Hello everyone

1st March! only 17 more days (or less hopefully!) Thanks for asking Cosmo. HB got better eventually and I managed to eat with our friends. We've actually had another huge row today though- have posted on our facebook grp as I wonder who might see stuff here.... needed to rant really... link to FB here

Astarre- lovely shoes and what a lovely idea to have a nice gift like that. bless your DH Sorry to hear of projective vomiting... that must have been bit of a shock at 5am!

OS- glad your granny is a bit better AF is certainly doing weird things for you- keep us posted... wish I had some experience to offer on temping.

Cosmo- i am feeling your pain about waiting for labour to start- this really is a hard time waiting. Sorry you have had a falling out with DH too. Hope its better today.

Diege- your kitchen sounds fab! and hurray for ordering a dyson, hope you find is as good as I have done

Ses- hurray for heating. did you decide about the mattress?

Hello Kayz, Teuch (good to see you on!)

Thinking of you playing

Have posted on FB GYo!

ohsnap · 01/03/2009 17:27

Afternoon all, sorry you're still rowing GYo, will post on FB in a bit.

Nice shoes Astarte !

Enjoy your dyson Diege, your house will be spotless in no time!

AF is definitely here now, I don't know WHAT that little bleed was last week .
Will start taking my prolactin lowering drugs as soon as my cold has gone, they have cold-like side effects and I don't fancy a double dose! Might give this month a miss from ttc to avoid a Christmas baby!

No news about Granny yet today so assume she's still well! DD1 woke at 2am and didn't go back to sleep until 4am, and in our bed which she's never done before. She and DH both fell asleep leaving me about 8" of space and they were both snoring so I came down and slept on the sofa - luxury!

Idiot!!!

What a brilliant day to get a BFP!! What a birthday present!!

I'm fine, tired but fine. Looking after 2 boys is slighty tiring.

So how are you?? Any morning sickness?

BBisfinallyPG · 01/03/2009 18:00

aw yeah i did see bless i love the name dylan!

yeah had a few bouts nothing too serious, main symptoms have been tender boobs! have had the odd dizzy spell but in a weird way im enjoying it, makes it all seem real?!

i honestly couldnt be happier neither could DP, although i'l be happier when we get past danger zone as it were, its so nervewracking!

how have you all been?? wheres NJ these days? i cant believe playings having her baby right now! and cosmo so close! its so surreal!

kayzr · 01/03/2009 18:03

Nat is generally pre-occupied with her 3 boys. She pops on now and again to see how we are.

Its so good to have you back. I've been poppingover to the conception wagon now and again to see if you are there.

BBisfinallyPG · 01/03/2009 18:20

aw thanks its good to be back, glad NJs well.

i just had to stay away till i was pg as it was so much stress! now of course theres nothing id rather think about and talk about so il be here loads haha! i am defo paranoid about anything going wrong tho, although ive no specific reason to be, silly me!

kayzr · 01/03/2009 18:55

Right better go and get the boys ready for bed.

kookykid · 01/03/2009 19:19

Teuch - thanks for that - did your sister find it hard to go through the CVS? I am starting to consider it, but still very undecided.

I hope evrything is going ok for playing!

Gyo - I hope things are getting sorted.

lardybump · 01/03/2009 20:23

Hello everyone sorry i have not been around so much but have been doing a good impression of a dairy cow !!

DS (that still sounds odd to me) is a bit better now. We got some infacol and give it to him 20 mins before each feed and i feed him every two hours during the day and on demand at night. He has put on 4 and 1/2 oz since Monday. He lost 8 oz after birth going from 8lb 12 to 8lb 4 but is now 8lb 8 and 1/2 (well was on Friday) which is really good.

DD is all over him still which is nice but she has no time for me at all. I know it is because I am having to spend a lot of time with ds so dp is with dd but I miss her and I miss our cuddles and kisses I am not getting any at the moment......

Congrats BB and welcome back.

I am still loving my son big time and although sleep is very rare i wouldn't change him for the world.......

Hi to everyone else sorry about he me me post...

Ohsnap so sorry about AF!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/03/2009 20:41

evening all!!

Just popping in again... i've been very busy back and forth to the hospital as i'm sure you can only imagine!! Kids are back from london too so its hectic at home too!! DS is going back to nursery tomorrow and DH has to go back to work on tuesday so its going to get even tougher as of tomorrow!!

Ruby is doing well, she's managing to latch and have a food few sucks before she doses off, but she's getting more each time she tries- and her latch isn't 'supposed' to develop until 34wks gestation so she's doing well to say we'd only be 33+2 today!!

My milk is coming in strong- i can get enough for a full feed for her in 8mins on the breast pump, and she's now on full expressed breast milk through her feeding tube which is good!! I feel very happy knowing i am supplying all her milk so soon, sometimes it can take a couple of weeks for a mothers supply to be at the babies needs after a section and having to express- so i'm pretty sure we'll be fine on the BF front as i had wanted!! I'm getting up in the night to pump too which is starting to take its toll on my body after nearly 3 years without night-feeds!!

As for me.... my staples came out on wednesday and my 'wound' has been feeling much better since, and is healing pretty well. Its still very tender and can be very sore at times, but i'm coping....

The reality that my baby is here but not 'with' me has started to hit home though. I'm finding it very hard and very emotional- i've cried every day since she was born because i miss her so much, more so the last few days, i'm feeling much closer to her and much more involved as i do her bath and changeing whenever i'm there, and i'm starting to feed her too, but then when i leave i'm lost without her... its the hardest pain i've had to deal with... and i'm finding it really tough... thing is i dont really have anyone to talk to, DH is just as torn by it all, my mum doesn't understand, and i barely have any time to just collect my thoughts....

sorry that's a very me, me, me post but i just can't let it out anywhere else....

lardybump · 01/03/2009 20:48

Glask I am so sorry you have to go through this and that you feel so alone. You post has made me realise how lucky I am and how hard it must be for you. I can not imagine being without Owen and my heart goes out to you....

You are however a very stong lady and your Ruby needs you to continue to be strong... Look how well she is doing and that is down to you.......

I am sending you all my love Glask it is no wonder you are feeling so emotional many people would of crumpled under the weight of what you are going through!!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 01/03/2009 20:57

Thanks LB- i feel stupid that i started writing that post all positive because of how well things are going and ended it crying!!

I know i'm so so lucky that she's here and she's well considering what could have happened... but at the same time its so hard being away form her, with the other DC's they were never away from me, and its such a new feeling for me. I never once imagined i'd have her early, it never once crossed my mind that i'd be in this situation.

I think its also more difficult trying to keep things as normal as possible for the other DC's, I dont know properly how i can devide my time so i can get enough rest for myself but then spend enough time with the DC's that they dont feel resented becasue of Ruby's arrival, and enough time with her so she can feed sooner and get home sooner... its just a vicious circle.

SesHopesSpringwillbeheresoon · 01/03/2009 22:48

Hi! Just catching up before I head off to bed.

BB - so good to "see" you... And with a BFP too!! Huge congrats!!!

LB - really pleased DS is doing so well

GYo - sorry you're having a tough time. Sending you a sneaky wagon hug.

Glask - good to hear from you. I can only imagine how hard it must be leaving Ruby at the hospital each day. I think you are doing amazingly well and great that she's taking your expressed milk.

OhSnap - sorry for AF. Hope the colds in your house clear up and that your granny continues to improve.

Hi to everyone else - Kay, Gruff, Diege, Kooky, Cosmo

kayzr · 02/03/2009 07:54

Morning,

LB, I'm so happy that DS is doing well. I know what you mean about DS sounding wierd. I thought that with DS2 for a few weeks.

GYo, sorry about the rows. I know we rowed more when I was pg than we ever have when I'm not pg.

Glask, I really can't imagine how horrible it is leaving Ruby at the hospital. You are doing brilliantly expressing all the time.

I've decided to take the plunge and dye my hair. I've wanted to dye it black for years but never had the courage. So Mum is doing it for me on Wednesday. We're going to go and see her pigs she got on Saturday.

DS1 slept all night again which was nice. DS2 woke at 3, it is strange how you get used to their sleeping patterns. He has normally always woken at 5 so these mornings waking at 3 feel more tiring.

Hope you are all well.
