I have been sorting some of the nursery out, not quite sure where I have got this burst of energy from, especially when my head and neck are still pounding and I still have a temp. but after the last few days it feels so good to be doing something! Curtains are up, cot's made up (though why I don't know, the baby won't even be in it till he's at least 6 months!) I've got some of the little bits out, the lamp is made up (yes I said made up, t'was like a bloody jigsaw puzzle putting the damn thing together!) and the cot mobile and cot tidy thingy are up, all the clothes are in the wardrobe and drawers, spare bedding sets in the drawers. It is a bit frustrating that there are still boxes of stuff in there (the things that are to go on the bookcase, swing, bouncer, bath/changing unit thingy, swinging crib and all the bedding for it, playpen, am sure there is something else as well....) so the room is still packed out with stuff that won't be there in the long term, but it is coming together, and even if I do say so myself, I couldn't have picked a nicer paint colour to go with it all, it matches perfectly!
Am going to put DS2 to bed, have a brew and see if I can get a bit of a sleep.
