Schulte · 23/03/2009 15:10

I'm pleased

conkertree · 23/03/2009 15:11

ooh dairy milk and ice cream sounds lovely.

so annoyed that i cant have chocolate really just now until i find out about the glucose in blood tests.

if you cant drink it seems so unfair to not get to eat chocolate too.

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 15:12

I have 3 outfits that fit me outside of pjs and one of them is a formal work dress for meetings - the other 2 are definitely not the most attractive things in the world!!

Conker what is the 30 day thing?

Schulte · 23/03/2009 15:12

So my lovelies, is no-one else going to challenge me on the last post?

conkertree · 23/03/2009 15:13

just sending off the hip form within 30 days of getting it from your midwife, or they wont pay out.

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 15:14

I want dairy milk and we have none!!

It's really bizarre - had a really busy morning this morning but am starting to hand everything over for the end of the week and feels very bizarre not to have a humungous list of things to do - in fact I am actually saving some of my to dos for tomorrow so I have something to do in the morning (before you lazy mares wake up!!!)

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:14

I still have a couple of weeks left on it, after they spent so long pithering about. If I don't get it posted this afternoon I'll insist that DH posts it when he goes to uni tomorrow - at least then if I end up feeling too rough to go out again it's done.

I don't remember the last time I looked good. I'm currently in sloppy trousers & a maternity vest top. I'm not even bothering to wear a bra, although I probably really should.

I've needed new bras for a couple of weeks, but I'm refusing to buy them on the basis that I'll be buying nursing bras very, very soon, so why waste the money? Of course in the meantime, I'm either very uncomfortable, or lolling around with unwieldy breasts pointing in every direction.

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 15:14

you will have to wait for lulu, boff and puzzle to come on for the challenge to be over!!

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:17

Schulte, don't get too cocky - Puzzle & Boff haven't been on yet... I hope that awful Puzzle woman doesn't get it, I can't stand her

& BB, frankly you're lucky that I show my face before midday. Especially considering that I have the flat totally to myself most mornings & could theoretically lie in bed & snooze. You should be very appreciative of my presence in the morning, even if it's not quite at the crack of dawn

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:17

I cannot believe I got beaten on that last thread. Oh the shame.

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 15:18

Oh Springy I am very appreciative

Boff if you will go off nesting you will be beaten!!

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:18

I'm assuming that LuLu's not competitive enough to set up measures to steal the last post as much in advance as she'd have had to... The other two, however...

conkertree · 23/03/2009 15:19

ooh enjoy the snoozes while you can springy - i was awake at 5.15 when ds woke up - went through to him and didnt get back to sleep properly at all after that.

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:20

Gosh, speak of the devil.

& if Boff doesn't have it, that means that Puzzle potentially will [horror]

Schulte, I hope you have something left in reserve

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 15:21

I really do try to conker, but these days I'm just so uncomfortable / needing to get up so often that it's just not working out very well It pains me to be wasting limited snooze time like this.

Maybe I should just stock up on diazepam for these last few weeks.

Schulte · 23/03/2009 15:23

You admit defeat Boff?

How was the shopping?

Schulte · 23/03/2009 15:25

BB by the way don't assume you'll get bored in your last few days - I thought I would and then I had this massive project come in at the last minute!

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 15:30

Ah but Schultes as I am not in the office it is unlikely to come to me!

The annoying thing is that irrespective of how much work I am I am stuck in the house as I am working so need access to emails and files etc - next monday I can go out - even if it is just for a walk - I have the option!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:31

way TMI beware

oh feck ... Boff glad your on, help me.

you know i have been getting an itchy fanjo/ swollen in that area, lots of white watery discharge, well tried bicarb/ fletti/ cotton pants etc. got dh to have a quick look at my belows and he said they looked very swollen sore etc.

just had a look at my poor old fanjo with a mirror to assess the damage (as you do) and there is a fingernail sized white lump at the sort of entrance to fanjo by the perenum and labia (i have had labial cysts and this doesn't look like one, its more attached to the skin than underneath iyswim)

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:31

Shopping was crap - just bought an ipod charger and some Easter eggs for the kids and DH. Did manage to drop off coffee table to have a glass top fitted though.

John Lewis won't fix our hard disk recorder and I couldn't get any dark green fabric to patch up our sofa sovers suitably well.

I am feeling very unsatisfied on the nesting front.

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:35

Poor old Nutty. I have no idea what that is. I reckon you have some kind of infection and I would be v tempted to go to the GP or even the ante-natal clinic today if at all possible. I would regard this as urgent given the pg.

It could be a staph or strep skin infection perhaps, which would need antibiotics. Is there any raw skin?

Don't go to hydro any more, that may have been a factor here.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 15:36

had a look on intyweb and it mentions v scary thinkgs and brings up sites with scary fanjo pic's that dont look like what i have.

OP posts:
BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:36

Also Nutty do you have a raised temp? Or swollen lymph nodes in your groin area?

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 15:37

Nutty I just googled too and it could be one of about 500 things I think!!! (my poor internet history!!)

Does it hurt?

BoffinMum · 23/03/2009 15:38

Make sure they do a swab, and maybe ask if you can have some broad spectrum antibiotics and a steroid cream suitable for fanjos.
