congrats glas

good lukc lb exciting

Cosmogirl · 21/02/2009 09:31

Thanks for new thread GYo. Wow, what an exciting thread already.

Glask - huge congrats. Ruby is here! What a good weight too. You are a couple of weeks behind me and I doubt mine is over 4 lbs - guess you never know though... Hope you are feeling ok and enjoying your new addition.

LB - Good luck - hope we have another wagon baby soon - so exicting!

Playing - good to see you. I am sure everything will be ok - but must be worrying. They seem to be often wrong with these growth indications - depends on way you are carrying, position of baby etc..

Anyone heard anything from Happy Nappies?

DH's 30th went ok but I ended up with bag tummy after the meal and pend most of the night going up and down from bed to the loo. Was a bit scary at first because I thought it could be contractions - lots of pain and spasms across bottom of bump. I guess it was just my body reacting to too much rich food at a late hour which is just isn't used to these days. Feel much better this morning (as ever) but now feel motivated to finish packing hossy bag and get organised as I panicked last night that I 'wasn't ready to go into labour'!!

Cosmogirl · 21/02/2009 09:36

Could I swap mobile numbers with someone, so I can update the wagon if anything happens? Not on the FB group and have this random email address I set up which doesn't give away real name if anyone wants to email me: [email protected]

Thanks (see I am getting organised already!)

Cosmogirl · 21/02/2009 09:40

Kayz - forgot to say, glad X-ray went well. Did you say something about being broody again - already?! You are a mad woman!! I can't wait to NOT be pregnant and doubt I will consider it again for oo,,,forever....

PuzzleRocks · 21/02/2009 10:16

Hi

Diege · 21/02/2009 10:31

Speak on Sunday when I get back xxx

ohsnap · 21/02/2009 10:33

Well done Glask, glad you're both alright and that IS a good weight, is Ruby in SCBU?

GruffaloSoldier · 21/02/2009 10:34

Well my family went this morning which is always sad. My sis and family live 4 hours away. The next time I see them I should have a baby!My sister got so much done here she was like the duracell bunny. She decorated our kitchen, put blinds up etc etc and our home is transformed!Still lots to do though!

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 21/02/2009 10:37

Morning!

Hope Glask and Ruby are doing well.

Cosmo - happy 30th to your DH. Sorry you were so ill but glad you're feeling better this morning.

LB - that's awful about ur tens - sorry
Hope you've managed to get it sorted.

Kay - have you had any more thoughts about your camping business?

All ok here. Didn't go to bed til 1am though - just didn't feel like it! Also starting to get fed up with feeling like crying for no good reason! Fine most of the time but every couple of days will have a couple of hours when I just can't stop crying! That was last night though so I should be fine today

Off for our 24hrs in London later. Really looking forward to seeing The Mousetrap

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 21/02/2009 10:43

X-posted with loads of you!!!

Diege - have a fab time!

Gruff - your sis sounds fab! Could she head my way? Know what you mean about now not seeing her until you have Gruffette. My bf up in York told me this week that she's booked some time off work at the end of May to come and see the three of us!

OhSnap - hi! Have you any plans for the wkend?

ohsnap · 21/02/2009 10:58

Hi Ses, this weekend I will mostly be cuddling DD2 I think. Am taking her to OOH doc this afternoon as she was up in the night again last night and she had a load of waxy snotty stuff coming out of her ear so I'm guessing she's got an infection, at least that explains why she's been so grumpy recently!

Do you get more teary when you're tired? I know I do even when I'm not pg!

Have fun Diege, sounds lovely!

Your sister sounds like a real hero Gruff!

I've been temping for the last few days, it's looking good so far, I shall be testing on the 4th if no AF by then.....

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 21/02/2009 11:06

Oh poor DD2 Definitely a time for lots of cuddles.

Teariness is worse when I'm tired but often starts in the afternoon and yesterday I didn't feel tired! Also makes me feel bad as it upsets DH to see me like it. As I say though it's normally no good reason and can go as suddenly as it arrives!

Astarte · 21/02/2009 11:25

Congratulations Glask Hope you and your LO are doing well and are home soon x

LB I can't believe you're in labour I'm soooo excited for you
Hopefully you have the baby in your arms already!!

kayzr · 21/02/2009 11:53

YAY LB for labour and BOO for shoddy Tens machine!!

Cosmo, you read right. I am really broody, I can't wait to be pg again. We're waiting until DS2 is about 2 though before we start trying.

Ses, we would like to set it up but we'd need a business loan and we can't get one at the minute so it's on the back burner for a while.

idreamofbeanie · 21/02/2009 12:00

Wow - congratulations Glask, over 4lbs sounds like a great weight for a LO 9 weeks early. So glad you are both well and hope you have Ruby home soon.

Good luck LB - hope you have LO in your arms soon.

Morning everyone, off out to buy some new bras today as I'm growing out of the ones I have plus I need something to sleep in - boobs are soooo sore. Just had an early lunch to hopefully keep nausea at bay while we are out - fingers crossed!

kayzr · 21/02/2009 12:04

Oh yeah while we were at the shops earlier someone asked when I was due!!!!

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 21/02/2009 12:12

That's a shame Kay. Did you consider a dog walking business at some point too or am I getting mixed up? Might be easier to set up?

IDOB - I bought some new bras again yesterday! Sore boobs was one of my main early symptoms and is really uncomfortable. Fortunately it gets better! Mine have now developed stretch marks though No stretch marks on my belly (yet?!) but stretch marked norks look disgusting! I now own a 36F bra when 6 months ago I was wearing 34D!

Right must go. Dog minder will be here soon to take them for the night. She's really good and although she lives in a 2 bed first floor flat, she takes them out on at least a 5 mile walk each day. We tell them they're going to Boot Camp!
Then we're off on the train to London! I'll be lurking via my phone when I can for news on LB

kayzr · 21/02/2009 12:16

Nope that wasn't me Ses. Could be fun though!!

Have a good time in London!!

kayzr · 21/02/2009 12:44

Glask says Ruby is doing well and is perfect in every way.

Starshinetiger · 21/02/2009 13:24

Congratulations Glask! ruby sounds good weight for 9 weeks early and lovely to hear she is perfect in every way!
Good luck LB - glad no offence taken in my advice yesterday, hope some of it helps.
Sorry to hear about shoddy tens machine, hope you got it sorted.
DH has made a start on getting DS new room ready and we will finish it while he's sleeping this afternoon and then get him in there tonight hopefully. so exciting!
Hope you've all got sunshine like we have here.

tinkislittlemissshopping · 21/02/2009 13:38

kayzr · 21/02/2009 18:01

Just heard from Glask. Ruby actually weighs just 4lbs. She is doing really well and hopefully will be home in about 3 weeks.

kayzr · 22/02/2009 04:02

Morning,

DS1 isn't very well. He has been sick 3 times since 2. Just rung the out of hours GP and there is a D&V bug going round. My mum had it last week and we popped to the garden centre with her yesterday morning. So he may have picked it up there. We've been told to give him plenty of small sips of water.

kayzr · 22/02/2009 07:50

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww Glask has sent me a picture of Ruby. She is gorgeous!!! Glask had a CS so she said they have said she should hopefully be out on Tuesday and Ruby in about 3 weeks. Glask has started expressing so Ruby is being tube fed that.

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 22/02/2009 08:08

Morning Kay! Thanks for updates on Glask and Ruby. Thinking of them.
Poor DS1 doesn't sound at all nice and I hope he gets better soon.

The Mousetrap was good and we had a nice meal beforehand. Hotel ok - clean but bed really hard and uncomfortable.

Also I've had this stitch like pain that comes and goes over the last couple of months. Always in the same place and normally lasts about 24hrs. In the night it reappeared, waking me up a few times. Any ideas? I wondered whether it's anything to do with where the placenta is? Baby's still moving.

Right DH is out of the shower now so I'd best get up!
