Oooh Barbarelly you are back - yay!! OMG next week is so soon!!! Do they know if you can keep the LOs together or will it depend on the day?

And wow 4.4lbs is amazing - I was told last week that my LO is only about 4lbs (a bit small really for its age) so you are doing better than me and you have 3 in there!!!

BabyBolat · 25/02/2009 14:31

I LOVE Diagnosis Murder - reminds me of my uni days!!!!

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 14:32

God I love daytime TV. Such hammy acting. No reports on the pg lady though - that plot thread is left hanging. How can they do this to us?

Nice to see you back Barbs. We all got really worried when you went quiet. I will have a look at your tummy in a minute. Very exciting!

Mw visit went OK and baby is head down, facing my spine, 3/5 engaged, which is all good.

PuzzleRocks · 25/02/2009 14:33

3/5 - that means it is almost there!!!!

You are all having your babies early and I AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE MINE FIRST

BarbarellaNz · 25/02/2009 14:35

BabyBolat they say they might postpone the caesarean if there are any emergencies which mean there aren't enough cots. He did say though that there is still a chance they'll go to different hospitals - I really hope not(sad)

LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 14:35

BB - Glaskham's already had one

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 14:37

Barbarelly, that is a fine tummy indeed but it does have the look of a balloon about it now. It will feel so odd for you when it is empty.

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 14:39

BB, sorry, I meant that it is 2/5 engaged and 3/5 free. He's definitely on track though.

I am sure I will still be waiting in May given my past record.

LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 14:40

Barbarella - very excited for you. Made me shiver slightly when I read the date for your C-section. It does make it very real doesn't it.

How exciting. Can't wait to hear about them all. You must be dying to meet them all. And to have them on the outside. Carrying over 13lb of assorted babies must be something else (If I were you, I would pop over and pinch Boff's wheelchair while she's otherwise engaged reclining in her glidey watching telly).

And Boff - don't freak me out. When I first read your post about gunshot outside I hadn't read your previous post about telly. I thought the gunshot was real and happening somewhere in peaceful Cambridgeshire!

BarbarellaNz · 25/02/2009 14:42

LuluBai great idea about stealing Boff's wheelchair - I find myself gazing longingly at old people on mobility scooters....

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 14:46

LOL Lulu!!

Cambridgshire is hardly the crime centre of the universe, although someone did shoot out the Estate Agent's window with an air rifle once. But nobody had a heart attack and nobody gave birth - they all just shrugged and carried on talking about refitted kitchens.

LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 14:47

Yeah I remember coveting mobility scooters in the final few weeks with DD and there was only one of her!

Are your 3 very wriggly now? I remember you saying way back around the 20 week mark that you weren't feeling much movement, but wonder what it must be like now.

LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 14:49

LOL "shrugged and carried on talking about refitted kitchens".

How very English.

BabyBolat · 25/02/2009 14:49

Barbarelly you still have a bustline and a very small bottom - how have you managed that - my blump is all in

LuLu, I am ignoring that one that has already popped!!! LOL I did the same re Boffin's post - had to go back and see the diagnosis murder intro!

BabyBolat · 25/02/2009 14:50

my blump is all in one even!

BarbarellaNz · 25/02/2009 14:51

They kick away like anything now - lots of big 'boots' which cause funny looking lumps to jump out of my tummy. It's like Alien...
One is almost always wedged down the bottom and kicks me in the fanjo regularly. It's all good though

LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 14:56

BB - I was envying admiring Barbarelly's overall trimness too. Very impressive.

I realised to my horror this morning that my arms are getting fat. First it was fat knees and now fat arms. I definitely can't attribute that to baby .

So I popped DD in her pushchair and wheeled her up and down some very steep hills this morning. Real strain though as I'm pretty sure the baby's head is lowering down into my pelvis, meaning that really I waddled up and down the steep hills. Really feels like baby is starting to head in the direction of the exit now.

Midwife tomorrow, so she should be able to tell me.

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 14:56

Barbs is indeed incredibly shapely.

PuzzleRocks · 25/02/2009 14:58

Barb - Do you have names yet?

OP posts:
LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 14:59

Yes, v. envious of the Barbarella! I also find myself strangely envious of you having 3 babies at once. It scares me a little, but ooooooh how wonderful it would be to have lots of little babies, growing into a boisterous bundle of toddlers. Just gorgeous.

BabyBolat · 25/02/2009 15:00

Hi have fat arms too well I am trying to say they are just no longer toned as I haven't done any weight training for 7 months but they are just a bit fat! roll on April walks!!

BabyBolat · 25/02/2009 15:01

Three would be cute - that would also mean your family is probably near on complete - just think only haveing to be pregnant once in your entire life (ooooh heaven!!!) - realise it may not be so much for you barbarelly xxx

LuLuBai · 25/02/2009 15:07

It's also the fact that the decision of how many children to have it taken out of your hands. The assumption seems to be that two is the 'sensible' number of children to have (certainly by my MIL!, and my mother seems to think that 1 is quite sufficient thank you very much) but I have often quite fancied having more. DH and I both sort of hoped for twins this time so that the decision would be made for us!

BoffinMum · 25/02/2009 15:19

I wanted twin girls this time around, who were going to be called Grace and Rose, but can you imagine how bad the SPD would be if I was having two????

When I started off at 19 I wanted 6. I've come pretty close considering the gaps and the fact I have been through two blokes.

BTW ladies I have discovered a good heartburn cure. 8oz skimmed milk, 4 tsp Green and Blacks hot chocolate drink powder, 2 scoops vanilla ice cream all mixed up in the blender. Really nice!
