So, is it only me who can't face the idea of ripping out a bathroom? Or is she just mental?

bronze · 01/04/2009 10:27

it wouldnt bother me but theres no point with ours. I'm supposed to be finishing painting dds room today. I started before everyone got ill and havent got back to it. I cant be arsed though so will do it friday

bronze · 01/04/2009 10:28

I'm looking for some nice new flipflops instead but cant find anything I like

Juwesm · 01/04/2009 10:31

Bronze - I got the Elle Tens. Looks very swish, but I'm afraid I won't be able to tell you what it's like UNTIL THIS BABY COMES OUT!!!!! But I figured that for £2 in the price difference, might as well go for the 'fancy' one. I got them to deliver by special delivery (just in case - pah!), and it arrived the next morning.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 10:31

Springy - i would love to be painting the rest of dd's room spirit is willing but the flesh is weak .......even so yep shes mental

Nutty, I think Juwes is right. I certainly was on 60mg of codeine 4 x day and oromorph in between times, maximum of 3x day (can't remember how many ml) so it's amazing how much stuff you can have if you need it. Also it is not naughty to keep TENS on all day because you actually need to keep it on for at least 5 hours to get the full benefit. I frequently wear it all day and half the night. I think it might be worth giving someone a ring and talking this all through with them again.

DH health report: slight downward trend on BP and now taking calcium thingies and ACE inhibitors at the same time (I think, if I understood properly). He is still getting headaches and looking a bit pale and clammy to me though.

brettgirl2 · 01/04/2009 10:31

I don't think my husband would be very happy if he came home to find I'd ripped out the bathroom!

Bronze - are the flip flops for hospital or wear aferwards?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 10:32

Juw - you sound like a woman on the edge!

OP posts:
bronze · 01/04/2009 10:34

brett- general wear

brettgirl2 · 01/04/2009 10:34

Good news about DH's BP Boffin - the best thing is that at least it sounds like he is taking it seriously now and has faced up to it being a problem? Last week it sounded to me like he was in denial (although obviously I may be off the mark cos I only know what I have read on here!)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 10:34

Boffin - ooooh thats good even if it is slight, its good progress at least it coming down! hooray!

OP posts:
PuzzleRocks · 01/04/2009 10:35

Yes BB, take it easy. Wouldn't you rather demolish a cake?

bronze · 01/04/2009 10:35

hope his headaches clear up, is he drinking enough?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 10:36

Bronze - get some sketchers cali ones they're like mules and the base is foamy. they're lovely like walking on air!! hang on let me get a linky!! they come in all sorts of colours too .....

OP posts:
brettgirl2 · 01/04/2009 10:36

Well, I got my hospital ones from Sainsbury's - I just bought the cheapest ones they had (because I will probably throw them away after) but they had quite a few different ones (including some that were nice)

SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 10:36

Boff, it sounds promising that DH's BP is dropping. Any decrease is A Good Thing, no matter how slight

SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 10:37

Nutty, you're about to link to something gorgeous that I can't justify buying, aren't you?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 10:43

Bronze - yummy sketchers wedges

mathsmummy27 · 01/04/2009 10:44

I am going to walk around a FARM all day and look at baby animals! whoopee! If that doesn't get things moving...

bronze · 01/04/2009 10:44

how high are they? I'm not very good with anything with a heel. I do like the style though

I'm not good with toeposts. Its the not the bit betweent he toe that bugs me but where they come down the sides they rub so I tend to be picky about flipflops

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 01/04/2009 10:45

they have better range on justsketchers.co.uk and schuhstore.co.uk but theyre all on different pages worth a look though as they last for ages and are relitvely cheap

OP posts:
SpringySponge · 01/04/2009 10:45

I want to go to a farm

& they are rather lovely, Nutty. Damn you!

bronze · 01/04/2009 10:46

OddEyes · 01/04/2009 10:46
