

Wanting to eat everything, but not able to eat anything! And if i do manage it, gaviscon isnt far behind lol....

KKKKaty · 10/04/2009 18:34

Marvellous news Treats! Very pleased to hear that.

I have been felt a bit sick once or twice over the past few days, which is a very odd thing to start happening at 13 1/2 weeks, but hopefully it's just a blip...

Also, Flamesparrow, thanks very much for the nappy info - very useful. I will certainly be getting back to you with questions at some point - also liking the idea of the October discount!

BTW, does anyone know if there is somewhere where you can go and actually LOOK at all the different types of cloth nappies? It would be much easier then to envisage what they're all about, I think.

Flamesparrow · 10/04/2009 21:40

Yay for good scan!

To actually look at nappies you either need and agent or a nappucino tbh. There are a few rl shops, but generally not with the range an agent will have. I will actually sort out the discount soon.

Not particularly hungry or able to hold stuff down. Tis good for my arse which tends to expand rapidly during pregnancy.

Had to cancel my demo tonight due to being so rough though

theboob · 11/04/2009 10:03

thats great news treats

KKKKaty · 11/04/2009 12:03

Thanks for that pointer Flamesparrow - have found a Nappucino in York in about 3 weeks' time, so will be going to that to get some ideas!

BellaCullen · 11/04/2009 12:40

great news Treats glad everything is ok and you`re so lucky to see baby again .

LMB glad you got on offer hopefully a bidding war will start soon and you get the offer you want.

Flame glad you won your dress thats advantage being pregnant in summer being able to wear dresses and flip flpos and not having to wear lots of layers. This is if its sunny in summer. And thanks for all your nappy advice we`re lucky to have an expert in our group.

I feel hungry most of time but feel sick as soon as I eat I seem to manage fruit and crackers but not too much hot food.Am 15 weeks+1 today so wondering if I ever feel normal again and be able to eat.But on other hand greatest diet ever just as long as baby gets all it needs seeing mw next tue.

Have a great easter everyone.xx

fidelma · 11/04/2009 14:38

treatsgreat news on the scan.Have an Easter egg on me.

I am feeling huge my whole body is aching.I didn't think I would feel so bad this time, but it feels like my first.I am going to take the children to the pool this afternoon so that I can get the weight off my body.It is a bit scarey as I feel 8 months pregnant not 14+5 WEEKS!!!!

Still no hot water but the new tank is comming on Monday.

3 days of no sickness and I stayed up until 11pm last night!! there is life.

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the chocolate eggs.

I can feel the babe move at night when I am in bed.

littlepea72 · 11/04/2009 16:13

Spent all off this morning with my DH trying to get a nasty tick out of the cats neck! I was bad, the wee bugger wasnt going to come out & the cat was getting really angry, not something i want to repeat!

Tomorrow we are going to book a 4 day break to Euro Disney in May, its for DS 5th birthday, the In-laws will be meeting us over there...oh great lol....I'll be 5 months by then.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter break, most of the MS seems to be trailing off so thats good for us all!

JellytotZ · 11/04/2009 21:13

Hi Everone!

I have been frantically trying to catch up with everyone!! I have not posted for a while but we had our very first scan last Thursday and i finally feel reassured because baby is fine and healthy!! woooooo!! i have had very little sickness (now in week 13) so it made me wonder if things were ok...... :0)
I was funny though because i drank far too much before the scan and the doctor had to send me off to the toilet as my bladder was squashing baby heehee!! 2nd time round he/she would not wake up how ever much i coughed or doctor poked! so.....i was ordered off to Costa for a coffee and slice of chocolate cake for a sugar fix!! 3rd time round we had full break dancing baby on the screen!!! DP and i were half crying half giggling!!!

I am going to read some more posts now and update myself with everyones news!!! (Treats I am very happy for your scan too!)

Jellytots x
