Ooh! The first baby has been born on the due in May thread!!! All seemed to go fine, just 4 and a bit weeks early!

Hmm... I must think about packing a bag...!

Well between that and the NCT classes and my dream last night (gave birth v quickly and easily and then fed my lo!) I think it is becoming real - finally!!

BTW meant to say that old wives tale is that you will have the opposite sex to the baby you dream about!

Hmmm... I hadn't heard that old wives tale!

Early on I dreamt a couple of times I had a boy, then it was just a baby, then there was one dream where DH and I realised we hadn't found out the sex and the baby was 2 days old and last night it was a girl!
I've definitely felt more girl vibes but am worried (not really in a bad way) I could be wrong. I just find it easier to imagine having a daughter so keep trying to imagine having a son too!!

FWIW SES the old wives tale never worked for me! I have a feeling you will have a girl too! Cannot believe I'm now third from the top..how did that happen???
TINKS know what you mean about getting sick of their clothes - my dds can't wait to get into their new summer things!!

Congratulations Cosmo!

Second day out in a row on my own here. Feeling rather proud.
Diege I had my 6 week check this morning, there's a 6 month waiting list for sterilisation, male n female

GP says no prolapse but cervix is a bit lower, pelvic floor ex's seem to be working. He did predict a repair would be needed when I'm 50 or 60 though. happy bloke

I have 3-6 mo clothes waiting as well Tink

Weight watchers went well. I am on the fast track diet for a week. So I can have 18 points and it kick starts weight loss. But we are having a big York meet up next thursday so I will have to be very good and have salad!!

Diege, I am very sorry but last night I dreamt you had twins, one had somehow been missed on your scans

Morning! KAYZ at twins . A few people have said the usual 'are you sure it's not twins', as I do look big for 28 weeks. Midwife assures me (with glee) that it's my lack of stomach muscles after having 3 children....
Weight watchers sounds good. Do you feel better health wise on it? 18 points doesn't sound much!
SORKY, can't believe there are such long waiting lists for male AND female sterilisation! Are you both getting 'done'? Me and dh actually had a few words about it this morning. I've found out that local gp does vasectomies (lunch-time clinic jobby)and compared that to what I would have to go through. Then comes the story about his best friend being impotent after his one . So not much further on with what to do!! (though I'm sure I can convince him to at least chat it through with gp).
Anti-d on Monday now not today, so frees up the morning with dd3.
Hope everyone has a good Friday (last day SES!! ).

cant to get dd1 and dd2 into there summer bits. dd2 has dungarees,dresses,trousers, and tshirts. will wait till she is 12 weeks then she can wear them.
dd1 can wait till weather gets warm.

Morning all

Ses - Happy LAST DAY!!!! Have a great one! I had had dreams about both boy and girl babies - I think I had boy vibes from the beginning, but if I'm totally honest, I had no idea that he was a he! I think I would've really liked a girl, but I know a lot more about boy babies than girls as I grew up babysitting for little boys mostly.

Diege - the discos must be a hoot! they didn't let us have any kind of dances until we were all 13!!!

Sorky about the 6 month wait! I'd be tempted to get at DH with a scissor myself!

Tink - I'd try to hold off on the 3-6 month clothes as long as possible - think about how much you spent on them and how you want to get as much wear as possible out of them!

Kay - well done for WW!

Ballet was really lovely last night. Reminded me just how much I miss it all Got very warm welcome from dancers and admin/technical staff when we went backstage, so part of me is hoping one day they might take me back!

anyone adding there babys age

most of the bits for 3-6 months were bought for us by family and friends. most bits r summery and 6-9 month bits are summery.

surely the sooner bracken goes into 3-6 month clothes she will get more wear. she will be nearly 11lbs by 12 weeks clothes go up to 18lbs.
cant believe is easter hols. dh is taking one day off eack week. dh is taking off monday as we have dentist then going to go to local farm.
tues still have swimming and friends. friday is good fri and having pixi fotos done. easter mon @ my mums then in 2nd wk going to go to zoo.
