like when you reach your absolute threshold when excercising

BoffinMum · 06/03/2009 16:43

I think with anything over 120 I would go to the GP as it might be tachycardia. Do you feel dizzy, lightheaded or numb at all?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 16:44

Springy - go get it checked sweetheart xx

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 16:45

They did investigate it, as I say. I had an ECG done (DH got to watch whilst a pretty female doctor prodded at my boobs to stick the things on - if only he'd been hooked up to a machine too ) & she listened to my chest & back with the stethoscope to hear my breathing & heart, & said that it sounded okay. Just fast. It was the last thing they checked before I was discharged, but seemed to think that it was fine.

I would be wanting a referral to a cardiologist, tbh. You don't want to find you have an undiagnosed heart defect whilst in labour. Rare but deadly.

Bleuravin · 06/03/2009 16:46

no, but maybe yes, when i get them I feel 'strange' a little disconected for half a second... i did mention it to the mw yesterday... she thought it was my body getting ready for early labor...it does seem to be happening more and more lately...

Carameli · 06/03/2009 16:47

yikes just had a look at some of those clothes, they are scarey.

Springsunshine: The ones I used were

healing and general soreness:
arnica
hypericum
calendula
bellis per
pulsatilla

chamomilla: to keep me feeling calm
kali phos: exhaustion from sleepless nights!

I use aconite now to try and help restless legs, helps a bit.

hope this helps.

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 16:47

I occasionally get waves of mild dizziness, or feel a bit light-headed, but it's not constant. It comes & goes. & I've had a strange thing a couple of times where my arms have felt heavy & almost numb (not just my left arm! Definitely both of them!), but nothing too alarming. & I also get a weird numbness below my boobs too, sometimes - the skin feels like it's been anaesthetised for a while, but I am (was?) fairly sure that it was just where he'd stretched it too far with his bottom sticking out?

bronze · 06/03/2009 16:48

Just lay down for 10 minutes and managed to grab 30 mins kip. Unheard of for me during the day. I just feel apalling

I use the witch hazel and gauze for after weeing. I just dab with it though and its fantastic.

Now to finish reading the rest which seems to be turning more sordid as usul

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 16:48

Thanks Carameli There's a fair bit you've used, then... I may invest

bronze · 06/03/2009 16:50

Poo forgot to buy arnica this morning.

I always picture Boff in robes anyway. More Uni style than the arab ones though.

BoffinMum · 06/03/2009 16:51

Ask dr if it's anything to do with this condition

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 16:53

I wish I'd not mentioned it now - it's easier to bury my head in the sand

BoffinMum · 06/03/2009 16:53

I have been known to wear academic gowns, yes. I have two sets.

BoffinMum · 06/03/2009 16:53

You don't muck around with anything to do with the heart, Springy. Really.

BoffinMum · 06/03/2009 16:54

Springy, it's like the brain. You always need to get proper attention for that as well.

bronze · 06/03/2009 16:55

I have too but my claim wasn't legit . Used to dress up in my Grandpas, think he might even rival you for boffin status.

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 16:56

Fiiiine. I'll make a GP appointment tomorrow & have a moan about my ever-increasing list of issues.

bronze · 06/03/2009 16:56

Agree with the Boffmeister 130 is too fast and you should get checked out. You coul;d do that via your gp though if you think they would take you more seriously than a mw

bronze · 06/03/2009 16:57

x post

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 16:59

Ooh, it's Saturday tomorrow. Maybe I won't! I have a MW appointment on Tuesday though, so I'll bring it up then, I suppose.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 17:06

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 17:08

SpringySunshine · 06/03/2009 17:11

Fine, maybe Monday. I just thought seeing as I already had an appointment... & yes, I do know that It's funny how attached to people you can get over the internet

bronze · 06/03/2009 17:13

Not maybe...definitely
