Oh Doggus i am so sorry , i wish i was able to give you a big hug, what a kick in the teeth after hearing the little heartbeat. I wish you all the luck for the next time, take care of yourself.....xxxx

twinklegreen · 26/03/2009 14:58

So sorry to hear your news doggus That's so hard for you to get so far then it all be over I know what you're going through
as I had a miscarriage in December at 10 weeks... I was pregnant again with this one two weeks later, everyone told me that you're super fertile straight after a MC so I'm sure you'll be back on here really soon, lot's of hugs, take care. x

lixanismapolium · 26/03/2009 15:26

So sorry Doggus . Take some time out to look after yourself. Life can be so cruel.

CalypsoFlame · 26/03/2009 15:35

doggus I'm completely shocked, and feel so sad for you. I'm really sorry that you're leaving us, please do pop by and say hello when you are expecting again, which I hope is as soon as you are ready. Lots of hugs XXXXX

doggus · 26/03/2009 15:38

Thank you so much all of you, I really will miss you....you have been great.

twinkle - did not realise that about being fertile, how interesting. It's lovely to hear your story, gives me some hope....xx

hackneybird · 26/03/2009 15:39

doggus - so incredibly sorry to hear your news, am really shocked. I have had an MC as well so I know what it feels like.

Please be as good to yourself as you can possibly be. Thinking of you. xxx

DevilsAdvocaat · 26/03/2009 16:05

ah doggus, sorry to hear that. it has been a tough few weeks for you with all the ups and downs and worries. i hope you have plenty of people around to support you now x

hello everyone, sorry i have been away so long (although i suspect with all the many people here i wasn't missed too much!). i have just been trying not to think about things too much so that time hurries up iykwim. i guess it has as i'm 12 weeks tomorrow and my scan is on monday.

calypso your bump is fab! someone actually asked me at playgroup yesterday if i am pg so i must look pretty obvious. in fact, when i went to the docs he asked me if i was still feeling the baby move it was a bit embarrasing as i had to explain that i am only 12 weeks .

hc, i'm sorry you are still feeling sick. was it like this with yourother pgs? do you think it will stop soon?

i have told all my close friends now which is nice although i still am hesitant to relax until my scan on monday.

LittleMissBliss · 26/03/2009 16:12

So sorry doggus. Did you go to your scan today to make sure? I'm wishing another litte one for you and your dh in the very near future.

Scan went well today bang on for my dates one day out for m/w dates so still due 5th Oct. I've go my 20 week scan date for May which is exciting. Hope the other scans go well today x

HumphreysCorner · 26/03/2009 16:12

doggus-I am and at your news. That was so unexpected. Like some of the others I have been there so you take care of yourself and hope to see you very soon on an antenatal thread.

DevilsAdvocaat-with DD1 the MS lasted 5 months and only 4 months with DD2. I feel this time it is more like the sickness I had with DD1. Was reading about Kate Garraway and she said she thought her MS was bad the first time but this time she has been very ill. Each day I hope I will get up and feel OK but hasn't happened yet at 13+2.

Love to everyone else. The tiredness has hit me big time again.

Doggus So so sorry to hear your news.

My scan today went very well - it was amazing in fact. I was so sure she was going to tell me that there was nothing there and it was all a figment of my imagination! But there it was, bouncing about! It wasn't very co-operative for good pictures - mostly curled up in a ball at the bottom! But the dates they gave me were what I thought - just a day or two change from what they've been working with, so that's good.

Telling people now so it's all very exciting and getting a bit more real!

Sugarkane · 26/03/2009 17:13

Hi everyone.

Doggus Im so sorry, having been there just take sometime for yourself and start to try only when you feel ready.

Had my scan today, I was expecting to be around 9 weeks but as soon as we saw the baby jumping and moving about DP said wow that baby is big, and I am in fact 12 weeks today. Very pleased that im further than I thought, but god did they push hard on my belly, they said I hadnt drank enough, but I felt full to the brim. Due date now stands as the 8th Oct, four days before my little sister.

Flamesparrow · 26/03/2009 18:03

Oh Doggus

Not done any bump photos - too damn tired.

HappyTangerine · 26/03/2009 18:25

Oh Doggus I'm so sorry. I kept checking your other thread for news and was so annoyed with your insensitive gp yesterday. Please take care of yourelf and hope to see you back v soon. Sending you lots of love-will reply on the other thread as well.

spongebrainbigpants · 26/03/2009 18:38

I am officially an idiot and posted on the wrong thread - sorry for messing up your important dates thread!

"Hi everyone, just marking my place - finding it hard to keep up with this thread and my post-natal one!

I'm nine weeks now, have a private scan booked for Monday just for some reassurance that all is going well.

Hope you're all good. "

spongebrainbigpants · 26/03/2009 18:40

doggus, I'm so sorry - you were my scan buddy a couple of weeks ago . I saw your other thread and had everything crossed. Take care of yourself.

BellaCullen · 26/03/2009 18:58

doggus so sorry about your news
wishing you all the best for another pg soon.
Take care and rest well.x

DevilsAdvocaat · 26/03/2009 19:27

gah hc! that sounds truly awful. my sickness is def worse this time but hadn't been sick for at least a week until yesterday. was sick again today but am hoping it was just because i've been running around too much recently rather than me getting my ms back iykwim.

how do you cope with 5 months of it? i hope your family are very supportive. i have found it hard just the last 6 weeks or so.

WOW sugarkane! that's the kind of news that everyone hopes for

tiredness is kicking in again. keep waking really early in the morning. seems like no matter how early i go to bed it's never enough. have started to struggle in my sign class which runs on a monday from 7-9.30. trying to remember anything when you have a spongy pregna brain is hard enough, let alone learning something totally new. it runs until july i think so i'm hoping the tiredness will ease in the second trimester.

stroopwafel · 26/03/2009 20:34

doggus so sorry to hear your news. Sharing a tear with you here... I've also heard that you can be extra fertile after an mc, as several friends have over the last yr and then caught the next egg IYKWIM. Wishing you all the best for the next pg...

rubyslippers · 26/03/2009 21:00
