Oh forgot to say, guess what I finally did last night? Yep, packed the sodding bags, need to get a couple of little things but none that are essentials, just extras, so we're ready to go (though not today please!)

hurray for getting the bag packed!!!

I am not going to talk to him when he gets out of bed. I can't be bothered today. I'm shattered.

As for me, at 9pm last night i decided it was time to move DS's train table out of the living room, then i sorted all their toys back into their tubs, then sorted the rest of the living room.... was still going at it at 10.40pm!!!! i just couldn't stop, even when we said we were going to bed i was still tidying in the dark!!- flipin nesting!!

Well i have something being delivered this morning, then ahve the nursery run, so probs wont be back till after gruff's back... have a nice morning!!

Congrats Glask on a girl! Great news. Did they say they were definite it was a girl? I am not sure whether to buy pink stuff. I want to but keep reading stories of people who were told girl at 20 wks then a boy appeared.

Gruff if you're full of cold make sure you drink extra, extra amounts of water because the illness will dehydrate you and there might not be enough water in your bladder for the baby to be properly visible outside your pelvis. I was loaded with cold when I went for my 20 week scan and that's what the sonographer said to me. I had to go back later that week fully watered up so that she could complete the scan properly.

Signed off for another 2 weeks. Have sent in all bumpf to HR so they know I'm pg hehehe.

Marrowfat peas are evil, don't mind mushy, but I'm picky about where from (MIL does them herself and they're nice), quite partial to gardenpeas/petit pois, however the best peas are the ones we pick from the allotment and eat before we get home, Mmmmmmm!

Happy Anniversary Nat! we just had 8 years too last month.

I am so full of cold its rediculous. Had a shocking nights sleep and thought I was going to suffocate on a few occasions. Really not good

At least I have my scan to cheer me up My mind was racing last night and I dreamt that we were really late and missed the whole thing

oh and I also discovered that about 6am the baby likes to party in my uterous

But is it going to be a boy or girl? Girl or boy? Boy or girl? Arggghhhh! They better tell me or I'll hold the sonographer hostage til he finds something!!!!

Ses - sorry you are having such horrid dreams. I think vivid dreams are often part of pg. Mind you I hadn't had any till last night when I was dreaming that I had had my baby and I kept leaving it everwhere and forgetting I had it . Not sure what they says about my state of mind

Am very jealous of snow, we hardly ever get any down here.

Oh and all vegetables are the food of gods. Peas anyway the come are fine by me, but Sorkys way, picked straight from the plant and eaten raw is by far the best. Virtually all the peas I grew this year got eaten that way .

Just read that

Kay he will pop in and out getting comfy before the birth. This is a good thing, it means he is getting himself in to a good position to be born in and he fits in your pelvis (always good to know)

Cosmo- thanks for congrats... I asked when i jumped up on the bed if she'd be able to peek at the sex for us... she put the scanner on me, and said, 'well she definatley wants you to know!!'.... and all of a sudden a girl feels right... a few days before the scan i had feelings it was a girl, but becasue the sickness is just as bad, if not worse, than it was with DS, thats what was telling me it was a boy...

I've just had my first pink bundle arrive from ebay!! Its lovely- cost me £5.00 and i've now got 4 dresses and 5 top and trouser outfits in 0-3 for her!! (hopefully that answers the buying pink Q!!).... with the other 2 i bought all in pink/blue... thats the best bit about the waiting after the 20wk scan- plenty of time to be buying!!

As my delivery came earlier than expected, and I've already done 2 washer loads this morning, and hoovered, and set up DS's train track on his table i decided to have some PC time!! I'm loving all the space in the living room without the train table in here, but the tree is going in the window tomorrow evening so it'll be taken up again!!

I am going to spend all day sat on my birth ball. He is going to go back down if he likes it or not. I could get comfy on the sofa yesterday without his bum in my ribs and now I can't.

while you're on it kay rock your pelvis back and forth and he might wriggle down and slip back into your pelvis!! helped me with DD when she was giving me a slow on/off labour for 3 days!!

really pleased as saw bits to buy tom when i go food shopping for birthing bag for after birth.

lovely white soft slippers that mould to your feet tried them on really comfy only £5 will wear them from now as lost slippers ages ago!!
slipper sox for £3 with penguins on
and 2 nighties for £5 normally a size 10 going to go for 12-14 to wear after giving birth.

ooooh- one of my friends that i went to school with, her sisters are starting a therapy bussiness up.... I can get my first indian head massage or reflexology for £5, and can get a manicue, pedicure and a special holstic treatment for only £22!!! What a bargain!! I think i might be booking a session!! I fancy getting pampered....

does anyone know of what oils etc that i need to avoid in pregnancy? I asked the therapist (my friends sister) and she said althought they dont do any special massages for pregnancy she is happy to research the oils that can/can't be used.... I'd like to know for myself too...

Oh i'm going all gooey and relaxed just thinking about my pamper session!!!

LOL at balancing on the birthing ball, I have mine, DS1 has one of those science museum big space hopper things, and DS2 has a tiny Cars space hopper thing, and we all sit there wriggling hips and trying not to fall off!
