Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 21:25

I am on the glidey chair having had half an hour of massive contractions while in the bath.

Seem to have found my cervix, which means it must have moved down. This is worrying me a bit.

DH is in London on a boys' night out. Fuck.

Anyway this thread is cheering me up no end. I could probably just give birth while reading it and then leave the placenta attached, to save posting time.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 21:26

lol am glad you dont remember lol, dh has ordered pizza and its due to arrive in a minuite, dont want to be put off

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 21:27

DH psychically knew I needed him and is coming home early apparently. Phew. Love that man.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 21:28

bronze · 05/03/2009 21:31

I didn't mean those stitches I haven't torn they were ones from my head that I kept for years until she chucked them

bronze · 05/03/2009 21:32

mathsmummy27 · 05/03/2009 21:33

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 21:35

Boffin that is not to be taken as encouragement!!! BB will not be happy!! leave it alone

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 21:36

I have looked at the pictures of the wierd placenta people.

Oh
My
God

I was not sure whether I was seeing something out of a Philip Pullam novel or whether it was some kind of wind up.

Honestly, that kid could have got a staph infection!! Are they totally mad????

bronze · 05/03/2009 21:36

in a wodr....yes

bronze · 05/03/2009 21:36

or a word

BoffinMum · 05/03/2009 21:38

They have settled a bit. They are just grumbling now. It was Mathsmummy that made me look for my cervix. It appears to be in soft and puckered mode. Do we think it will go back up to cervix land where it is supposed to be?????

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 21:40

what is soft and puckered mode?

bronze · 05/03/2009 21:43

I missed all mathsmummys cervix spiel. fill me in. I really am going toend up giving in and going in search of my own

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 21:49

"fill me in" lol

i am such a child!! sorry

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 05/03/2009 21:50

Swaliswan ((hugs)) xx

mathsmummy27 · 05/03/2009 21:51

ok, so to find your cervix bronze...have a feel as far as you can, past opening and up towards back..you may find a sort of puckered lips structure ( like a doughnut..sorry toroid)if not, it may be up and high still.

the softer and more open it is, the more dilated you are. when not pg it feels like a tiny ring, when pg it becomes softer and softer like skin on inside cheek.

warning playing with your cervix seems to be addictive !!!

Swaliswan · 05/03/2009 21:52

Has anyone found an on-line contraction timer yet?

mathsmummy27 · 05/03/2009 21:52

oi Boff don't blame me I just provided the information...

bronze · 05/03/2009 21:52

OH help. I'm getting worried now about people sat at the pcs trying to find their cervixs.
I've felt mine before (previous pg) just wasn't sure what the different stages were.

Swaliswan · 05/03/2009 21:53

So Maths, what does it mean when you can easily find your own cervix?
