Morning

I am so sorry about yesterday, talk about feeling sorry for myself?! DH came home and I just burst into tears wailing I can't take any more, I've had enough, blah blah blah, you can imagine! Poor bloke didn't know what to do with me! Anyway, had hospital appt. the trace was fine, think that'll be the last one, got the scan on Thursday as long as waters are back up then that's it I think, back to normal MW appt. at the GP's. The urine sample he sent off on Saturday isn't back yet but she said when they are she'll let me know to make sure I am on the right AB's, and she thinks I have a viral thing on top of the infection. Not feeling any better (physically) today TBH, but have gotten over the pathetic stage, I do know the baby is better off in there than out for now, though give me a couple of weeks and I might be ready to climb inside myself and grab him out if needs be! Just keeping fingers crossed that if nothing else the water level is back up on Thursday then at least all of the hospital visits will hopefully be over with.

Kay I feel a bit like a christmas pudding, hot and muggy sweaty, and fat and round, and stodgy and a bit fruity just don't tell DH because he is likely to jump me and I haven't got the energy! LOL

Heebs, if you're lurking, good luck, I am thinking of you.

Morning all,

Congrats on 24 weeks GYo - that must feel good. I am 22 today so nearly there. I threw up during dinner again last night and have resigned myself that this is going to last for the whole pregnancy. Will it stop once the baby comes out - or am I now bulimic??

Kayz - cool dream! I am happy with being a reindeer but not so sure how Nat will feel about being a Christmas pudding!

Morning
Bless you KOOKY, you are very strong and I am absolutely sure that you will get a bfp again very soon xx
NAT, don't need to apologise at all - we are just glad that you are ok and being looked after! You Xmas pudding you
KAY, I am very pleased with being an elf . Had to snigger at 2BG being a snowglobe .
WILSOn, remind me, when is your due date again? I am sure I will pop before you, or very close to as always a week early. Will be very exciting come June!
10 weeks feels like 10 years to me!!! Have to say I am slowly feeling better (sorry COSMO, your sickness sounds really rough )as I did at this stage with dd3. I am still being sick a few times a day, but the nausea is gradually reducing so I am quite surprised to actually be sick if that makes sense? I think I get sickness as early as you can (4.5 weeks) and it finishes as early as it can! (I am really tempting fate now).
Have been having awful dreams about miscarrying. Think it's a combination of my mmc being at 10 weeks, and also worrying about 12 week scan. I will be so relieved when the scan is over, I really don't enjoy them!
Well very pleased that I have actually received some of the extra money for the extra day's work I've been doing writing that module. I have been very good and paid off my Next directory account in full this morning, so debt free at last!!! I am also treating myself to some new ugg boots, but not going to go mad. Still, will make xmas a lot easier!

Diege · 25/11/2008 09:01

Oh and SES good luck for midwife appointment today

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 25/11/2008 09:09

Diege - dreams ca be cruel as well as amusing. I hope your dreams aren't too vivid. Do you remember me sayinhg early on I had a dream I was miscarrying, woke up, went to check, realised it wasn't real so went back to sleep. I then dreamt that I had dreamt I was miscarrying and that it was coming true! Took me a while to get my head round it all when I woke up.
Glad the sickness is improving and all sounds good and healthy IYKWIM.
V impressed with you paying off your Next account, and ugg boots!! Great to feel debt free

Right - I really am heading off to work now!

Heebeejeebee · 25/11/2008 09:10

Hi all

Sorry I haven't been posting much (have frequently been lurking though).

NJ - thank you so much for your thoughts/vibes - especially when you've got so much on your plate!

My scan is at 3.30pm and I think I'm as prepared as I can be for the worst. The only faint glimmer is that nothing has changed - I am still retching in the mornings (apologies for tmi) and all my other symptoms are still in place, so if any of you have time to pray for a miracle, then please do. In the event the worst happens, I was idly googling yesterday afternoon and discovered that the guy who runs the miscarriage clinic on Harley St, has his NHS clinic at Epsom hospital! It gave me a lift because if they do agree to any tests etc, at least I know there is an expert around if any anonomolies (sp?) arise.

I'll let you know what happens this afternoon

Diege · 25/11/2008 09:13

HEEBS, all the best for this afternoon. Will be thinking of you xxx

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 25/11/2008 09:13

Heebee - I'll be thinking of you (as I'm sure we all are) and hope and pray for a miracle. (((((((hugs)))))))

Morning Diege
Glad your sickness is improving slightly. Can really understand this being a worrying time? Do you have a scan date now?

New Ugg boots-  Definitely needed at the moment? freezing?

Cosmo- sorry your sickness keeps on going?. really is bad? maybe it will at least fade as you go on? Makes me wonder if there is truth in the old wives tail regarding girls causing sickness (I know, I know?.just love the speculation!)

Got to face boss this morning for first time face to face after my formal discussion about his behaviour. Little does he know Im also taking my issues to head of HR on Friday afternoon!

Heebs, Good luck today. I have everything crossed for you.

I am so fed up of the weather. Its sunny, then it goes really dark and I need the light on and then its sunny again!!!

I am also sick of using the loo, I'm sure the walking up and down the stairs is what will make labour happen.

Just got an e-mail to say my Clary Sage has been posted so hopefully it will come soon. Hopefully it will work.

Playingthe9monthwait · 25/11/2008 09:47

Morning all,

Nat - sorry you're having such a rough time, you really have had a hard pg haven't you!

Deige - glad things are easing for you

Cosmo - sorry to hear you are still suffering, I don't know how you are managing to cope. I found it hard enough being constantly sick till 16 wks and it not really calming down properly till 18 wks.

Heebee - good luck with your scan, I will be thinking of you.

GYo - hope it goes ok with your boss, it must make things so much harder.

Kay - your dream made me smile.

I'm back to normal sickness wise!!! Sick first thing, maybe once or twice during the rest of the day.... but hasn't been any food lost over the last 2 days so far... its just foamy bile sort of sick... COSMO- looks like we're in it for the long-haul with sickness... but i swear as soon as baby arrives you forget all about it!!!

GYo- i think the opposite with my body so far... I was sick like this with DS, wasn't sick once with DD... we'll see on friday if my theory is right for me!!!

Diege- the acidy burning comes and goes throguh the day, will come about 2-3hrs after eating, then i'll be sick just in time for my next meal... then be fine again... haven't tried antacids... what sort are there? never had them before...

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 25/11/2008 11:00

right also- we have some 12wk and 20wks scans in the next couple of weeks dont we.... lets get the list!!!

glaskham- 20wk scan- 28th Nov

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 11:03

OOooh thats Friday Glask!! Are you finding out the sex?

You'll never guess what has just arrived?

My Mothercrap order!!!!!! The Xmas baby outfits are gorgeous!!!!!!

Diege · 25/11/2008 11:31

glaskham- 20wk scan- 28th Nov
diege - 12wk scan - 9th Dec

Yah for the MC order Kay, at last! Sounds like it was worth the wait
G:LASK, sorry for being obscure, by antacids I just meant general ones like Gaviscon, tums etc. I'm sure you've tried them to death! Good that sickness seems to be abating - that's brilliant news! I do hope we aren't jinxing ourselves with our celebrations!!

Have just ordered my uggs (£40 cheaper than in shop in village ) so shall see. Should arrive tomorrow . Went for classic short in black as not totally convinced with knitted type ones, and ummed a bit over metallic pewter. I am so boring!
