BB - (((HUGS)) xx yep tis dd's birthday on sunday party the same day though dh is a bit worried about me going due to all the crazy 5 year olds for 2 hours. Sofa arrives on saturday!!

Puzzle - say hello to the lemurs for me have a lovely time x

Boffin - very odd dream lol ooohhhh a nasal rape thread title has to be included in there somewhere

Swaliswan - i'm shattered all the time, but that could be due to loads of things, they said i was aneamic as well so it wont help.

Purple - dh said the scan was very clear and you could see everything, i was bawling my eyes out at the time as i was flat on my back and couldnt see. i would ask them to be discreet and not show you any "bits" first tbh.

Juw - GH you can play it sat on the sofa, with bump so try it that way not sure about stood up though

B52s · 06/03/2009 10:02

You're not alone, Smutts.
I'm still at work (and will be for another 3 weeks!!!) so hopefully will be around a lot more then.

gingersarah · 06/03/2009 10:03

Morning!

Welcome back, Nutty. Glad to hear not PE on top of everything else.
Springy, I was wondering about your MIL too.
Purple, good luck with the quest for drugs. Crying is horrible.

I had a busy day in the office yesterday with some good meetings - was exhausted when I got home but they taxi'd me so it was all ok. I am beginning to vaguely understand why people on ML want to go back to work! When I first started working from home I was so exhausted the thought of the place made me feel sick. Now I am hoping the place will be there for me to back to. (No definite news on that but people seem tentatively hopeful that one of the key potential buyers would keep the place as a running concern.)

I can't believe we have 5 babies - congratulations!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 10:03

Hooray,

B52s - boo for 3 more weeks, hope it goes quickly for you

gingersarah · 06/03/2009 10:04

Oh sorry - I think we have SIX.

Gosh.

B52s · 06/03/2009 10:05

Is there someone on here all the time???

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 10:07

gingersarah - crazy isnt it!! very exciting though 6 babies already!!! fingers crossed for you're job for you xx

Purple - crying is good when requesting drugs so use it to your advantage!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 10:09

B52's - pretty much lol there is always one of us around

Juwesm · 06/03/2009 10:41

Oh dear, another stupid question please, surrogate family. Is it just the nappies I shouldn't use softener with? Surely tiny baby clothes will need softener or they will be all crunchy.

Nearly choked to death on fairy cake.

Kaz has put some baby photos on FB - just awaiting her permission to display them on here (not that I know how).

Nutty - that's neat, that's neat, that's neat, that's neat!

B52s · 06/03/2009 10:46

My bump's dropped. Am only 33 weeks - hope this doesn't mean he's engaged and ready to drop out yet. I'm not ready. Mind you, I don't think you ever are. Mate of mine is being induced on Monday to due that liver thing - where you get itchy hands and feet (can't remember what it's called, let alone spell it). She's only 2 weeks early though.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 10:48

i really love those tiger feet lol

no idea about the softner i'm afraid, sorry. LuLu will be along soon though

Juwesm · 06/03/2009 10:49

Obstetric cholestasis? Kaz had that...don't know if it just goes once babies are out? Must ask her.

I thought mine had dropped one day, but he must just have been squooshed up as it was right back up under the ribs the following day.

B52s · 06/03/2009 10:52

I used softener with everything first time round. Baby clothes aren't around long enough to go crunchy as they grow out of them so soon, so it's up to you really. Not sure I'd use it where they're sore (nappy rash, eczema, dry skin etc) but otherwise I don't worry.

B52s · 06/03/2009 10:53

That's the chicky. No wonder pregnant brain couldn't remember that. Hello by the way!

B52s · 06/03/2009 10:54

(God, sounding like I'm doing the chorus for Smutts)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 06/03/2009 10:55

Morning all! That was a very weird dream Boffin ! - I dreamt (is that actually a word, or is it dreamed?) the other night that I was trying to climb a mountain in the baking heat and got knocked off by a massive tsunami-type tidal wave...very scary.

Just wondering if it's just me, or is anyone else hating their DH/DH touching, kissing or cuddling them at the mo'? I don't know why but for some reason I just can't stand him anywhere near me and feel like I'm being so horrible to him . I think it might partly be because I feel physically uncomfortable (back ache etc.) and just generally gross. I'm also a grumpy hormonal cow as well. Hope I can snap out of it before bubs is born!

Ok, whinge over!!!!!!

Glad to hear things are looking up a bit Nutty - must be a relief that there's no PE to worry about.

Hope everyone else's morning is going according to plan (or lack of in my case because I'm a lazy mare now I'm on maternity leave!)

Is there any way I can induce nesting????? My mother told me the saying "only once you rest, can you nest" and told me to relax and it would come naturally! My flat is a mess and I can't stop sitting on my laptop eating rubbish instead of cleaning....

BabyBolat · 06/03/2009 10:58

Ju, mine didn't dry as fast as I hoped wither - bulk was dry outside but the popper in bits and ends not so much - however dried ok on the radiator and you can pop them in the drier for 5 minutes which seems to do the job - I all fairness, I didn't unpop everything IYKWIM and left them kind of half done up so tis probably why (although that is what the instructions say).

Also, I don't think you are supposed to use softner the first time you wash them - although I DID (non-bio tho) as I hate non-softnered clothes and refuse to wash them all again - so not sure it makes a MASSIVE difference - although I am no expert!!!

B52, my bump dropped weeks ago but LO only started engaging last week so don't think that is anything to worry about - tis still dropping and am noticing more everyday, I think where the little blighter is pushing down more.

I also have 3 more weeks - booo! but then actually 3 weeks goes so quickly sure it will be here before we know it!

Oooh ju I want to see the photos!!!

nutty, I love them tiger feet too... Yay for sofa! wow that was a while ago your ordered that how fast has that time gone!
