Like that one better GYo? Am slightly nervous now, as once you pop, I'm top of the list!

My labour with DS started with period type pains at ca. 4am and then definitely knew it was labour by about 2pm and he was born at just before 9pm same day. Couldn't tell you if I had periody type pains leading up to that day though (was in blissful ignorance I think).

Sorry haven't been on for a while, have been loitering, but trying to get stuff done at home and have some chillout time.

OS - sorry for AF, but glad to hear your Granny is improving.
STT - glad to hear you are starting to feel better and fab news that you had your scan and all looked well.
KK - so sorry for what you're going through, but really glad you have the CVS tomorrow and will get results early next week. Keeping everything crossed for you.
BB - think I said it already, but in case not, Congratulations on your BFP - fab news.
Astarte - love those shoes - how lovely of your DH. Think it's fab that you're back in non-maternity wear already. Hope you got a lovely bit of peace this afternoon.

Sorry, can't remember anything else that has gone on. My pg brain is really mush! Starting to get achy here, so wonder if that's me limbering up - only 37+3, so still early days. Have had a pretty chilled afternoon this afternoon, after yesterday's task of sorting the study/playroom. Still 1 hour to relax before I collect DS from CM. He was an absolute angel this morning - went to friend's house and he played so nicely (compared with last Friday when friends came to ours and he snatched toys and shouted at the other children) - was quite reassured that he could play nicely (bless DS as he's usually so lovely)!

Rambling now - off to relax in front of telly for an hour.

P.s. am I subconsciouly trying to kickstart labour - had curry for lunch (haven't eaten it for months because it was giving me horrid sickness/heartburn) and watched Dr Who I had V+'d at Christmas - Cybermen making me jump miles?

Whole night's uninterrupted sleep sounds fab Kayz Good on you.

I think I am averaging 4 or 5 trips to the loo in the night now. Turning over in bed is also really painful and can't lay on my back now because of the weight of the baby. I suppose it is all good practise for no sleep when baby gets here ....

Can't believe Playing has her baby - seems not so long ago when we were all chatting on the conception thread about when we should or shouldn't leap off the wagon.

Think I am going to try and have a chill out day today and sit on the sofa and watch a couple of films. Have done a far bit of cleaning this week, and even though I still have 15 items on my list, they can wait!

36 week MW appt tomo morning so will hopefully find out what position the baby is in and if head is engaged etc...

Kayz- hurray for good sleeping, sounds like things are really turning around for you sleep wise!

Cosmo- When i read you post I thought I could have written it! Im sorry you are suffering on the loo visit side of things, its a real pain when its continuous and especially when its painful to turn over and get out of bed. I really do feel your pain. ... Does it wake up your DH? This was part of the row with my DH which wasnt very pleasant...

Glad you have chill time planned today. Hide your list and treat yourself today and try and relax. I've found my hypnobirthing CD has really helped me find time to relax (40mins a day of lying on sofa doing nothing else but closing my eyes). But its taken me 4wks to relax into maternity leave and become a bit more relaxed about when the baby comes etc. Think I've turned full circle because Im actually feeling slightly panicked today at thought of my hectic schedule today I have NCT coffee at 11am, followed but a cup of tea at a friends at 2pm.

Crikey, Im wittering on. Better go and get a shower.

TINKS, dds went upstairs for bed at 7pm the day after getting back from hospital ; woke them at 11 for 'dream feed', then usual newborn waking patterns until 7am when I woke them for first feed. With dd1 I kept her downstairs in moses basket for naps in day time, but with others followed GF and they had all naps upstairs in room with blackout blinds.
Midwife's appointment this afternoon - breathlessness getting really bad so will ask for early bloods to test for anaemia I think.

Not had chance to catch up for a couple of days....

I'm joining the group with not much sleep. Was really tired last night so went to bed at 9pm. My back is really playing up. Lower back still after driving but yesterday the pain across my upper back and shoulder blades was awful. Couldn't get to sleep until about 10.30 as I couldn't get comfy and then DH woke me up when he came to bed at 11! Struggled to get back to sleep before midnight and then woke up in pain across my shoulders. Thought it was probably about 5am and looked at my clock and it was 2.26am! Again a struggle to get comfy but got back to sleep eventually only to be woken up by cramp in my calf at 3.40am!!! Then slept off and on the rest of the night.

This morning my right shoulder is really painful and I'm feeling v frustrated as I've got a lot to do and don't want to stop!! Working from home this morning and then meant to be at a meeting in Eastbourne this afternoon. I may try a couple of paracetamol but they don't normally do much for me...

Sorry for the long moan...
