do you have any doc medical friends you can call? i am a physiologist but always find speaking to my parents or parents in law really helpful to calm my nerves.

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 13:11

feel like giving you my dad's number

bronze · 23/03/2009 13:12

I'm a bit calmer. hes no different so thats good. Just seriously fucked off with the system.

Sorry carry on talking about perineum pep talks etc

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 13:13

worry for our children is the worst isn't it. don't think i have ever felt anxiety like it.

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 13:14

glad you calmer - him being the same is good

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 13:15

think i have just posted more than 8 times - that means i have to be quiet for the rest od the thread to keep my average low!

Schulte · 23/03/2009 13:15

Bronze - just saw your posts - call an ambulance. If DS won't talk to you something is wrong. They won't mind, it's their job. I have called an ambulance for every single one of DD's febrile convulsions even if they say you don't need to and they NEVER questioned it, quite the opposite. Please do that rather than worrying yourself sick! All the best for DS xxxxx

bronze · 23/03/2009 13:18

Oh Bronze good luck and hope DS gets better quickly. Let us know when you have a moment, once you're back from A&E.

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 13:21

Good luck, bronze xx

mrsfossil · 23/03/2009 13:24

Hi all sorry to hear about your ds bronze. Just call ambulance, if you get anymore worried you will need doc for your blood pressure. If the system won't come to you then call 999 they can't ignore a heavliy prggers women with poorly child. just think later on you will be all sorted. If you do get any raised eyebrows at a&e then turn on the tears. {i'm not none for my patience} My sis works in an a&e and is quite synical about gps. But please don't worry too much

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 13:42

Springy is right try (as much as is humanly possible) not to panic x

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 13:43

good luck - fingers crossed everything is ok!

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 13:53

I'm always right

Although I've just had to send DH a tearful text saying that I'm sorry for being so miserable & that I love him & do appreciate everything he does for me.

Because I got really bitchy & unkind about the fact that he bought himself a sandwich

This is the man who does all of the washing up (& has done since September), cooks me dinner more than 9 days out of 10, builds our furniture, lets me watch whatever I want on tv, drives me around whenever I want him to, talks to the bump & is the most enthusiastic expectant father he could be... Never mind that he gives me cuddles whenever I want & strokes my hair & still makes me feel sexy despite being huge & achy with a tummy that moves by itself.

How dare he buy himself a sandwich when he's out for hours spanning lunchtime & all of his mates are buying themselves food?

I can't wait to not be such a hormonal bitch. He's lovely & I'm being such a cow!

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 14:08

Springy you are right - he is taking liberties

Don't worry we are all in the same boat - yesterday I ripped DH's head off for telling me to stop eating malteasers!! (SP) I was bitching all day and he actually said to me "I am sorry for whatever it is I have done but please stop being angry with me"

he knows you don't mean it

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 14:16

hello - back, actually achieved something today - put a bolgnase into slower cooker (yes - i have one too, running joke with firends that if they don't have one by 30 we buy them one) that should last for 5 meals!
a sandwich! good sign though springy those hormones are still raging
right on a roll so will attempt some ironing, back soon

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 14:21

I know he does - that makes it worse!

He texted me back, saying:

'I really don't hold any of the moaning against you. I know it's not you it's the pregnancy and the hormones. I love you very much.'

Just to make me feel worse, I swear

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 14:22

Now I'm narked because I've just found that he left a load of Dairy Milk sitting in the sunshine & now it's all melted. Men

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 14:24

You people & your slow cookers! I'm beginning to feel seriously deprived!

My productivity of the day has pretty much amounted to putting a couple of sheets in the wash. Meh.

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 14:27

Springy, put the dmilk in the freezer for an hour - wont be the right shape but will taste just as good!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 14:29

BB - no wonder you snapped re the malteasers chocolate denial never ends well

Springy - at dairy milk in the sunshine!!

i have had a bath...... thats the sum total of my productivity

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 14:30

I'm really tempted to squeeze it all out into my mouth as it is. But there's about 100g & I can't really justify its magical disappearance & it'd all get left on the wrapper & be a total waste
