Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Swaliswan · 05/03/2009 22:07

Well, they either wrote 5/5 palpable ie not engaged at all or 5/5 engaged ie fully engaged about to pop out.

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:07

Shes obviously safe playing with her cervix then
though I would prefer she didn't do it online, or didn't let us know anyway

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 22:07

normally they write 'free' if it's not engaged at all.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:08

head down is good though, "head"ing lol in the right direction

oh forgot to say they lost my scan photos they were in the white plastic wallet with my notes which i had to ask for when i was discharged and my photos are gone

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 22:08

I was not playing with me cervix whilst online!!! I had a quick rummage in the bath after a contraction.

Swaliswan · 05/03/2009 22:09

My notes just said 5/5, cephalic (head down).

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:09

hang on will get my notes ....... i think its just 5/5 thats on there though

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 22:09

I would have a cry about that and they might make a bit of an effort to find them.

That is really sloppy and lazy of them.

Swaliswan · 05/03/2009 22:10

Tis a good place to have a rummage, Boff. A good position and you should be nicely relaxed.

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 22:11

I didn't feel very relaxed, tbh. I was busy thinking oh shit the house is a mess and I have no appliances, this is not a good time at all. Plus it hurt a lot.

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 22:11

DH home in 15 minutes. Good!

Swaliswan · 05/03/2009 22:13

Oh, Boff, try to relax. You will feel so much better when DH is home and you can snuggle up.

Talking about snuggling up to DH, I'm off to bed.

Night All!

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:14

I feel sick. I need to eat something savoury

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:14

Boffin - yay for dh home soon ((hugs)) hang in there xx

Just tried to make sense of notes pres: free i'm guessing means presentation free?? so not engaged?

i also have treat normally, and NVD underlined all over my notes and elective CS not advised underlined too. i'm so not going to get one lol

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:28

I've lost my sodding notes again.

Never mind got french bread, salad and brie and am happy

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:30

found them

I don't know what I am. I havent seen the mw since 28 weeks

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:33

how many weeks are you now bronze?

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:34

erm....
32+6

had to work it out

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:42

have you got an appointment soon? you should have been seen at 32 (i think)

lol just looked at my BP, twas all over the place, looks low though compared to my usual 120/60.

106/50
115/70 then 100/70 lol though i know nothing about bp, could be completely normal

bronze · 05/03/2009 22:43

Yes I should have been. that was what my rant was about earlier that I deleted twice by accident.
Being seen next thursday and having my bloods done then too.

Do they worry about raised blood pressure ~(compared to a persons norm) or just high blood pressure?

They both sound fairly normal to me

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:47

just v/high or v/low bp i think, well thats why they were worried the other day about PE cos my bp was high

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:49

i'm no expert though and i havent been told an awful lot (by docs etc) so am guessing really.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 22:51

Bronze - yay for finally being seen though.

Boffin - hope you're ok xx

anyway must go to bed now (i'n my lovely double bed yay) night night xx
