Dont give up hope tree. werent you due 19th? Hey come on.. your only a day overdue and your sounding defeated already!!!! 31st is still well over a week away. Chin up!!!

Going to tell accupuncturist to do his worst! haha. Last week he said he would Vamp it right up if last week didn't work. I'm dreading to think what he is going to do to me! Oh well, lets hope it works!

itching for bubba OUT!

treedelivery · 20/01/2009 22:25

Your right, I'll be cool, could be delivered by morning afterall!

Have never felt futher away from it though! Even caught myself planning a window shopping trip to the nearest city [50 miles].

Clearly my body seems to have lost it's momentum a little

fourlittlefeet · 20/01/2009 22:35

ray, good luck with your session tomorrow. Tree, maybe a bit of divertment is exactly what you need so it can take you by surprise. I'm sure I focussed far too much on it and actually when in labour, dilated the most when I was lying down chilling on pethadine rather than when I was focussing in standing up in active labour!

treedelivery · 20/01/2009 22:40

Oooo so you had pethidine

Now Don't make me make all the rest up!!

I totally agree diversion but what if I get caught in the shopping centre 50 miles away!!?? Can you imagine what a plonker I'd look if I laboured in Monsoon. Or ruptured membranes all over a £200 dress

Am fine during day its the evenings and nights I get so restless and bored. It's bf hormones prepping me for cluster feeds I reckon!

EachPeachPearMum · 20/01/2009 23:07

Good Luck for tomorrow MIssH- good labour vibes your way.
Too tired to take much else in, except for your crappy work situation tree

DS is going mental in there tonight- dunno what is going on. Did lots of walking today, but no cxts....

tomorrow...tomorrow, ah- even DH was getting misty-eyed this evening!

treedelivery · 20/01/2009 23:08

Was just thinking of you EachPeach. x

fourlittlefeet · 20/01/2009 23:27

treedelivery · 20/01/2009 23:58

Fingers crossed!!!

treedelivery · 21/01/2009 00:17

I have just re read the thread and confirmed that we were talking cash flow and swimming this pm!! I don't think I quite processed you were niggling iyswim. The visualising of opening flower buds must have done trick.

BlueSapphire77 · 21/01/2009 00:52

Congrats Ooogs and Tink!!!

Hello baby luke

More babies please the list of people still waiting is tooooo big
Like my DP says.. Pop them sprogs!

missjackson · 21/01/2009 01:15

Oooh Hkz I wonder how you are doing? Hopefully floating around in your birth pool having a glorious time!

I'm up and bouncing on my ball because I got the feeling the baby was trying to move down in my pelvis - have never felt such prolonged and crazy discoing from him! Must have been all the massage today - the therapist was really sweet and did reflexology to bring it on... so you never know!

Felt sooooo relaxed after lovely treatment at the spa - and fell asleep in relaxation room afterwards on a big beanbag -- but now am wide awake again.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi to any late-nighters out there - will check in for news in the morning hkz - good luck!

missjackson · 21/01/2009 01:23

PS Brilliant birth story FLF, all sounds very dramatic but like you were in control the whole time - despite the trippy moments!

hkz · 21/01/2009 04:26

owwie!!!! 3 mins apart....just called midwife.... DP thinks I am a loon to be typing on mn...[ouchie emoticon]

MissHairspray · 21/01/2009 04:45

Oooh ooh ooh, I think I might actually be in labour! Woke up at 1am, went to the loo and had a massively bloody show which freaked me out a bit so called the mlu for some advice. Said to keep an eye on it but sounded like a show rather than anything to worry about. Now getting strong pains about every 6 mins, quite uncomfortable but i've got the tens on which seems to help a bit. I'm 42 weeks today and due to be induced later on but if things progress fast enough they might let me still go to the MLU rather than the main hospital. I need to ring back in a couple of hours to let them know my progress. Talk about leaving it until the last minute!
Probably should be in bed now resting but can't really settle. DH is up but i've made him lie down on the sofa and try and get some kip as there isn't much he can do at the moment

hkz · 21/01/2009 04:59

Good luck MissH! I'm loving the tens machine right now. Really glad you might get the MLU....fingers crossed for you Ow ow ow...

MissHairspray · 21/01/2009 05:21

fymandwhenisthisbabycoming · 21/01/2009 07:22

EachPeachPearMum · 21/01/2009 09:32

Oh- hope all is going well MissH and hkz!

booksgalore- last night I really thought today might be the day, but nothing overnight, or this morning [grrr] I am feeling like I could just leave him in there tbh too.

But it would be nice to be able to roll over in bed, or walk properly!

LenniEd · 21/01/2009 10:41

Congratulations Ooogs and Lamb and Good Luck to MissHairspray and hkz - hopefully we'll already have some more babies

fourlittlefeet · 21/01/2009 11:25

ooohh HKZ and Miss Hairspay - fingers crossed. Had a feeling HKZ would go pretty soon after her visit to Alison.

Tree, thanks so much for your comments, will be asking more questions later. Riding the first week hormones at the mo.

Day yest was baby blues, today its euphoria. . and its in law day too, so bloody glad as am going to need it!

missjackson · 21/01/2009 11:52

Good luck to hkz and MissH - wow, this acupuncturist of yours sounds like the real deal FLF!

Tink glad Bracken is settling in well. Can't wait to join you lot on the post natal thread!

BooksGalore sending you hugs -and EachPeah I know that feeling - seems like every night for over 2 weeks now I have felt strange little twinges and thought, this could be it - but nothing. Last night was up till 3am with the baby rolling around and stabbing pains in my pelvis, and really thought I would go.... but all quiet again this morning! We have to stay relaxed though ladies!

I'm cleaning the house today! Always had such a busy job that I had a cleaner, but no such excuse now, so am going to get down and dirty with it. Quite looking forward to it actually. And then going to make some maple syprup granola recipe thing I found in Grazia - quite the homemaker!

All in a bid to forget I am now 3 days overdue!
