aww ses thats pants chick!

I just don't think that men think about what they're doing half the time! i can totally understand where your coming from, but at the same time don't stress yourself out!

Nat.. glad everything ok with your scan just want you needed to hear!!x

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 18/11/2008 20:32

Thanks Wilson. I need to try and keep things in perspective but we're now both behaving like a couple of children - sat in different rooms in silence and neither of us has got any tea.
How stupid!
He seems to be sulking because I'm over reacting and I just hate the way it's a done deal so there's nothing I can do.
I guess I ultimately need to be the bigger person and break the ice as there is nothing I can do. What's stopping me though is that he will think he can just behave in this way again. Ok so he's done something he knew I didn't want him to and what's the worst that's happened? As far as he's concerned the worst that's happened is that I've got things out of proportion and made myself get upset!! I want him to realise how important this is and apologise. The only apology I've had is when he first got home before he told me what he'd done!

GruffaloSoldier · 18/11/2008 20:35

Hi all

Phewee what a tiring day! Baby is very active at the mo - feels like a party is going on in there!

Gyo - sorry your boss is such a nightmare - agree voodoo doll is def the way to go

Nj - So glad that you finally got some answers! and you knew all along silly people!

Ses - sorry that you are having a stressed out time with DH - hope he sees the error of his ways soon, or that you can just sort it out. It must be so frustrating for you.

Diege - wow re early movements - so exciting!

Sorky - sorry to hear you have more pains. Hope it gets better soon.

Right Im going to get my blackcurrant jelly

kayzisexpecting · 18/11/2008 20:41

JELLY!!!!!! Bloody hell I forgot to make the jelly again!!!!!!!!

GruffaloSoldier · 18/11/2008 20:54

LOL Kay! - im afraid mine was ready made

kayzisexpecting · 18/11/2008 21:00

Maybe that is what I should do, buy some ready made jelly.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 18/11/2008 21:25

OK. All sorted.
He was sat in the other room with tears in his eyes as when I said I'd had to tell my 2 friends about being pg for support, he felt as if he hadn't supported me enough. He apologized for asking his sister and asked for a cuddle. I told him I hadn't wanted him to get upset but I needed to know that in future if he knew I didn't want him to do something he'd at least talk to me first. Also that I wanted us to work as a unit and make joint decisions especially when it comes to the baby. He seemed to understand and we had a nice cuddle.

Thanks for going through the drama with me

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 18/11/2008 21:29

Oh Ses- so glad its sorted. I was just about to post some sympathy, hit refresh and saw it was sorted. . Hope you are ok.

Hi everyone else.

Xmas- great to see you here- will look at your other thread...

Im in process of drafting a formal HR complaint regarding my boss. His bullying has gone too far now so for the sake of pregnancy Im taking it up to HR. I'd take it if not pregnant but after coming home and having minor meltdown with DH (he was lovely though have decided it cant go on.

kayzisexpecting · 18/11/2008 21:30

I am so glad you are all made up now. He sounds like a big softy.

I am really bored!! DH is at work until 11. I am half watching Most Haunted but its a bit scary and I am a wuss!! DS just took a deep breath and his monitor is next to the tv and I thought it was a ghost.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 18/11/2008 21:35

Thanks GYo.

FWIW I think ur doing the right thing with ur complaint. Put it in writing now with specifics and they'll need to take you seriously and most importantly it should put a stop to his behaviour. Good luck with it.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 18/11/2008 21:38

Lol Kay at scary DS!

DH is a big softy really. He just doesn't always show it!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 18/11/2008 21:44

Thanks Ses

I have already documented some points with my mentor, but now i want HR involved.

kayzisexpecting · 18/11/2008 21:51

Its a good idea GYo. Even if nothing happens straight away they will have it on record.

GruffaloSoldier · 18/11/2008 22:02

Yay ses

Gyo - sounds like a plan to me! Get him!Grrrr!

By the way Gyo - did you sort out NCT antenatal? I have been put on waiting list. Dh still insists that we dont need them but I am working on him. My friend who had baby on Sun said that although it was expensive they really glad they did them. I think I might 'ask' for them for christmas off my family.

Im so tired I cant move

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 19/11/2008 07:53

Morning

Gruff- yes I actually got offered a place for a course starting early Feb. Which reminds me I need to accept by sending money. Was feeling sceptical myself by DH is very keen to do it so I will accept. Not sure where the class is, think its someone's house in farnham. Lady is Lyn someone...

I also did the Nappy Lady questionnaire thing and she came back with loads of recs for me and also a list of demo dates. Might wait and go in Jan so DH can come (!- though he might want to miss that one!). Her name was Wendy Richards I think... Was that the name you had?

Morning everyone else...

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 19/11/2008 08:08

Morning all

Just checking in before I head off to work. All is still fine with DH and in fact if anything feel better for the chat we had.

GYo - I've just sent off my cheque for my NCT classes this morning! £219!!! but will hopefully be worth it.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/11/2008 08:23

morning everyone... only checking in quick as i'm off to do the nursery run in a bit...

I wrote out all my xmas cards yesterday!! How organised am i getting??? i'm scaring myself- its this pregnancy i swear!!

I even wrote list of all the things we still need to get for the baby and considered putting it into a spreadsheet so we can tick it off as we get it all!!! this is not what i'm like normally!!

Oh, after i moaned about DH yesterday, i moaned at him (hormones on a downer yesterday, and today too i think) then he did tons!!!! he chopped up the old sofa and chair and took them to the tip... then he helped tidy the living room, then took me to tesco to buy an xmas tree (he decided we'd get a fake one so it'll last a few years, instead of spending £50 on one real one each year)... then after tea he took me to morrisions to take advantage of the buy 1 get 2 free on pepsi and pringles!!! i now have 8 bottles of pepsi in the house, and no-where to stash them oh well i'll just have to drink them!!!

Will try and pop on later, although DH has given me my cold back (the one i passed to him 2 weeks ago now) so i'm suffering... didn't sleep well AGAIN [angry but tired face in here] and i'm feeling sick even after my meds and breakfast... but think thats just the cold weakening me even more than i normally am!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 19/11/2008 08:24

Morning Ses
Glad all still ok/better with DH

Mine is also £219, including the membership- do you know what you get for that? Other than early entry to nearly new sales?

Yawn - is it not friday yet?

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 19/11/2008 08:26

Morning glask- x-posts.
Great on the bogoff pepsi... makes me really want some even at 8am!

Hope your cold is better soon...

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 08:27

Morning,

Poor Glask, you do sound under the weather. Its so nice of DH's and DC's to give us their illnesses.

I have written nearly all my xmas cards and DH is moaning its too soon but if they are done then they are out of the way.

I had a horrible dream last night. I dreamt DH was in the army and he was in Iraq and taken hostage and we didn't know what had happened to him. I woke up in a real panic and had to wake him up.

Hope everyone is ok.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 19/11/2008 08:28

Morning Kay- what a horrible nightmare... do you find dreams more 'real' when pregnant?

Glad he wasnt in Iraq after all

tinkisallreadytositonthetree · 19/11/2008 08:34

morning
off 2 nursery

kayzisexpecting · 19/11/2008 08:42

I do find them alot more real when I'm pregnant. Most of the time they are just normal dreams but every now and again I'll have a nightmare.
A few weeks ago I dreamt that my BIL was mucking around with DS and he dropped him. So I had to wake up DS just to check he was ok.

Diege · 19/11/2008 08:56

Morning
GYO sounds like you are doing the sensible thing in putting a complaint forward, esp with the effects his behaviour is having.
KAY, your dreams sound awful, poor you. All that extra blood flowing round I've read that makes things seem so vivid.
GLASK xmas cards I asm strangely but also serves as a reminder for me to actually start my xmas lists for dds .
Morning TINKS - any plans for today?
Going to try breakfast 2 now - no.1 stayed but for a brief time. Really looking forward to being able to eat properly again!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 19/11/2008 09:07

Morning Diege
Good luck with the breakfast. I think you are fab- always perky but always puking.. like to think I'd be the same but not so sure!
