LOL Puzzle . I think HEN's quite good (term of endearement in Scotland)

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 24/02/2009 18:51

Better than KOK, at any rate...

LuLuBai · 24/02/2009 18:54

Nooo Kitty? Is that you?

(or are you just taking this thread in a direction we pledged not to go in this time?)

bronze · 24/02/2009 19:41

Evening all

I have a feeling E you talk of is dds middle name. Names after my grandmother and her mother.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 19:41

Springy - i too have no good advice (but you are under the wing of the Boff so you will be fine ) lots of luck though and you are an amazing lady who i bet can do anything so i'm sure you will be fine setting your uni alight and finishing your degree in style with George on your hip good things come to those who wait!(or so they say) so a bit of extra time in uni might be a good thing

WhatFreshHell - hope you feel better soon xx ((hugs))

Puzzle - lol at Farmyard friends please let not get onto that again

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 19:45

DD is PSP poor girl, high school may be a tad difficult lol and yes we named her before the thing came out

bronze · 24/02/2009 19:54

puzzle can you message me you email on facebook and I'll forward you the cake stuff

conkertree · 24/02/2009 19:58

babybolat - i am just catching up with today's posts, but i really need to know - is it a double decker cake as in made with the double decker chocolate bars, or as in two layers?

will go and read the rest now.

mathsmummy27 · 24/02/2009 20:00

Boff it never even occurred to me to do the same! I will now though..

My poor DD is ASRS, you can see why she needed a middle name...

I have just nested the airing cupboard. My that feels good. I have looked at work stuff and think I'll go at 38 weeks if LO not here by then.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2009 20:02

I am hiding in cyberspace and you can't find me, MathsMummy!

Everyone on MN seems to think I am Fern Britton anyway. She is thinner than me.

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 20:06

Thanks Bronze, I have just sent it to you.

Schulte · 24/02/2009 20:23

Oh poor WhatFreshHell, hope you get better quickly! Tummy bugs are rubbish at any time but when you're pregnant... I am still recovering from yesterday and that wasn't even that bad!

Amelia Charlotte is lovely, DH and I have been wondering about Charlotte for DD2's first name but I think we're stuck with Hazel. We've been calling the bump that for too long. I still have this funny feeling that everyone else thinks Hazel is a really ugly name for a plain girl though

Could there be anything better than lying in the bath watching your bump move about? I did that earlier and it was lovely, proper bonding time.

Now then, does anyone else think Springy will turn into a multi talented BoffinMum in a few years time? I think she's definitely heading that way

Schulte · 24/02/2009 20:25

Puzzle - that frog cake IS amazing. Shame I am so rubbish at baking DD will just get a very ordinary cake for her 2nd birthday.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 20:28

BUDDY UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes another one (i know i know Groan! lol )

all those who have emailed your details to me should now have the details of your Buddy loitering in your inboxes xx

Love your buddy! Have some textual intercourse! and get to know your buddy (it will probably help to remind you to let your buddy know on the big day if you start keeping in contact now ) you still have to MN though!!!

again its still not too late to join in!! for those who have'nt just drop me a mail with your details and i will partner you up

Enjoy!!!

Love N kisses ME

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 20:31

Springy is Boffin in training lol

brettgirl2 · 24/02/2009 20:38

We were talking about names and I quite liked Benjamin for a boy, until I realised his initials would be BJ

Springy I will be studying from September (although only part time) I have two taught modules of a masters left to do. I tried to finish my dissertation during my morning sickness and ended up having to get an extension (I'd never had an extension for anything in my life before and we'd been told not to even ask by our tutor I think the word 'pregnancy' must have scared him) I felt sick when I tried to read, it was just horrible. Whatever you do, don't stress yourself out and be too hard on yourself this type of thing happens - it's part of life.

Not much longer now, I can't believe that I am 34 weeks on Sunday - must think about packing that bag!

bumpalump · 24/02/2009 20:45

Evening all. Just finished packing my hospital bag....how come I have filled three sports bags and I am only planning on staying in one night???

BoffinMum · 24/02/2009 20:51

Springy is my protegee now. I want to hand on the Boffin torch to her at some point!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 24/02/2009 20:55

Bumpalump nice to hear from you 3 bags are easily filled lol would you like to join our buddy system?

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 20:59

Hi Bumpalump

I've been trying to track you down to ask if you wanted to join our buddy system.
Is this your first? I took just as much into hospital when I had DD. I only ever opened my small wash bag.

conkertree · 24/02/2009 20:59

better start working on the springysunshine household manual then springy for you, dh and little george.

amelia charlotte is very pretty. i like hazel too - whoever was mentioning it - dh isn't so keen but thats purely becuase he knows one that he doesnt like which is a shame.

we want to have our middle name after someone, but it would make our boy's name initials AMY so wondering if its a bad idea and the wee boy (if it is a boy) would be teased at school.

had a very tiring day with ds - fun though. just so nervous about finishing work on thursday and then having 8 weeks of ds and pg at least. not so worried about once this lo is born cause at least i will be more comfortable and able to run around after ds.

Schulte · 24/02/2009 21:06

Oh Bumpalump, long time no see! Depends on how big the bags are no? Imagine rocking up with one of these

SpringySunshine · 24/02/2009 21:48

Haha, LuLu, I forgot about your DH's feminine name choices - good idea to stick it in the middle of a girl's name to keep it safe

Sorry you're poorly, WFH

I'm very flattered, but there's no way I'll ever been a Boffin type! The woman's a force of nature & I'm well... not! & I totally forgot about the household manual! This is exactly what I'm talking about

Bicnod · 24/02/2009 22:34

Hello April mums... found the thread, hurrah

I've got my first NCT class tomorrow... eek. Not quite sure what to expect.

Baby bicnod is still ridiculously active and constantly getting his/her foot under my ribs and pushing HARD, then when I try to move the foot he/she punches me in the bladder. Nice.

Puzzle - thanks for the call on the spring mums thread... I'm off to bed now but will email tomorrow to get on the buddy system... happy to be buddied with a fellow straggler as I'm rubbish at keeping up with this thread!

Love to you all x x x

PuzzleRocks · 24/02/2009 22:48

Thanks Bicnod, Babypuzzle seems to like punching me in the bottom. Enjoy your class tomorrow. x
