Just to reply before I catch up with all of you...

yes, she did give me an appointment. I told her that the pain was considerably worse and thought that something might have changed (maybe tilted pelvis now?) so she grudgingly gave me another appointment. I'm really tempted to cancel it though. If she's rude i'll either cry or punch her in the nose. either way not good.

i'm um going to pass on the buddy system . personal reasons. but i will try to come on line as soon as i can after the birth to let you all know.

god, that sounded bad. truth is DH doesn't really get MN so i'd rather just opt out than have to explain it all to him.

right, now to catch up (hopefully it'll be worth the pain in my ass!! )

SPD worse again today, so had to cancel physio as I simply can't see how I could physically make it to the department and there is nobody around to help me. They never do anything anyway, just bang on about pain gates and why they can't do any manipulation, and also about how there 'isn't really anything wrong with you that they can find'.

Yeah guys, I use the wheelchair for fun!!

No probs Purplemonkey, just don't keep us waiting too long to hear the happy news.

boffin - you would think we are just doing this for attention the way they act.
I've been finding that baths are helping (well, any form of heat really) i've never been so clean in my life! though i think i might be slowly cooking my bottom...

puzzle - i'm leaning that way too. though she's pretty butch so i'm not sure i could take her in the state i'm in.

Watching Quincy and the like all day is doing my head in tbh.

I have two baths a day and it is the best thing for SPD while you are in there.

With physios I think impaling them on an elbow crutch for the morning might give them a better idea of the mobility problems associated with SPD.

After my experiences, I think physiotherapy has less evidence and is less effective than iridology and colour therapy.

Welcome fatandfedup - very good MN name. I can empathise with that. Yesterday I realised that my bump is soooo huge it is actually making my boobs like fairly small (which they never are, least of all when up the duff).

Anyway, just a quick good morning everyone. Lovely to know that Boffin and Purple are delightfully fragrant, even if a little wrinkly around the toes and fingers.

Am feeling much brighter myself. Kept DD up late last night to try and break the night time waking habit. It worked!!! After going to bed at 9:30 (and me too) she slept until 7am. Yippeeeedooodaaaaaa

So with renewed vigour and liveliness we are setting off into the big wide world for the day.

ds has slept in a big boy bed since the weekend and was waking slightly later each night so was getting hopeful that it would solve his sleep problems, but last night he woke at 11.30 and was really upset so we ended up with him in our bed again. I'm happy to go through to his room once i am on mat leave, but wanted to be as awake as possible today as its my last full day at work so need to get lots done (hence why i am on mn )
