sorkycake · 24/11/2008 14:55

Alas the wheels on the wagon are falling off

we all sound buggered.

Nat are they checking you out at 4pm for the kidney thing? You really don't sound like you're doing very well. Moan away, if you can't do it here where can you? There isn't one of us would be any different if the shoe was on the other foot

KK I hope it's nothing too much to worry about

Glas did I read your post right you're having wild miced venison? what the hell is that? Have the venison eaten the mice? Are the mice just chopped and included?

Good luck for appt's & shopping everyone, hope you all get what you want.

Kayz my show at 37 weeks resnotted itself! I was so disappointed. It was the size of a fifty pence piece and the m/w just said it was a little bit of the show and 'not to worry'
Worry?!? I was livid. Made me wonder how much was actually up there tbh.

I only noticed an actual full show with ds2 and there was tons and tons of it. I was in labour by that point though, sorry not much help there actually.

I have pulled my finger out and cleaned our bedroom which was piled high of various bits of crap, clothes, toys etc. It's pristeen for the first time in weeks but I'm paying the price for it. Wondering if codeine is worth it.

LG&T I totally see your point about the tree Tell that baby there's a queue of jobs and he'll have to just be british about it and wait his turn.

2beautifulgalsandabean · 24/11/2008 15:12

Kayz- i suck on extra strong mints when feeling sicky, mainly on the way to school and back and it does help. Mainly cause i have this awful, acidy/hairspray taste in my mouth.
Munching my way through a tub of twiglets yum. ~DH says they taste of tree

Sorky you just made me lol about the miced vension? have they eaten the mice? lol

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 15:46

If I kill my DH for being an annoying PITA will they let me of on grounds of being hormonal???

He has just got home from and all he has done is moan at me. I just want to throw him straight back out of the door. He wants to watch the budget crap, moaned that DS had done a poo despite the fact he did literally as DH walked through the door and I'm not superwoman and can't change him in under 1 second.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 24/11/2008 16:02

Hello Everyone

Sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly Nat. Hope you were ok at hosp appt. Glad the funiture arrived.

Sorry to hear you are both feeling poorly Kay & Glask

Hi Sorky, 2BGAAB and Diege and everyone else

Just back from shopping. Got some xmas bits and had a good hour in baby dept in John Lewis looking at buggies/cots/clothes etc. Got a full demo of the Bee and maxicosi car seat. So exciting. Think I want that one now (red or khaki) as I need a small one to fit in my car but need to let DH see what he thinks too... Wouldnt want to appear that Im making all the decisions

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 24/11/2008 16:36

Nat- sorry to hear you're feeling so bad.... can't you buy codine from the pharmacy??? or at least send DH??

Was sick earlier, but didn't loose any of my breakfast!! and haven't been sick since.... i still have the acidy feeling in my chest- and no its not heartburn Kay- i know what thats like!! normally get it from about 25wks onwards and live on rennie chews!!its like an acidy, sick taste/feeling all down my throat and covering my chest... does that make sence??

got a full fridge now too, shopping came. Kids have asked for sausages and parsnip mash

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 24/11/2008 16:39

haha- i took too long and X-posted with loads of others there!!

Sorky, can't be bothered to look back to see if my spelling was wrong, it should have said 'minced wild venison'...

tinkisallreadytositonthetree · 24/11/2008 17:03

Diege · 24/11/2008 17:13

Ptu,spu (spit out noises) KAY re: extra strong mints . Not for me I'm afraid - make me feel sick just thinking about them
NAT - hope appointment went ok - you're beraring up a lot better than I could.
GYO - yah, another bee!! Snap, khaki or red here, though am an intriqued by yellow..
GLASK, that acid thing sounds the pits - do antacids help or is it toally different?
Hi to everyone else - off for the night I think now as familiar evening nausea is arriving (1 moan card). Speak tomorrow x

sorkycake · 24/11/2008 17:34

Ohhhh! minced

Thought A&C were going all snail porridge on us there

I'll be really honest and admit it was waaaaaaay after my post I realised that could've been a typo .

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 17:38

I have found the perfect changing bag!!! But I now need to find it in this country. Its an OiOi one and they are Australian. I haven't seen it anywhere yet. I am looking as we type speak.

Nat is ok but I'll let her tell you herself.

tinkisallreadytositonthetree · 24/11/2008 18:12

kay ye for bras it is great getting a bargain

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 18:41

I have found the bag!!!!!!! Also for cheaper than I thought. But will have to get money from pram until I can buy it.

Trying to find a fruit and veg box scheme for round here as I am so of Glask's Abel and cole one!!!!

kookykid · 24/11/2008 19:55

Thanks for your lovely messages of support. Makes me feel not alone!

Saw docs this morning and because it's so early (not even 6 weeks) there won't be a scan, which is actually what I wanted as don't think I could cope. Will need to do a pg test in a week to confirm all over and then will go from there. Good thing is that at least I'm now on their radar so can hopefully do tests etc as needed if we don't have any luck in the next few months.

I will be lurking to keep up to date with all your news and universe willing will be back to honk soon!

KK x

LaTourEiffel · 24/11/2008 22:14

Hey KK, missed your first posts, so sorry to hear your news, just know I'm thinking of you, I know how much you want this.

Hi to everyone, feel like I've been away for ages - can someone bring me up to speed on NJ? Is she OK?

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 07:05

Morning!!

LaTour, Hope you are ok. Nat has an infection and not feeling to perky. Bless her she seems to have everything this pregnancy. I feel bad for moaning about being tired and fed up when you think of what Nat has been through.

I had a really wierd dream last night. We all had an xmas meet up and we were all in fancy dress.
Nat was a Christmas Pudding,
Diege was an elf,
Glask, Gyo and Cosmo were reindeer,
LG&T was Mrs Christmas,
LaTour and Tink were fairies,
2BG was a snowglobe
Sorky was a turkey and
I was a snowman!!!!

It was very wierd. I blame the pregnancy.

I slept all night last night but stil feel pretty bad this morning. It is bloody freezing here and it has been chucking it down.

Hope everyone is ok this morning.

wilsonmummy · 25/11/2008 07:11

Morning!

I actually feel bright eyed and bushy tailed at the minute, bet the feeling doesn't last long!!

Kay.. that is one wierd dream chick!!

Nibbling on ginger nuts and a nice cup of tea this morning!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 25/11/2008 08:08

Morning Kay! Morning Wilson!

That is a strange dream Kay. Maybe it was the night for it though as I dreamt my parents got arrested for not paying taxes!!? I was there when the police came and got really upset!

Kooky- really sorry to hear your news. Do keep lurking and posting. I'm thinking of you and sending a secret wagon hug.

NJ - hope that infection buggers off quickly and you feel better soon.

Diege - 10 weeks girl! Not long til your scan

I've got MW appointment this afternoon. Hoping she listens to hb as will be reassuring for someone else to concur with what we've found on Doppler. Not that I really doubt it as nothing in my body feels like it's got the energy to go that fast!

Morning everyone else

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 08:20

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently UPS have sent my Mothercrap order out today!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo happy about it.

I can't believe Diege is 10 weeks already. Only seems 2 minutes ago she got her BFP!!!

I think someone might have used steel toe boots and kicked me up the bum. It really really bloody hurts, I feel like I have fallen over but I know I haven't.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 25/11/2008 08:24

kayzisexpecting · 25/11/2008 08:44

Yes of course you can Ses.

It was quite funny as we were in London walking down Oxford street shopping and no one really looked at us. If we were to do that in real life we'd get loads of wierd looks.
