NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 11:35

TBH everytime I've lost a bit it is a lot thicker than EWCM, maybe it's just the normal late pregnancy discharge? Just watch out for it getting smelly, or turning a bright green colour (a bit green-ish is fine BTW, just very bright green you have to watch out for)

And even if it is a bit of your show, it doesn't mean it's going to happen today, so hopefully you'll have had some sleep before anything starts!

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 11:38

GREEN??? Ok I will keep my fingers crossed for anything green.

I was a bit worried it was my waters breaking. It was on my way home from town I noticed I felt a bit wet.

Diege · 24/11/2008 11:50

Kay, my bits of show were also a lot thicker (sort of 'vasiliny') than EWM - could well just be late pregnancy gunk.
NAT, am scared of dress, looks tough to sort of what goes where. I must put something on though as freezing in PJs and dressing gown! Didn't you have a slot booked for furniture? Just dare them to be late!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 12:00

No Kay, I meant if it turns bright green ring your MW, can be sign of infection, but sometimes the show can be a bit green-ish, that's fine.

LOL at scared of dress, I have a couple of wrap tops that are like breaking into the Bank of England to get on.

Furniture is here! They are putting the cot together right this second, then the rest will follow in, hope they hurry up, I am freeeeeeeeeeezing! Have retreated to living room with 2 tops, cardi, and my coat on they must think I'm a right bloody weirdo!

2beautifulgalsandabean · 24/11/2008 12:04

morning just about!

NJ- sorry you are feeling rather pants, you certainly are having a rough ride. Hope they sort you out tonight.

Kay- maybe a bit of the mucus plug, but maybe just discharge? sorry not very helpful. Sorry you didn't get much sleep and i hope that everything is ok with dh's job.

Morning diege- Dress sounds interesting but very jealous that you are still in pjs. i'm freezing.

KK- sorry for bleeding.

Glask- deliveries sound great, Glad you had a good day with you mum yesterday. sorry about sickness.

i'm good, got cons appt tomorrow suppose to be researching things to say to him, but keep getting distracted!

Diege · 24/11/2008 12:08

Yay for furniture NAT! Impressed tnat they are putting up cot - is that part of the deal? If so, wow! .
I have tried the dress on at last and it is great! Bit odd without bump (well, just wodge of tummy fat) but will be great over leggings with ankle boots. A lot shorter on too - mid thigh and I'm 5' 2.5"! Have also ordered a skirt from there, and have other purchases planned too..
Have out fish fingers and chips into over, and wondering it I should risk a new food - baked beans??? Only been sick once today so far..

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 12:13

Morning 2BG Good luck with the MNing research

Diege, yep all part of it, the rest of the furniture is already made up, so they only have to deliver them but the cot needs putting together, DH is ever so pleased it isn't his job this time, I can still remember how blue the air was when he did DS2's LOL They have to put it all in it's place, take away all packaging, they've even got those plastic shoe cover things on their feet to save the carpets despite me telling them not to bother! Well worth the money I say!

Glad the dress is good Deffo try the beans, you won't know unless you try (take the dress off first though, just in case!)

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 12:16

I meant to write I'll keep an eye out for anything green. I think the lack of sleep has made my brain stop working.

2beautifulgalsandabean · 24/11/2008 12:22

that is very good service NJ. very jealous.

Diege- glad you figured out the dress and it looks good. Go for the beans.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 12:28

Jealous of the plastic shoe covers? They are very fetching!

2beautifulgalsandabean · 24/11/2008 12:37

Only if they are the blue ones
More of the being organised and having everything put up and placed where you want it.
What time is your appt at hospital?

wilsonmummy · 24/11/2008 12:43

Hey all!!

Sickness has finally caught up with me, i feel dreadful still not been sick but constantly gagging and not interested in eating anything at the moment, went to doc's this morning and he signed me off for 2 weeks, i'm dehydrated and he sent off a urine sample to check for keotones!! what are they/ does it do?

Tried to write on here yesterday and computer rebooted itself so i gave up so hi to everyone and hope all sicky people are begginning to feel better, all shopping sprees are going well, swellings are not getting worse etc...

Has anyone heard from Heebs yet?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 12:58

They were the blue ones, they really ruined the whole ambiance of the room I have been striving for... Bu tnever mind they've gone now, am about to go and polish and start putting bits away, though how far I'll get with that is anyone's guess.

Appt. is at 4.

Wilson, sorry you're feeling sick as well, I'm not sure exactly what the ketones are, but I know they are an indictor of sorts of what your kidneys are up to, I had them when I was induced with DS2, had to wait for them to go before they let me home after the birth.

No word from Heebs, it's tomorrow her scan isn't it?

Right, polish here we come...

lastboxoftampons · 24/11/2008 13:17

Oh, Kooky I'm so sorry to hear about your bleeding. Fingers crossed that it's not what you think it is, but I agree with the others, it's probably a good idea to see your doctor. I hope you're holding up okay. Please take care of yourself

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 13:25

I think I have come out in a sympthathy migraine for Glask. My head is killing me. I feel exhausted but can't get any sleep. DS is awake and I am being very naughty and letting him watch cartoons.

I need to order some voiles for our front room window. I am sick of people looking in as they walk past. Especially when I am trying to nap on the sofa.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 13:58

(Another moan, ignore if you've had enough)

I am poorly I don't know if it is all down to the infection, or if I have a different infection, or a bug or something but I can not remember the last time I felt so ill, or even if I have ever felt so bad. I don't know what to do with myself, all I want to do is crawl into bed but I need to get DS1 from school in an hour, DH is coming home for the hospital appt. but he can't get back any earlier than planned (3 - 3.30) due to how far away he is. I honestly don't think I can make the school run, it's only over the road FGS. I feel so pathetic especially with what some of you are going through at the moment.

2beautifulgalsandabean · 24/11/2008 14:08

Nat- sorry that you are feeling so crap, can you not get into bed for an hour and rest then, get DS1? Might just be the antibiotics working, sometimes they take it out of you. What time does DS1 finish?

Hi LBOT how are you?

Wilson- sorry for sickness, know that feeling well. How many weeks are you now?

Kayz- sorry for headsche, cartoons won't hurt, some of them of quite educational (well thats what i tell myself)

Diege- so how were the beans?

Tink it is freezing, i i wrapped in blanket with heating on full blast! DH has just arrives home very early which is nice as now i can send him in hte car to collect DD1 instead of me walking for 30 mins there and 30mins back.

Right think i have finished my research for consultant. I really want a physiological third stage this time and i am going to fight for it. Just read through my birth notes for DD1&2 (got a copy a few back) and now know what i want and what i don't!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 24/11/2008 14:13

No, if I get into bed I won't get back out of it, besides, all the stuff from the babies room is piled everywhere in our room, including on the bed, I'd never even get round the boxes to get in it if the bed was clear.

God I wish I'd have taken the pain killers he offered on Saturday night, even codiene side effects are better than this.

Diege · 24/11/2008 14:13

Nat, is there anyway a friend could pick ds up for you? May be worth a phone call, esp as it wouldn;t be too much out of their way if you're close to school?
2BG, that's interesting about getting your notes - how did you go about it if you don't mind me asking?
Didn't risk beans in the end...just seemed too, well 'adventurous' after my diet of crumpets, toast and oven chips...may try a can of sprite now. I mean, what's the worst that can happen?

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 14:17

Nat, is there another mum that can just pop DS1 over the road for you?

Sorry you have it so bad. I just can't believe everything you've had to go through. Hopefully it'll clear up soon.

I'm doing some retail therepy(sp) for my head. I'm looking for changing bags on ebay. But no luck as I just can't choose one.

2beautifulgalsandabean · 24/11/2008 14:22

Diege- i wrote to the data controller of the medical records department of the hospital at which i gave birth. Asking for a copy of all my medical records that they held including maternity. They then sent me a consent form to sign, then they had to locate records and count how many and how much it would cost. I had a lot of records, it took 4 A4 very thick envelopes for them all. The maximum they can charge is £50.00 total which mine was. Think it was something like £10.00 administration charge then 40p a sheet? Sent a cheque then they have 40days from recieving that to sending you your request. Quite lengthy process but mine was well worth it. Thought it would be beneficial for when we move stateside to have some medical notes.
Could save time by phoning hospital and asking for consent form.

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 14:23

It has just started to throw it down here, but it is really sunny still. It looks quite wierd actually and DS is really confused.

Diege · 24/11/2008 14:30

That's interesting 2BG. I may well investigate, as never saw records of births, and after all we go through would have been nice to 'debrief' and actually see what had been recorded.
Hope you're OK NAT - wish I lived closer and I would be round in a flash.

kayzisexpecting · 24/11/2008 14:37

Diege, I have something to tell you, just remembered. 4 friends of mine have told me that Trebor Extra Strong Mints really help them with morning sickness. Don't know if they will do you any good or if you've tried them before, but I thought I'd pass it on.

Nat, I'm with Diege, I'd be there in a flash too if I was nearer.
