Here goes-I got a BFP on DPO 11 which makes me due 1st October. Was going to avoid the antenatal thread until I was completely sure but have already done 3 tests and am still not convinced. Come on and join in the worry fun.

Patmum - you can try the old lemon and honey remedy. Squeeze half a lemon into a mug, add hot water and honey to taste. Works wonders. And if you're not keen on lemon, orange juice works almost as well.

Give it a go and hope you feel better soon!

HumphreysCorner · 06/02/2009 14:35

Hello all

Having a very icky day today and my head is banging. Yesterday was so much better. When I got up this morning some milk was coming out of my left nipple. What's that all about then?

Have to collect DD1 soon and drag myself off the sofa.

Big wave to all.

lizzie9442 · 06/02/2009 17:11

Hi, Well i had my scan this morning and I haven't actually mc the baby like I thought I had. I have an area of bleeding which is near the baby which they said is where the blood came from. They date me about 5 and half weeks which is less than I thought. The heart was not yet beating as they said it was to soon. I am booked in for another scan on 17th Feb. They said it could go either way. The baby might hang on but then again the bleeding might force the baby out. I am hopeing my body will just absorb the blood now as I am no longer bleeding just a little bit of brownie discharge. Well fingers crossed for me. All i can do is wait and the waiting is horrible. I now feel stuck in limbo

How is everyone else?

RubyBuckleberry · 06/02/2009 17:57

Hi everyone!

lizzie9442 how stressful for you - i hope it is all ok - sending you lots of stickyness! the worst is the waiting ...

Nice to catch up with everyone - reading how you all are

I had a right headache yesterday but ate all day and that really eased the sickness - so much so that i started to panic! Its back today though - it seems to happen when I can't eat constantly and I was unable to eat regularly and then got hungry and then felt sicky icky... I am also completely exhausted. I got home last night and was more than happy to sit and stare at the TV only moving my finger to change channel lol!

I am a south london teacher who is 29

made it to 6 weeks too woohoo!!!!

sammysam · 06/02/2009 18:08

Lizzie-that is good news! I'm keeping my fingers crossed you have a fighter in there and hangs on for 9 months

HC-have no idea really-unless you have recently stopped bf? I'm still bf so that wouldn't be too strange-though it hasn't happened!

Theboob-glad to hear you are feeling so good today-is this quite normal for your pregnancies or a lovely change?

I'm feeling rough on and off which is worrying me as I was feeling rough all the time, plus have had some short sharp pains in my side today....i really need to stop worrying but it is SO hard. Dp is off skiing on sunday and i'm so scared of anything happening whilst he is away and/or feeling so rough I can't function (altough i'd much prefer the latter obviously-not that that would be much fun for dd!)

Hope everyone is ok, thinking of you Lizzie

theboob · 06/02/2009 18:15

lizzie keeping my fingers crossed for you x x x

sammy i felt great with my boys ,but so ill with my DD ,my boobs are HUGE and so so sore

ChucklesMcMummy · 06/02/2009 19:28

Fingers crossed Lizzie I guess it's not 100% good news but better than an MC. Thinking of you and sending sticky power to bean!

doggus · 06/02/2009 19:54

Lizzie - keeping everything crossed for you and your little fighter.

Our house is too small for four so we went to view a couple of houses today. It's really frustrating as there is nothing much for sale and those that are are priced too high for the market. I took ds with me and all went well til he worked out if he pushed the white designer chaise longue hard enough it would smash into the designer glass table filled with designer glass ornaments. I also realised I have been spending too much time with him when I walked into the ensuite and exclaimed 'cor it stinks of POO in here'. The estate agent was not impressed!

*Sammysam and everyone else suffering - I ffeel rough too, really really shattered, not sleepy, just like exhaustion. I've also had the pains in my side for a bit and now they've stopped.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/02/2009 20:33

Hi Doggus! Congratultions
[waves madly]

idreamofbeanie · 07/02/2009 09:45

Morning ladies,

Lizzie - that's great news. It must be so tough having to wait for news but at least you have a scan date to focus on. I have everything crossed your little fighter will hang on!

HC - leaky boobs already? I hadvn't even started thinking about those types of symptoms.

doggus - lol at your crazy house viewing. Hope you find somewhere soon. We'de love to buy somewhere before this little bean arrives but banks are now asking for a massive deposit. 10% we might have just been able to scrape together but not 20-25% even if house prices come down a bit. Guess we will look for somewhere a bit bigger to rent.

Hi to everyone else

Well I spent all yesterday morning in bed - don't know if I had a bug or was over-tired which made ms bad but felt awful. Much better today - still queasy but managable and slept most of the night. Just woke up once feeling sick but sipped a little OJ and went back to sleep. So excited to have made it to 6 weeks but still very nervous. Have to see GP next Wed (7 weeks) and have first appt with midwife on 18th Feb (8 weeks) - hooray. It's a bit earlier than they said but poss working away for a fortnight after that and didn't want to put it off too long.

HumphreysCorner · 07/02/2009 12:23

Morning all

lizzie-that is more positive news. Hope all is OK on your next scan.

Feel slightly better today but still very nauseous and head still banging. Feel dizzy too.

Boobs not leaking this morning. Never leaked at all with the first 2 pregnancies and finished BF 22 months ago. V. strange.

Have a good weekend ladies.

Hi all, glad to see we're all coping.

I have been on a massive sleep-athon!!! Last night I slept for 2 hrs in front of the TV, went to bed during Jonathan Ross, fell asleep about an hour later and slept until 1PM THIS AFTERNOON! Just been for a walk and could happily sleep again.

Sense of smell is getting on my nerves as its making me a bit nauseous and does anyone else have the over-production of saliva symptom? I'm sure I read about it somewhere. That's also making me feel a bit sicky(and making me slobber if I talk too much!)

Getting a bit anxious that nothing is happening (because I can't feel or see anything going on in my tummy yet) I'm worried this is all in my imagination...can't wait for my first scan, can't believe that's another SIX WEEKS AWAY!

RubyBuckleberry · 07/02/2009 17:09

Herethereandeverywhere I am exactly the same! Just call me slobberchops! I also fell asleep last night at six, woke up a eight, had a bowl of fruit and fibre as my bowels are a little slow watched QI and promptly went back to bed! I then woke up at nine feeling sick, had a massive breakfast, went swimming which made me ravenous, had more food and then I've been asleep all afternoon! I feel a bit better now though so might eat some more!

RubyBuckleberry · 07/02/2009 17:12

I also cant bear the smell of cooking meat.

Am also waiting for twelve weeks!

Woke up in the night with horrible tummy ache and couldn't work out whether it was periody painy or bowel crampy! Was a little terrifed but still sick, sleepy and ravenous today so am assuming eek all ok!?

KittyCat09 · 07/02/2009 17:47

Hey all, quite interesting to see who has the same symptoms as me.

My sense of smell is so incredible. I was cutting a lemon at work, it was so beautiful, so amazing and intense.

Had nausea all week, but no actual sickness. The saddest thing is that I used to be able to eat anything in the mornings, but on Thurs I tried to eat a cold sausage and it made me feel so yucky I had to throw it away.

Today it took me half an hour to slowly make my way through a ginger nut biscuit, a slice of toast and a glass of water...

Also had cramps, which haven't gone away despite Chuckles' suggestions. Got appt to see GP on Tues, DH is going to come too

doggus · 07/02/2009 18:15

Hello everyone,

Idreamofbeanie - what a nightmare that the banks are expecting 20-25% deposit. I think we are going to end up renting tbh. No-one down here seems to have taken the housing crash into account and everything is priced at boomtime levels.

My sicky feelings seem to have diminished which I am half happy half nervous about. I do have the truffle pig sense of smell though. Coffee is making me feel ill, even walking past Whittards.

LittleMissBliss · 07/02/2009 19:39

Hi everyone, so, so tired.
My tummy is getting quite round already have to wear jeans to work and they are sooo tight at the moment.

TMI- I keep getting loads of discharge. I had to go and check today at work because i was scared i was bleeding, really freaked me out! Better dig the panty liners out.

Another dvd night tonight. Saturday night telly is ing!

Hope you are all well.

HumphreysCorner · 07/02/2009 20:26

Thought it was just me that stands there and suddenly start dribbling-not had that before. Also, I'm going to need panty liners too at this rate. Can feel it oozing out and panic that it is bleeding. Things smell but it is me imagining how things smell that is making things worse. I think if I actually saw a baby on a scan I could accept why I feel so ill. How can something so small cause so much trouble?

Hope all OK.
