Love the countdown Glask!

Not sure re the post GOF "show" or not.
Could just be extra moisture due to being pregnant?

I've get loads now... especially first thing in the momrning. Was getting worried I had slow leak of waters but doesnt fit that description....

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 25/11/2008 14:11

Does anyone else get palpatations?

Keep gettig them and I dont know if its stress or pregnancy related.

Worried its affecting the baby....

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 25/11/2008 14:17

ooh- i was getting them GYo- when i'd been doing loads then sat down and relaxed, i'd get them while doing nothing... never got them pre-pregnancy... i gather its just becasue of the extra work my body is doing, and it's just trying to tell me to slow down a bit!!

as for the discharge, i'm having lots of discharge, but this was seriously thinck, like 3 or 4 times thicker and gloopier than what my EWCM was... and as thick as my show's were with the other 2... however it was just a yellowish, creamy colour, no funny smell, no blood streaks at all... so i know it wasn't a 'show' have had none since... as i hadn't GOF'd since about 12hrs before i got the discharge i know it can't be leftover 'DH deposits' and definatley not when it was so much!!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 25/11/2008 14:21

Thanks Glask- might mention to MW but hope its normal. Does make me feel awful though, kind of panicky...

Weird re discharge. Does seem odd if so thick... Did you do a search online?

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 25/11/2008 14:26

no didn't search, never really do either ask on here or ask someone in the know- told DH and he said 'well it better not be a show- its WAY too early' just becasue i'd described it as being 'as thick and gloopy as my show's'... silly DH!!! I wasn't saying i was in labour at all- but the way he said it you'd think i had!! I've had no abnormal pains or anything else that would be 'out of the ordinary' at this stage...

maybe i was just having a bad overdose of discharge last night!! or as kay said the other day, maybe i was OVing!!haha!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 25/11/2008 14:28

right i'm off to watch my 'Hollyoaks Later' that i recorded last night and hope to get a sneaky nap before its the teatime routine.... i managed to get DC's a bath this morning before DH went to work so thats one job off the list for this evening anyway!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 25/11/2008 14:28

not searching online is very sensible!

LOL re DH thinking you were in saying you were in labour....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 25/11/2008 14:42

Have had a sleep, MIL rang at 2 (waking me up ) to say that she'd just dropped DH's niece off at the hospital, she'd gone into labour, I got up out of bed, had a wee and a quick wash, got DS2 up, bought him down and changed his bum, phone rang again, MIL, DH's niece has had the baby! LOL No more news yet, she is just heading back up the hospital.... am so awwwwwwwwww and ! She was due on the same day DS2 was due (29th Nov.) how did he make it all the way to the 7th December, and yet she get's to go a week early?!! It's not fair this giving birth malarky y'know! At least I'll get to snuggle a newborn at the weekend, even if it's not my own!

Glask, that discharge could still be DH's leftovers, sometimes I get it coming out still the next day

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 15:20

Congratulations to DH's neice Nat!

I have started to feel awful. I am so tired and I am feeling really sick. DH has just got home from work and he said he will take DS out to the shops so I can get some rest.

DS looked into the moses basket this morning and said "baby" It was lovely and he has put his cuddly tiger in there and he always wants to rock it.

sorkycake · 25/11/2008 17:15

Glaskham - 18 weeks, 22 left to go
Ses - 16 weeks, 24 left to go
Diege - 10 weeks, 30 left

For a little while over january we could average a baby a week

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 17:19

Yeah January looks exciting!!

I have just found a Silver Cross pram on Freecycle. I am so tempted but I have the P&T's.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 25/11/2008 17:22

V true Sorky!! We really will need a nursery in the corner of the wagon! On second thoughts, the whole wagon will probably be taken over

MW went really well. All my bloods from booking in were fine (except thyroid which I knew about), urine fine, BP fine! She went to listen to baby's hb and I didn't tell her I had a doppler. She said that it's not always easy to hear it at 16 weeks so not to panic but she found it immediately she put it on my tummy!! V reassuring and also in terms of someone who knows what they're talking about ('cos obviously I don't??!!) hearing it too and saying everything ok.

NJ - sounds like your DH's niece had a v quick labour or was it just the timing of the phonecalls?! Congrats to her anyway

Glaskham - Not long til your scan!!! Not sure about your discharge but I'd say if it wasn't green or smelly it's probably nothing to worry about. Could well be leftovers from GOFing (what's that???! )

Heebee - thinking of you (hugs)

Diege · 25/11/2008 17:32

Great news on midwife SES! Sounds like all is going very well. Not long until 20 week scan!!
HEEBS - hope things went as well as could be expected this afternoon xx
KAY, get the pram you fool!!!! Even if you just get a few trips out you can pass on to freecycle!
Am off for evening now as having horrible mucously retches and waiting for dh and dds to bang on door at any minute! Night all; speak tomorrow

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 25/11/2008 17:36

Night Diege - hope your evening improves and you get a good night's sleep

BBeingpatient · 25/11/2008 17:48

hi all sorry for absence

Glad to hear all is going well for all you preggos, there will be babies soon!!

To update you all on myself:

Docs today, all hormones fine, so going back for CD21 blood test, (handily enough came on sunday so not long to wait) to check if i am ovulating. If i am then DP will be tested, if i am not then i expect it will go to the clomid route, however the fact that i am having periods(however far apart) and that ive been pg before, are positives.

So im feeling hopeful.

Hope everyone is well xx

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 25/11/2008 18:09

Hey BB- hope you soon have answers and can get on top of ttc (literally??) very soon!!!

SES- haha re-GOFing- whats that comment!!! it'll soon come lady.... i swear i went to bed one night repulsed at the thought of DH touching me, had a very horny dream and had to wake DH up at 5am so he could pay me some attention!!!! He's been ill and full of a cough and cold for the last 2.5wks now... so we haven't had much 'GOFing time' as i'm scared he'll cough and splutter all over me mid-way throguh!! however i've been waking him up an hour or so after he's dropped off which helps ease his coughing a bit!! he's not best pleased, but i have needs!!!!

Heebeejeebee · 25/11/2008 18:34

Hi there

Well, as suspected, there was growth, but no heartbeat. My gynae is going to call me tomorrow re a date to sort everything out, and is also going to run some hormone tests at her private clinic at some point to check if there is an underlying problem, or bad luck.

Thank you all for all your good vibes.

BB - that all sounds very positive - clomid def worked for me, and hope things work for you very soon!

Ses - glad the midwife went well.

BBeingpatient · 25/11/2008 18:38

oh heebee, i dont know you well but im so so sorry for you, i hope there is no problem x

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 25/11/2008 18:46

Heebee - sorry to hear it was as suspected but I guess at least they're going to run those tests. Take care of yourself and do keep posting / lurking.

BB - sounds like things are progressing for you. It does sound hopeful!

Glaskham - I'll have to trust you on that one at the moment! Definitely not feeling quite as exhausted as I was a couple of weeks ago so hopefully that's a start. Whether it's the 2nd trimester or my increased dose of thyroxine (or both?!) I don't know but I just hope it continues!

Just adding my next scan and MW appointment on. Have to see GP and consultant in between now and then as well!

Doorbell just rang and it was my Next delivery!! He said they usually deliver in the evening! All fine, just wasn't expecting it. I've ordered a faux leather blanket box and stool and it was the stool. Just have to tidy up pile of clothes in the bedroom now to make space for it (and use for it as I can hide put pile of clothes inside!!)

GruffaloSoldier · 25/11/2008 20:46

Oh my! 3 pages later....!!

Maybe I'll just say a big wagon hello to everyone!

Im so tired! Have had loads of energy at last over last few days but feeling wiped out again tonight.

HBJB - so sorry for your news. Hope you're ok.

Loving all the countdowns. I cant believe its less than a week til my scan for some reason I am having scan when Im 20+5. Wish it was sooner, I am so impatient.

Kay - what can I be in your christmassy dreamworld?? Angel? Christmas tree?

O my I need sleep!
