And I always have to remember to check the thermostat before bed as if it is left to DH I wake up at 3am to blazing radiators and a banging headache.

PuzzleRocks · 03/02/2009 21:27

Obviously I didn't mean ilovely. Wedding dresses by Apple.

Yikes - I haven't been onto facebook in months. It started to scare me when I discovered that my first kiss and my first bj were fb friends (the former took place in yorkshire and the latter on holiday in Portugal, so fairly freaky that they now KNOW each other!)

evening all - just scanned todays posts - home with ds and it was a bit of a riot so no time to log on during the day.

He was in a bit of a funny mood - was still good fun, but he seemed to resort to slight tantrums if he didnt get his way which is new - hope he's not getting to a difficult age just before this lo arrives - but i guess he cant stay as a placid 1 year old for ever - guess he needs to test the boundaries etc as part of growing up.

lulu - i admire your ability to multitask with your dd - i onlky seem to manage housework and playing when am with ds.

boffinmum - your mw sounds great. i had been told about the swallowing last time and admit that i did give it a go since i was getting very impatient. dont think it did enough to make me repeat it this time. was 6 days over and expect the sweep etc worked better.

frekkles - great about the flat - sounds really lovely.

springy - how exciting. love weddings too. sounds like most suggestions have been made (and since you and dp are not Scottish - I guess I cant contribute kilts to the threads skills in preparing for your wedding). Definitely agree that you should go away for a few days including your wedding night though.

auld - sounds a bit ridiclous the ongoing saga with the teachers. must be so unsettling for the children.

on the breastfeeding/weight loss thing - I lost weight very gradually to start with, but at about 8/9 months on, I suddenly dropped a whole lot - and could suddenly fit into my skinny jeans again. mind you i was training for a marathon too so not sure whether it had to do with the bfeeding or not.

sure i have missed lots that i meant to comment on but will post now and see what else has been said in the last wee while.

LuLuBai · 03/02/2009 21:39

Yeah - pretty bizarre.

Not really enjoying this programme about kids living along. Anyone else watching it?

LuLuBai · 03/02/2009 21:41

Conkertree - I haven't done much housework today

LuLuBai · 03/02/2009 21:42

sorry kids living alone

PuzzleRocks · 03/02/2009 21:45

Nutty - DH appreciated your profile pic.

Do you ever think this thread sounds like the Waltons at night time?

Night night, Jim Bob and John Boy (of course those of you born in the 1980s will not understand this Waltons reference at all!) look here

BoffinMum · 03/02/2009 23:01

try this link instead uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hekGHsQFeHc

BoffinMum · 03/02/2009 23:02

Oh poopants I have really messed this up. I will try again.

Here are the Waltons

SpringySunshine · 03/02/2009 23:25

Ooh, I want a vibrating vagina

KittyCat, that dress is nice. & yours sounds it, Nutty - stupid MN making everything too small! I shall look forward to seeing it properly on Facebook. My only concern about both of those dresses is the white thing... I mean white dresses are gorgeous, but I'm going to be massive & it might look a bit odd, perhaps? What does everyone think? (Nutty, your hair looks fab in that picture - lovely colour!)

frekkles, good idea about keeping quiet about the 'w' word. I shall be full of calm & serenity. Yes. Good that your hernia thing isn't anything to worry about - just as well if you've not got an appointment yet! It's really nice that you seem happier. Long may it last!

LuLu, that is strange about your Facebook connections! The weirdest for me is that my sort-of (paedophile) ex from when I was 14 is friends with one of my sister's (male) friends & now keeps trying to add me. You definitely win!

conker, I so wish we were Scottish I love kilts at weddings even more than I love kilts in general. Maybe next lifetime.

I wanted to watch that programme about the kids living alone, but forgot it was on & went out. Damn me. I shall have to 4OD it.

DP & I had a nice meal out, then had a snowball fight in the car park. Lots of people ended up laughing at us, because we looked so stupid - I was particularly elegant, as you can imagine. & still insist that hitting me on the bump doesn't count as it's not part of the target! I'm right, aren't I?

SpringySunshine · 03/02/2009 23:27

& Boffin, I did understand that Waltons reference, thank you! Even though I was born in 1988!

BoffinMum · 03/02/2009 23:32

One of my students friended me on FB, and that was all well and good, but then I found out from the cleaner when she left college that she had managed to leave behind a strap on dildo in her room. I could never look at her the same after that. Even on FB.

Really, you student people ought to be more careful.

SpringySunshine · 03/02/2009 23:50

How do you accidentally leave a dildo? I wonder how embarrassed she was when she realised...

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 06:04

Morning all - will catch up properly at work just a quick post to say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWALISWAN!

When is your MN Party Swaliswan / Nutty

Wow - almost 500 posts in just over a day - looks like we might meet your 3 day target Nutty xxxx

LuLuBai · 04/02/2009 08:20

Happy Birthday Swaliswan.

Boffin that is funny. I wonder how you accidentally leave that. Surely if you don't want it any more you discreetly bag and bin it?

We've had loads more snow overnight. It is now looking truly properly snowy as its coating every branch and leaf on every tree.

DH says he doesn't want me to walk anywhere (fear of slipping with bump) or drive anywhere either. I'm out of washing up liquid and the nearest shop is several miles away

Methinks I will have to risk it.
