The other thread was too long and wouldn't let me add a new message.

I am 8+3 and as my previous m/c's have been at 9 weeks.

OP posts:

Afternoon ladies!

My TPT this week is: 7 3/4 sheets. I think thats up by half a sheet... I also got on the scales on Sunday and was pleased to see that i have still only gained 4lbs - even though it looks far more!

Just remember ladies that as we get closer to the D-Day the measurements SHOULD go down as the baby moves down. Just something positive to look forward to.

My friend had her ds2 this morning, un-planned homebirth. MW arrived moments before he was born. Am so looking forward to a cuddle.

Great nuchal measurements Neddie.

Whoops!

Welcome to Letsgo

Gonnabamumma · 17/03/2009 13:24

Hi ladies hope everyone is well today.

I got my test results back and have a 1 in 7400 risk factor for downs, so am really happy. Am 14 weeks tomorrow and am still in my normal clothes (although getting tight) and haven't had any MS, so when am I going to start feeling pregnant?? Sorry to moan when others are feeling so poorly still. My next scan isn't until 11 May, so feels like ages to wait. Just want to feel like there is really a baby on the way.

Have just been catching up on the posts, am in Dubai working for a few days and am a bit bored. Loved the post about wanting a baby dinosaur, made me laugh out loud!

iamamummy · 17/03/2009 16:46

that was supposed to say havnt addressed evryone

TPT measurement 8 1/2 i think im up 1 and a 1/2 sheets!!!!

blue76 · 17/03/2009 17:27

hey folks, love the posts about courgettes and dinosaurs!

Welcome letsgo

Good luck with the scan tomorrow kooky

I'm 7 3/4 sheets today (up 3/4 sheet). Bump seems to feel higher now, though I've read that baby starts to move up from pelvis around now. I was showing at 7 weeks with DD2. DD1 was only 16 months when I became pg again. But that was 10 years ago now and bump's nowhere near as big this time around. Maybe stomach muscles been given time to recover???

Could be imagining this but I think I may have felt baby shift a bit today...I'm 13+2 so maybe not, though mw did say that things can be felt from 13 weeks...

audreyraines · 17/03/2009 17:54

TPT 8 1/4 - up 3/4 a sheet as well! am definitely starting to pop out though so makes sense.

LJ29 · 17/03/2009 18:03

Well I'm just very confused about TPT. Last week I was 9.5 and this morning I was only 9 . I have definitely not lost weight and in fact have eaten 3 rather large cream cakes in the last week! I already have a significant amount of pre-existing podge so I'm not complaining!

AprilMeadow · 17/03/2009 18:32

Iamamummy - sorry crap at responding, so busy at the mo. The tickets are TOTALLY yours. They have your name on them will email you my address details soonish.

ladylush · 17/03/2009 18:45

Iamamummy - I think there may be some H+S legislation about not working nights when you're pg. Or maybe that's only in nursing. Was thinking you could use that if you want to get out of nights.

ladylush · 17/03/2009 18:46

LJ - it could've been bloating?

iamamummy · 17/03/2009 18:47

ah great thanks april - DP just asks me about them all the time, il send off a cheque soon as i hear from you. hope you are feeling better.

i am feeling soooo sick its unreal was not this bad with ds and had MS a lot earlier from 6 weeks with him. maybe its a girl.......only 4 weeks until i can find out

audreyraines · 17/03/2009 18:49

iamamummy, sorry you're feeling sick, but it's really a relief to me to know i'm not hte only one! i am so proud when i manage to eat a small bowl of anything that's not fruit or toast.

iamamummy · 17/03/2009 18:49

ladylush - thats interesting....il have to have a look into it. I have only been working for the company for a month and they dont know i am pg yet.

audreyraines · 17/03/2009 18:50

ps. i had my ultrasound 2 weeks ago and stillhaven't heard any results for downs screening - SLOW! apparently if the results are high risk that get in touch quickly, so i guess no news is good news, but still i'd like to know ...

iamamummy · 17/03/2009 18:50

audrey - i know its really bad but i am getting by on fanta at the moment although tonight i am opting for a bottle of cherry coke. sorry your feeling sick too. i do find this quite reassuring though as i still havnt had a scan and i thought the sickness was tailing off....hopefully just beanies way of letting me know he/she is A ok!

audreyraines · 17/03/2009 18:53

i would be happy for beanie to let me know once a day that she was okay, not on and off ALL day!!

surely she is craving more than toast and pineapple!>?

ladylush · 17/03/2009 18:53

This is the first week my appetite has been great and I've really enjoyed my food [14 weeks tomorrow). What a relief. Sorry you are still feeling really sick though Audrey Must be hard with a lo. Maybe you could give that anti-nausea treatment a go?

audreyraines · 17/03/2009 18:54

yeah, i tried taking bucastem this afternoon. you are meant to put it between your upper lip and gum, and let it dissolve. the problem is that the taste of it dissolving made me vomit!!

peachygirl · 17/03/2009 20:33

Sorry to hear about the sickness everyone.

I think DH has had that bucastem audreyraines, not for MS though!
I got a great top through off ebay today. so now my stash of winter clothes are slowly becoming more summery.

ladylush · 17/03/2009 22:42

Oh dear audrey Not a great design that anti-emetic

ladylush · 17/03/2009 23:49

First week doing TPT - 8 sheets.

blue76 · 18/03/2009 07:04

One of my colleagues is 34 weeks and has started suffering from ms again. I'd told her about my remedy (tonic water). She didn't seem to take me seriously, so the next day I thrust a bottle in her hand. I saw her at the end of the day and she said, 'omg, that really worked!'

I'm convinced that tonic water held off the vomiting. I lived on it for the first 11 weeks. I also drank it when pg with DD2 and didn't suffer then either.

Just thought I'd mention it again in case anyone wants to try it!!

audreyraines · 18/03/2009 07:34

blue,i always used to have tonic water for a queasy stomach or a drink in Australia called Bitter Lemon which is kind of similar. Does the tonic you have contain quinine? I just felt a bit cautious about that, but I'd definitely like to try it! (although I've tried just about everything else). I tried ginger beer, but it was just too sweet for me. I've drank a bit of chinotto, which I don't think particularly helped, but I like it anyway
