Here goes-I got a BFP on DPO 11 which makes me due 1st October. Was going to avoid the antenatal thread until I was completely sure but have already done 3 tests and am still not convinced. Come on and join in the worry fun.

had some bleeding when I woke up this morning, I didn't have that with DD. It seems to have stopped now. Will give the early pregnancy unit a ring and see how it goes from there

sammysam · 10/02/2009 08:09

Keeping my fingers crossed for you varicose x x x

MrsPuddleduck · 10/02/2009 09:54

Hello - just got a BFP this morning - reckon due date is 17th October (ish).

I may lurk for a couple of weeks as I am still in shock and am not sure what to do with myself!

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 09:56

varicose-let us know how you get on.

sammysam-I didn't get my bloods back until 16 weeks and as they were high risk I had an amnio at this stage. She has enough time to be tested if she wants to.

Sick, sick, sick sick but am still clinging on to the hope that everything is still OK. When I had a MC the symptoms stopped at 9 weeks so if I can feel ill for another 3 weeks then that will be quite promising. Have just had some soup being as though my breakfast refused to stay in my stomach.

Big wave to everyone and hope all OK.

Can I ask when you phoned the doctor to confirm etc? I can't remember but it feels too early at the moment.

Thanks

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 10:15

I haven't phoned anyone yet. The Dr isn't interested so we have to make an appointment with the MW which I am going to do at 9 weeks. When I had the MC my symptoms disappeared at 9 weeks so if I still feel icky then I will see the MW. I do remember her being slightly annoyed at filling all the forms in before the MC and then having to fill them all in again when I fell PG with DD2.

Thansk HC - feeling sick is SUCH a good thing - it means you have loads of pregnancy hormones. I can't remember when it kicked in for me. Although I must admit I have been feeling slightly sick in the afternoons - I had to take to my bed on Sunday.

I have changed doctors since DS2 - so may just phone up and see what their procedure is - do you think that's OK?

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 10:25

Yes, phone up then you can let me know the correct procedure. I do remember that the scan waiting list was so long last time that despite me seeing the MW at 7 weeks it took until 13 weeks to get a scan.

Just phoned - told to wait a couple of weeks and then make a drs appointment and take a sample so they can get the ball rolling and book in with midwife etc.

lastboxoftampons · 10/02/2009 10:34

Hi ladies - sorry to barge in here, but was just checking up on Treats. Just read your post and I hope everything is okay. Big hugs and fingers crossed for you!

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 10:43

Think I will ring the surgery at 9 weeks and ask what to do, or I'll ask my school mum friend later.

Well it seems may not be as it seems
I'll try to keep it short as possible so bear with me if I start rambling....
Ok I had a fall Thursday (have broke my hand ) and they decided to scan me yesterday to be on the safe side. When they did the scan all they could see was a gestation sac that would tie in with a 4-5 week pregnancy. By LMP I should be approx 7 weeks pregnant. Although I did try explaining I do not have 28 day cycle as they can be as long as 42 days, it seemed they had wrote off my pregnancy as non viable. They said my HCG from Thursday was only 591 which was too low for my dates
They repeated my bloods yesterday morning and told me to call back in the evening to get my results but to expect them to drop quite considerably as it was likely I would start to miscarry
Well I called back up this morning (no results by 9 o clock last night!!!!!) to be told that my results have shot up to 2500 the midwife I spoke (not spoken to prev so she had no idea of the situation) said that the had increased significantly and they are levels that they would expect to see in a 'normal, continuing early pregnancy' They have also offered me another scan in a week time to check the progress and hopefully there will be baby in there [ praying emoticon]
Sorry this is a bit of me, me me post but i'm in complete shock xx

Cazza28 · 10/02/2009 11:29

Oh what good news pepperpots bet you must be so excited that sounds really, really promising! Hope you are not in to much pain with the hand.

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 11:39

pepperpots-I'm sorry about your fall and hand but have to say the results sound very promising. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Rollercoaster is putting it mildy
I just need to wait until Monday when I will find out exactly is going on
I think I will just lurk for a little while on here instead of posting as I can't let myself get too carried away for now.
I wish you all successfull and healthy pregnancies and hope to be back with good news xx

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 11:44

Well Done Pepperpots. I wonder how much the medics actually know sometimes.

Just been to Doc, they have to send off a sample to make sure I am pregnant then eventually the midwife will contact me.

Made a complete idiot of myself as I can't seem to stop crying today. I'm supposed to be in work at 1.30 and not sure I can face it especially if I can't stop crying!

Does anyone else feel like they have antenatal depression? Dr told me to come back in 2 weeks if I still feel this low!

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 12:24

Oh Chuckles-I usually get emotional when PG but perhaps that is when the sickness passes and I've had a scan. I tend to get depression a year after my DD's were born. Chin up and you can make it to work.

I cried yesterday when I watched Lark Rise to Candleford - it was a sure sign for me

ChucklesMcMummy · 10/02/2009 12:56

I've been emotional all the way through, but today I can't stop crying for more than 5 mins. Have phoned in sick with a stomach bug, hope they don't guess!

LittleMissBliss · 10/02/2009 12:58

Pepperpots sorry to hear about your hand. I'm wishing Monday to come super quick for you. The new hormone levels sound really promosing so fingers crossed all is well.

doggus · 10/02/2009 13:06

Pepperpots - keeping all crossed for you and roll on Monday...

Am ill today with a cold picked up from ds (he has been in our bed all night the last few days as he's poorly and insists on sleeping with his head under my chin which means I get his cold and no sleep!).

I'm not crying, instead I am just FURIOUS the whole time.

Cazza28 · 10/02/2009 13:20

doggus I feel much the same as you really and hungry all the time I keep wanting to eat but have to stop my self, feel like I have already eaten a whole fruit basket today!

idreamofbeanie · 10/02/2009 13:30

I've just finished lunch and am already planning what to eat next. I am just soooo hungry and tired and eating is the only thing that keeps the sickness at bay. Really just want to curl up on the sofa with a pile of food and have a little cry.

Pepperpots- I'm so glad you've had some better news. We are all hoping you see a healthy little heart on Monday.
