phdlife · 23/03/2009 12:07

springy you poor thing

I'm ok, stewing in my vbac dilemma, weird cravings for sugar, general stinky sweatiness and swollen ankles

oh and T minus 12 we can't think of a boy's name

'bout par for the course I reckon

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 12:11

Yes, exactly like that Nutty I'm truly proud (I should've known you'd have a sword to hand - you're a scary lady )

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 12:11

I am drinking two cups a day (when I remember) but am not massive fan tbh!!

just had a very grrr moment at work - have spent 2 hours speaking to the national media about a story which the client now wants pulled!!! argh!!!! and we actually had interest from 4 of them!

Springy hope there is no more sickness - better out than in as they say so finger crossed this afternoon will be much perkier for you!!!

Hey WFH - 4 days to go for you little lady!! so exciting!!!

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 12:12

Cravings for sugar are certainly not weird! I shan't have such things said about them!

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 12:14

What kind of story, BB? Sounds intriguing...

God, it is only 4 days for WFH! 4 days! The babies really are about to start popping! I know I keep saying it, but I can't really get my head around it!

B52s · 23/03/2009 12:15

I'm eating a pack of biscuits a week - mmm lotus biscuits melt in your mouth...

Juwesm · 23/03/2009 12:17

A packet per week? Pah! Come back and see me when you're up to a packet a day!

phdlife · 23/03/2009 12:19

they are for me - I've drunk more coke and pop this pg than in the past 10 years!

Because that's good for lo

Carameli · 23/03/2009 12:19

oh blimey, I have also missed a whole thread, I cannot keep up with you all.
Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, 1st timers hope you also got treated as you are nearly there. My dd(5yrs) made me a lovely card and wrote it inside in her own handwriting, 'Thank you mummy for driving me to school' so at least my chauffering skills are up to scratch
Had a lovely lazy day yesterday, dh made a delicious meal and then family came over in the afternoon as my sister has just got engaged. I was a little naughty and had a small glass of champagne, it was yummy, I wanted more but was good.

I am very tired today as ds(2yrs) was awake quite a bit last night, he has a bit of a cold and it makes him feel grotty. He is moving into a big double bed at the weekend.
He is so fed up of the cot now so I can't
wait. He refuses to have a nap during the day now which is tiring for me at the moment so hoping his new bed might entice him.

I also have new curtain poles and fittings being delivered today, really looking forward to getting back into our new bedroom and feeling a bit more settled.

must go and get some more lunch. With each of my dc I have had nausea in the last few weeks and this one is no exception so its little and many quick bites for me.

SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 12:23

Ju, I'm with you there. I'm managing to keep my biscuit habit limited to Rusks - I can fool myself that they're good for me because they have lots of iron in them.

Carameli, I love the 'driving me to school' thing How sweet. Lots going on with your DS moving into a bed & your new bedroom things being delivered for you - never mind the new baby on the way! Exciting times!

B52s · 23/03/2009 12:25

oooh rusks - smothered in real salted butter - must buy some on way home. Need to keep my iron levels up.

B52s · 23/03/2009 12:26

why am I still at work?

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 12:28

It was an education story which SHOULD have been in the papers tomorrow but am now hoping it wont be! Am so annoyed as makes me look like a twat in front of all those journalists!!

Carameli bless the driving me to school - now that is what being a good mother is all about!!!

Oh Schultes, re your bosses, it was the brown haired one that the previous scandal involved!!!

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 12:28

I love rusks, dipped in tea so they go all soggy and lovely - yum yum yum yum yum

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 12:29

Caramelli - aww so sweet , exciting having lots of deliveries

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 12:30

B52s - go home!!

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 12:31

You won't be there much longer, BB - just get to the end of the week & you're free of it for a bit. & it's not your fault that your client's so fickle anyway!

& nooo, dipped in milk. Yumyumyum.

OddEyes · 23/03/2009 12:33

just ate 8 fun size packets of buttons - meant to be off sugar so no big baby and they were bought to bribe ds with post baby!
Last post has to be mine surely?
phdlife - think 4, only managing 2 though - bleugh!

BabyBolat · 23/03/2009 12:36

fun size don't count as food as there is only about 2 buttons in them!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 23/03/2009 12:36

Springy & BB - dipped in hot chocolate!! yumyumyum

Oddeyes - go you ah 8 fun size only = 1 normal packet so you're ok

Juwesm · 23/03/2009 12:38
SpringySunshine · 23/03/2009 12:38

I didn't even know that there were fun sized packs. What a waste of time. I don't bother myself with such silliness - it's the huge family packs that are of interest
