Morning Tink,

Early Xmas dinner sounds really good. I love turkey!!

I did get some sleep I did!!! I slept all night, so hopefully I won't feel so crappy today.

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 06/12/2008 08:40

hooray for sleep
my throat and tooth are better today

kayzisexpecting · 06/12/2008 08:46

Thats good then. My throat feels a little strange this morning so I am probably coming down with a sore throat.

kayzisexpecting · 06/12/2008 09:27

Nat is in hospital again. She has been in all night on drips and IV antibiotics. She has some kind of infection but they don't think the baby has it. She isn't feeling any better despite the antibiotics. so she doesn't know what will happen next.

Keeping everything crossed the antibiotics kick in soon or they find out what is wrong so they can give her something that works.

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 06/12/2008 09:32

Thanks for the update on NJ. She's really having a rough time and - yes - let's hope those ABs kick in v soon.

Morning everyone else!

storkycake · 06/12/2008 09:35

Morning girls!

Osteopathy still working . I'm still not able to do what I want by 3pm regardless but the hours before that are considerably easier.

Hope you slept well Kay.

Poor Nat, I wonder if they might induce her you know, how many weeks is she?

Tink I hope you have a lovely time with parents/food/presents etc.
I would buy the butterfly shade, but that's because we have a flower version in the same colours from Next and it is gorgeous! The slightest draft/breeze and the flowers/butterflies flutter....very pretty.
Not keen on the other shade, looks a bit too 'heavy'. Clock is very errrr pink. Yes that's all I'll say

Righto, busy, busy.....

kayzisexpecting · 06/12/2008 09:44

She is about 35 weeks coming up to 36 weeks, so with the steroids for the lungs I doubt he will have any problems.

storkycake · 06/12/2008 09:46

If she doesn't get any better they might decide to bring him early then, maybe when she reaches 37 weeks.
The amount of stress/strain her body is under can't be healthy for the little mite.

kayzisexpecting · 06/12/2008 09:49

Yeah I doubt it is doing him much good. It would probably be better for Nat and for baby to be under this stress.

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 06/12/2008 11:36

Morning (just!). Oh poor NAT, I've never known anyone have such a rubbish time in late pregnancy . Agree that come 37 weeks I'm sure they'll induce if she's still feeling rotten, though can't imagine labour would be much fun with 'flu.
Have a great early xmas TINKS - sounds a lovely day.
Excellent news about osteo STORKY. As you say, when you've been feeling awful, even a few hours of relief seems like a godsend.
Hope your sore throat doesn't develop into anything worse KAY. Really isn't long for you now - hope he stays in for a few more days though!
Just to book my place in the wagon sick-bay, I have been horrendously sick all of yesterday - probably worst vomiting for a while. Feeling a little better today, but then dd3 was sick in the night so could be unrelated to pregnancy sickness...I am 12 weeks on MOnday and have had 12 weeks as the magic cure all in my mind for months now (only because of past experiences - I know it doesn't happen like that for most). I think I will stop pushing it food wise - dared to introduce grapes and tangerines yesterday - big mistake - and stick to my white food diet - mash, white bread, oven chips, white fish that seem to stay down.
Oh and SORKY I did lose weight in 3rd trimester with dd2 (about 4/5 pounds). Remember being a little concerned (I was also signed off work due to blood pressure problems) but no-one else was. Dd2 was the biggest of the 3 (8.1) so don't think it's related to anything to do with the baby.
Right, time to put the mash in I think!

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 06/12/2008 11:39

i decided to buy butterfly shade, pink clock and a green piggy bank. dd has green walls in her room and pink and green fairy canvases.
i luv pink can you tell it is my favourite colour
clock is going to go on wall above changing table thought it might come in handy and the pink seems to go really well with the green walls.
thought that the baby would luv looking @ the swaying butterflys on the lamp while i am changing her.

kay - the throat thing seems to be getting everywhere.

sorky - do i detect that you dont like pink what colour bedroom is your dd going to have

poor nat cant believe how unlucky she is i agree maybe her baby will be born early.

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 06/12/2008 11:41

why do i always cross posts with someone hi diege waves your new name makes me smile
hope that u feel better soon plumps up some cushions in the sick bay and hands over a wispa

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 06/12/2008 11:43

meant to say vertbaudet order with order code only came to £12. you spend £20 or more get £15 off and free delivery

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 06/12/2008 12:02

Better hadn't risk it, but thanks anyway...
Agree green and pink together are lovely. We've had to work the dds' room around the canal boat theme that dh thought up (we live on banks of one). Before dd1 was born he painted a mural type thing of our surrounding canal (sounds better than it reads!) and added all of us as characters, using photographs for our faces and painting bodies on (you should see the boots he pained me ). So colour-wise their room is reds, blues and yellows, but then neither are 'girly girls'. Have to say that the effect has been lost over last few years with posters of HSM dotted about over the 'scene' .
Still waiting for verbaudet order, though they have taken the money out of my account including an amount for something that is out of stock . Think I'll wait and see what turns up and then read them the riot act! You and verbaudet seem to have a very happy relationship TINKS!

kayzisexpecting · 06/12/2008 13:31

Afternoon,

MIL has just dropped of DS. He climbed out of his cot this morning!!! Well half fell out of his cot, he got his leg over the top and then fell. So I am now expecting a thud in the middle of the night or we'll be jumped on at 3 in the morning.

I feel a bit this afternoon. MIL was getting us a second hand moses basket but wouldn't tell us what colour it was for months. There was one from Boots which I really loved so I bought it. MIL brought said moses basket round today and................. it is exactly the same one as we have bought!!!!

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 06/12/2008 14:51

Oh no Kay, what are the chances of that!! . Do you still have the receipt for yours to take back? Or could you sell her's?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 06/12/2008 15:03

hi everyone, sorry can't catch up properly, am on the patient line thing, taking longer to type this than it takes dh to choose a name!

just letting you know they are keeping me in at least another 24 hours for more ab's, and to try and get my temp under control, baby seems fine so they stopped all talk of inducing today, which is a bloody good job, i've not slept or eaten anything for 3 days, i don't have the energy to blow my nose let alone push a baby out.

t'is ds2's bday tomorrow

oh and can't remember who asked but i'm 36 weeks today - cut off point for the steroids.

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 06/12/2008 15:12

NJ - I just happened to be lurking and saw your post.
Can't imagine how fed up and frustrated you must be feeling and DS2's birthday tomorrow probably just adds to that
Hope they manage to get your temp under control and the ABs do their job.
Take care.

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 06/12/2008 15:13

Kay - what a bizarre conincidence!! Hope you can get a refund or sell one.

Diege - love the name

I'm waiting in for my coffee table that I ordered to be delivered. They phoned about an hour ago to say they'd be about an hour....

SesHasnearlyreachedhalfway · 06/12/2008 16:23

Ooh...tumbleweed city!

Coffee table arrived about an hour ago. I've unpacked it but think I'll leave it for DH to put together.

We're both off to separate Christmas do's tonight. He's already gone off to Heathrow and I'm off to Brighton this evening. Just debating having a shower, painting my nails but don't know what to wear!!

tink - hope your early Christmas is going well!

Hope no one on the sick ward of the wagon is feeling any worse...

kayzisexpecting · 06/12/2008 16:24

Hi Nat, sorry they have to keep you in longer. Sorry you have to be in for DS2's birthday, maybe he'll think its an adventure if he is allowed to open some presents with you in hospital.

I am not going to sell mine as I want to keep for the next one. Also we can't keep the one MIL got us. She is going to give it back to the lady she got it from incase she has another. Don't see why we even need the bloody thing.

RuDiegetheRedNosedReinDiege · 06/12/2008 17:49

Good to hear from you NAT, albeit in not the best of circumstances. Hold on in there - agree, I'm sure ds will think a present opening session in hospital very special
SES, enjoy your evening out in Brighton! Sounds lots of fun and I'm sure you will look stunning .
KAY, bravo on talking about 'the next one' . The only thing getting me through this pregnancy at the moment (apart from the wagon) is knowing it'll be my last
Tree is now up (phew!) and looking good. Harvey is eyeing it suspiciously - will have to make sure lights are unplugged before he has a fly around and a nibble!

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 06/12/2008 18:10

good to hear from you nat poor u hope u feel better soon and all medicene helps take carex

Hi everyone else...am sure Ive missed loads...

kayzisexpecting · 07/12/2008 09:21

Morning,

Please think labour thoughts for me this evening. I really would love to have him tonight.

I'm going to try everything I can to make him come. We're having curry for dinner tonight, going to use my Clary Sage, use ball to try and get him to engage and hopefully have a GOF(if I don't fall asleep first)

I'm going to attempt going for a walk but it is still very icy so will have to see how it goes. I am sick of being stuck in the house.

Nat, I hope DS2 enjoys his birthday and you can go home at some point today. Hope you are feeling better this morning.

DS has put his Makka Pakka cuddly toy in an empty box with a cushion as a pillow and he has covered him with DS2's shawl. It is so cute!!!

Hope you are all feeling fine this morning and having good weekends.
