Thanks to Nutty for all the thread suggestions including this one. I hope no one minds but I picked this one in honour of the brilliant race commentary we had from Nuts and Frekkles the other night. Hopefully we will get some more.

OP posts:

The 'ghosts' are chucking stones at them now!
Really have to get a life and stop watching this rubbish.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:31

ahhhh it was called the real excorsist (only watched it once)

Kali - it scares the crap out of me too, i went to watch the excorsist with my brother when it was re-released and had to leave the cinema part way through cos i couldnt deal with it. had nightmares for weeks after

BabyBolat · 18/03/2009 13:31

Ok sorry quick question as have got myself in a bit of a tizz - the baby has only moved once or twice n the past day or so - I have fairly bad period pain and now have a very very bad headache like sharp shooting pains - (am now doubly annoyed that I missed the mw) should I give the hospital a call or am I worrying about nothing?

BabyBolat · 18/03/2009 13:32

Also have just downed cold water and fizzy drink and nothing!!!

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:32

Haha, I don't think that he's demonic, just evil. He also never leaves his flat. Ever. I can say this as someone who also never leaves her flat & would therefore hear if he did At least I have an excuse - I'm too fat & achy to do anything. I think he must sneak out in the dead of night to lure more victims in.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:33

BB - give the hospital a call. just to get some monitoring for reduced movement if nothing else xx

BabyBolat · 18/03/2009 13:34

Oh and spring it's some Turkish series - I don't know occasionally I watch it with him and try and work out what they are saying based on their gestures!!

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:34

I've never seen The Exorcist. I got scared enough by the American remake of The Ring (DH mocks me endlessly for finding it scary, especially as he's seen the original) but oh God, that creepy girl...

& BB, it's worth phoning. I don't know enough to give any specific advice, but it's always worth having your mind put at rest

Kalikaroo · 18/03/2009 13:35

BabyBolat - maybe you should give your MW a ring? It could just be that the baby has moved down and now doesn't have much room, but my MW told me that I should always get in touch if I felt concerned about movement (my baby has never been very active and it's something I've been bothered about all the way through). It'll give you peace of mind, otherwise you'll just be thinking and worrying about it.

Juwesm · 18/03/2009 13:36

BB - have you given LO a good poking? I have a panic at least once a day, but usually once I poke it awake, I get a good 2 hours kicking in return. COld drinks don't seem to do a lot for me.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:37

Nightmare on elm street does me in too (possibly cos my other brother made me watch it with him when i was little cos i wouldnt stay in bed, eveil brother!!)

the song just creeps me out and makes me want to hide!!

am not good with horror lol

BabyBolat · 18/03/2009 13:38

yep poked away but my tummy is really tender - am on hold now!

Kalikaroo · 18/03/2009 13:38

I actually believe in ghosts a bit - I used to live in an old building that was built in the 1200s and one day I was lying in the bath and heard footsteps walking past the bathroom door and through the kitchen (from carpet to lino) and I was alone in the house. Freaked me out completely! It was a really spooky place. A few other weird things happened too - mostly hearing stuff.

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:39

Also, the reduced movement & period pain sound potentially like early labour. The headache could also be related to that - rapid hormonal changes can cause them (one of my first symptoms of pregnancy was a migraine, for example).

So even if it is something dramatic going on, it's not necessarily something bad

BabyBolat · 18/03/2009 13:39

i hate horror films - noelm street freaks me out - esp the vein one and that one in the woods like a home movie - i managed 3 minutes then had to switch it off!!

BabyBolat · 18/03/2009 13:42

Ok off to the hospital for me - just have to wait for DH to come get me!!

Watch the little bugger start moving as soon as I get there
God am so hormonal just burst in to tears on the phone to my mum!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:43

Kali - i believe totally in ghosts, my mum said that i used to talk to an old lady at the end of my bed!! she was a spiritualist though. there were lots of other little things that went on but only in the one house we lived in.

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:44

Actually, I watched The Blair Witch Project (the one in the woods that I think that you mean) by myself & it wasn't too bad. I think that film either really gets you or it just doesn't, from what I've heard. I only saw NOES once when I was about 12 & don't remember much about it. I watched it with my friend who'd seen it a few times before & found it funny in a 'isn't this ridiculous & outdated?' way that 12 year olds do - so it was more of a 'haha' experience than it might've been. I'd probably be more scared watching it now than I was as a kid!

Kalikaroo · 18/03/2009 13:44

Good luck at the hospital BB - maybe the baby is on the way!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:44

BB at the vein one OMG tis soooo vile.

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:44

BB, make sure you keep in touch

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:45

BB - good luck sweety ((big hugs)) xxx dont forget to keep us posted xx

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:47

Someone should probably alert WFH that she may need to overdose on RLT now

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 18/03/2009 13:48

SpringySunshine · 18/03/2009 13:51
